I was prepared for the worst but I was pleasantly surprised. The positive... the room was clean and updated. The bed and bedding was comfortable. The check in staff was nice. Parking was free and it was walking distance to Lakeshore trail. Close/ walking distance to nice cafes and Whole Foods and the Metra. Not Great: It is an older property...remnants of a pool and conference center. No ice machine You can and WILL hear those above you and those in the hallway... It was worth the price...I was prepared for a dirty run down spot but instead just a clean nicely updated room.

First off, I have to say the two staff members at the front desk at check-in and -out were some of the friendliest, most welcoming, helpful hotel personnel I've ever encountered. Truly, ever. I wouldn't even be writing this review if not for them. Give them a raise. The room was fine. Very accessible. Free parking and a short walk to the Metra, which was sooo awesome. There were a couple dirty towels left hanging in the bathroom though, which is our only real complaint that it seems like it wasn't fully cleaned before we arrived.

The property was noisy with a terrible smell like a chemical factory. We moved out before we stayed a night. We were given a refund
