First issue, the pool was closed. We specifically chose thisbhitel due to it having a pool. Secondly, there was not enough help for a busy weekend. I felt so sorry for the lady at the front desk, who was trying to take care of everyone Saturday morning as well as help take care of the very busy breakfast area. She was trying her best!

I would not recommend going to this hotel, I had the worst experience. The lady at the desk charged me twice for two nights, she claimed there was a glitch in the computer. To me it sounds like she didn't know what she was doing. Also I was not told that the pool was closed down until I asked much later on. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on my money to be returned to my account, I definitely will never be staying at this hotel again.

On Expedia it says that this hotel has a pool but when we got there the front desk lady said that they haven’t had a pool in over three months and that I couldn’t get a refund for my reservation. I showed her the Expedia website where it said that there was a pool at the hotel. She was very nice and said she wouldn’t charge me for the deposit. She was really nice and said she would make sure that they would get ahold of Expedia and get it changed. I will be contacting Expedia tomorrow morning

Hotel looked to be a decent shape, but upon inspection of the bathroom there was blood platters on the wall. We only were staying for one night so we just tried to ignore that thought. Breakfast attendant was efficient. Food was good!

The room was dirty, floor needed to be vacuumed and bathroom floor was dirty. I asked for it to be cleaned Saturday morning, twice, but not done or clean towels. No bar of hand soap. Other guests said their rooms were dirty too. Short staffed. One lady running breakfast and working front desk and getting cleaning staff their orders. Which were clearly not followed. Won’t stay there again when visiting family In Bourbonnais.

The room had an odd smell there was a hole in the back of the bathroom door, however that’s not the wildest part, the tub was HORRIBLE!!! It had plaster filled holes in the tub!!! The tub was not repaired correctly. The room above us NEVER SLEPT!!! Very heavy walking and I can almost guarantee there was at least 1 kid or 2 as we heard running back and fourth in the room.

One night stay heading for my son’s UIUC campus visit. It was beyond our expectations! The Mabager in the front desk super nice. The hotel is incredible comfortable and warm feeling. Clean, spacious and the breakfast was great, the espresso machine is wonderful surprise!

There was a lot of construction on the freeway and it smelled like asphalt. The room itself was clean however, the shower curtain was stained with something. The front door had a big gap. I could see through to the hallway however it was a nice size room.

The lighting in the parking lot is pretty bright. Rooms should have blackout drapes. Our room had thin blinds which did nothing to block out the lights. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

When we arrived the air conditioning was not on. We were on the third floor and it was EXTREMELY HOT. I had to purchase 2 fans to help cool it down. I understand heat rise. Secondly, no one cleaned our room Saturday..nor Sunday. I had to asked staff for toilet paper twice. We extended our stay until Monday and the staff still did not supply towels or toilet paper. We placed our used towels and trash outside of the door. I seen a housekeeper down the hall and she gave a large bag for my trash and was so willing to help. This was a very busy weekend and it was a lot people in the hotel. I still give the front desk staff 10/10

The staff was friendly & attentive when I made some requests. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. The air conditioner could use some servicing- it generated plenty of cold air but was a bit hard to regulate. The bath tub should be replaced as it's floor is not level. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The room had a strange odor, especially the bathroom. There were only hand towels left for us, no bath towels (remedied quickly by the front desk staff). Our toilet clogged at 11:30 pm and when I called the front desk, I was told to come and get the plunger from the front desk downstairs and unclog the toilet myself…!?! Which I did, but seriously!!!??? Every time I was at the front desk I had to wait several minutes because there was no one stationed there (the attendant in the morning was WAY overworked - running front desk AND the very busy breakfast area!). The beds were comfortable, the breakfast as expected. But unclog my own toilet?! Never thought I’d have that experience at a hotel!

The night I checked into the hotel.The young lady who was working gas services was on her cell phone Facetime.Me someone while conducting business with me. After getting settled into our room. My daughter went into the bathroom to take a shower and she noticed that the tub was dirty. I called the front desk. And explaying to the young lady that the tub was dirty. Her response was in a rude way. She was not housekeeping. But will put me in another room. When I went down to the front desk, the young lady was still on her cell phone Facetime.As I was trying to talk to her about the wrong we go into the new room.It had a king's sizes bed with an pull out couch. There was no linen for the pullout couch.Bad, my daughter went down to the front desk twice and there was no one to give us any sheets for the bed.Therefore my daughter had to sleep on a sofa bed with no linen. The day I checked out.I spoke finally spoken with the hotel manager.He treated it as if the young lady did nothing wrong laughed at my face. And basically insulted me by saying the next time you are in town.Let me know maybe I can do something for you. I feel that was the most inconsiderate.Unprofessional way to handle this concern.I didn't know that you can work in guest services and facetime while somebody is dealing with a customer.

I have often stayed here due to several factors. First of all, it is located near the I-57, and next door to a Cracker barrel. Secondly, the building seems fairly new and is well-maintained. Thirdly, the staff is friendly and efficient. One final plus is the very reasonable cost.

As usual I enjoyed my overnight stay. this establishment is clean and attractive, close to Cracker Barrel and to the I-57. It was quiet, and appreciated the spacious room. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good.

We stayed here for one night while we were exploring some historic sites in the area. We were happy from our first greeting at the front desk (I unfortunately do not know the name of the woman, but she was cheerful and helpful throughout our stay). Our room was wonderful. It was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and a sofa bed that made sitting easy. The common areas were comfortable and included a fully stocked bar and a snack bar type restaurant. There was a pool that looked inviting but we didn't have a chance to use it. We did however use the bar. Jessica, the bartender was friendly and crafted our drinks beautifully. The prices were very reasonable as well. The breakfast buffet was nicely done. There was hot food including a touchless pancake maker. There was even an expresso machine. We may not have a reason to come back, but if we ever do have need, we will definitely stay again. We can heartily recommend this hotel. P.S. We only rated location 4 stars as it was in a row of hotels that flanked a virtually deserted mall.

Overall a very nice experience. I'm rating a 4 instead of 5 as things were just not as they should be: carpet in hallway was worn and could be cleaned: shower curtain rod was bowed and there was no way to prevent the curtain from sliding toward the center and thus the floor was getting flooded, the body wash bottle was empty. That being said, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best I have had in a long time in one of these hotels-- fresh, nicely prepared and seasoned, plentiful.

The hotel itself is very large and comfortable. There is plenty of parking. The staff was great and helpful. It is a little bigger fitness center than its neighbor competitors which was nice. The only downside was that there were a few breakfast machines out of service and the eggs were not good (but that is pretty common from my experience).

I recommended this hotel to my husband because the restaurant is open late. Upon reservation, we instantly received a confirmation including the restaurant would be open until 9P. It wasn't open at all. Also, the desk manager sat at the bar and ignored my husband for five minutes with nobody at the desk. Coffee was tepid in the morning. I'm sorry I sent him there and we won't be back.
