This property is very well maintained and comfortable. Staff was friendly and breakfast was better than average. My only criticism is that the gym was not open until 8am, which prevented me from being able to use it before checkout. if not open 24 hrs, most gyms are open by 5am, which is better for early risers, like me.

Everything seems fine, and enjoyed the outside area and fire pits…a nice place to hang out in the evening. Downside is that the pool is advertised and mentioned upon check-in, but when we went out to the pool it was covered as was the jacuzzi! Also major roadwork on Main Street is a bummer we didn’t expect…

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ketchum. The location is great! Views of the mountains were awesome and our room had a balcony where we could sit and enjoy that view. All of downtown Ketchum was walkable, with shops and restaurants very close. The room was very clean. The property is older, but has been updated. The bed was okay, but could have been better. The mattress was a bit thin and soft. It had a small, local, boutique feel and reflects the outdoorsy character of the area. They had an outdoor fire pit and corn hole. The complementary breakfasts were very good. I would definitely stay there again!

The staff was friendly and the location was great but overall the hotel feels run down. It’s feels like an overpriced holiday in. Cheap furniture with bubbling finishes, floor buckling, pool base disintegrating and pool wasn’t very clean. Low water pressure in the shower.

We enjoyed our one night stay. I just wish I didn’t get the balcony suite as we never went out in the balcony. Jose at reception was amazing. The lobby was very cool and the room is very comfortable. My highlight was going into pool and hot tub at night!

Beautiful clean rooms and wonderful Staff make this a great place to stay. All rooms are pet friendly which is nice that you don’t have to be limited to certain rooms. There is a mini fridge but no microwave in the rooms. The pool is heated in the winter along with the hot tub. Both are outdoors. They supply robes so if you bring your swim suit, you can wear one to the pool area. There is an exercise room also available, and a lovely gathering room for breakfast. Coffee is available all day and night in the Lobby along with a fire, microwave and seating area. The Hotel Ketchum is walking distance to shops and stores. And free shuttle service right outside the building for skiing.

Very nice facility with cute sheep theme everywhere. Separate cafe style area for breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Which is good because they only offer housekeeping every third day so I had to visit the desk daily for coffee, washcloths, trash bags, etc. When housekeeping did finally come they didn't leave any coffee supplies at all or washcloths. Overall we were comfortable. You can hear folks walking around outside all night, unfortunately.

Room was spacious, very clean. Shower was great, good pressure and hot water! Nice amenities like a robe for going out to the hot tub. Hot tub was great. Breakfast was very good. Nice common areas. Easy to park close to room and elevator. Only downside was the beds being a little soft.

Frankly, I've never given a hotel review in my life, but I had to this time. Over $600 for two nights and the room was mind blowing dirty. Everywhere you looked there was dirt and grime accumulation. If you walked on the ground from bathroom to bed your feet would be black. Not acceptable for this price point and location.

Our room itself was very clean. Plenty of towels, and comfortable .Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly. The negatives: toilet in our room took forever to flush. The elevator was filthy. The towels at the pool were all wet, the trunk that they are in is not protected from morning dew/snow.

This is an older style hotel that has been remodelled to look hip. It is okay, but not what I expected for the location or the price. For example: - HVAC was a noisy wall-banger that blew right over my bed. - There was a smoke detector that flashed LED lights periodically in view if the bed. - No comforter, just thin bedding. On the plus side, the staff was nice.

Well located , clean and comfortable . Nice breakfast . However the staff are not very helpful . We inquired about the shuttle bus to the slopes but no information was given. After three days we found out there was a bus stop right outside and we were carrying our skis for four blocks in the cold . No information for restaurants etc

The original booking was made 3 months ago for a work trip plus a weekend with my wife. Unfortunately a month before we were to leave, my wife broke her foot. I called Hotel Ketchum to shorten the booking a month before we were due to stay there, to cancel the weekend portion booking. I was rudely told by the Hotel Ketchum staff that there would be no refund given if I shortened the stay. When I asked what could be done, they said that because it was booked via Expedia, I should contact them and ask for Expedia to file for an exception to the refund policy, which I did. Expedia asked for a exception and it was denied by Hotel Ketchum. While staying there, I asked to speak with the manager. I explained the situation that I would not be staying the full time of the booking and could the provide a refund. I was told that this was not possible as the booking was via Expedia and there was a no refund policy. I was rudely told that I must have booked incorrectly and it was my fault for going through a third party like Expedia. The lack of flexibility shown regarding shortening a booking and the terrible customer service was stunning. The shortsightedness of this business practice by Hotel Ketchum over a $250 refund has cost them a return customer. My work takes me to Sun Valley 3 times per year, for 2-3 nights per trip. I will not be spending any of those nights at Hotel Ketchum.

Normally a great location but Main street is torn up now (April 2025) so it was a bit noisy and very difficult to get to ski bus and venues…check road status before booking. Be careful not to gouge your shin on the bed frame like I did.
