Got to hotel an hour and a half before check in time. Went in to check on possibility of an early check in. Front desk woman was rude, didn't even look at the computer or anything and just said there weren't any rooms ready. There are two elevators in the hotel. One was broken. Since the entire hotel had to share one elevator, just about every time coming or going you had to wait in line to get on the elevator. Rooms were not the cleanest, and very dated. There was food on the floor of our room and in the pull out couch when we pulled it out for our kids to sleep on. Couch was old and had stains too. Not good when your kids are sleeping on the pull out bed. The two women that were the bartenders and waitresses in the restaurant were great. I wish I remembered their names. They were very nice and gave wonderful service. They were the best part of the stay. It was an extremely hot day. Our kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. Overall, the pool was pretty good, but the patio around the pool could use a good cleaning and some updating. A storm came through the night we were there, and quite a bit of water came pouring in the window of the bedroom area. We let the front desk know this happened, but have a feeling nothing was likely done about it.

I spoke to the Bar manager about the food selection at the bar and the selection of rum liquor. All the rums are cough syrup crap, not even a mid range dark rum available. If the situation doesn't change I will choose another property nearby.

Property is very nice and clean. The staff very professional so my stay was nice. The only downside was the elevator was not working so all guests had to use the service elevator.

Beds big and comfy. Bathroom was huge! The outside lounging area was private and felt like you were outside of the city. The pool was a good size too. Wished it included a continental breakfast but meals to purchase in their restaurant was available.

Service was terrible. In check in the lady at the desk had a very bad attitude and was very short with me when I asked any questions. Then when we got into the room I realized they gave us a different room from the one I booked and when I went down to ask about getting into the one I actually booked they said they are overbooked by 8 rooms and can't do it today but the next day they can move us. I came down the morning of the next day and then the manager there told me they are still 2 rooms overbooked and can't move us still. So 3 people had to share one bed for the entire stay. Gym was nice there and room was clean but we won't be back!

Staff were really nice, 10/10. The room is really old, 7/10. They have a restaurant and the food if ok, eatable but not exactly delicious, 6/10. It was very warm sn humid the few days we stayed there but the pool was unfortunately closed for being out of season. I hope they reconsider extending that time.

I’m in hotels many times per month for my job. This hotel was by far the cleanest hotel I’ve been in since i started this job 5 years ago. Cudos to the housekeeping staff!! Very pleasant stay all around.

First off, I was shocked by the $100 pet fee - that was not noted anywhere when I made the reservation. I expected a pet fee, but not that much. Then 1 of 2 elevators was broken and the working one stopped at every floor every time. The stairs were hard to find. Finally there was a sewage smell coming from the shower or tub. On one guy told me in the elevator “ this hotel is going to hell” - he also had the sewage smell. Though the staff was super friendly, I won’t stay there again.

I would first like to state that the staff at this hotel goes above and beyond and are very friendly. Now to the downsides, when we first got into the room there were crumbs everywhere and upon opening the fridge there was a full meal in there. The door to the bathroom was broken. When we pulled out the pull out couch there were so sheets on it or within the room. Upon trying to get this straightened out none of the phones in the room were also working. The mattress was covered in yellow stains. It’s a shame that the rooms do not live up to the service. Such a shame.

Keep that in your mind you need to pay about $12 something dollar for the internet. When I tried to connect another device, they asked the upgrade, which is additional cost. Unbelievable! All the conversations and noises next door came through the wall including pounding sounds. It was terrible.....There was a group of young students that night. Scary at night. The remote control and the hair dryer was sticky and dirty and I didn't even want to touch them. When I checked out, I complained about the noises, I got a half-hearted apology. Not a good experience...

The location closer to the interstate and the tremendous value for the price is why I chose the Marriott Suites Deerfield. However the room smelled musty and a bit like sewage and one of two elevators was broken and there was a sizable crowd staying in the hotel. Otherwise the linens and pillows were wonderful as always at a Marriott and the room was clean

We have stayed at this property numerous times. Usually pretty good. This time not so much. No light in the bathroom. Sink faucet had zero water pressure and hairs all over the couch. Also, AC was on all night just to keep the room in the mid to high 70’s. Front desk lady was abrupt and lazy in my opinion.

The only issue was our room had flies and no one could find where they were coming from. It was very awkward and annoying. Front desk offered to spray and we declined due to Im asthmatic and have partial collapse lung. Our entire weekend was distracted with these flies. 727 room was not good.

Expected much better from a Marriott property. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and frankly not sleep-able. When asked for extra bedding for the sofa bed, it took them almost an hour to deliver it to the room. When I told the front desk person that I’d been waiting for a long time, he went on a mini-rant as to how he was the only person managing all calls alone. Huge mistake in booking it, only reason I booked it coz the Hilton I wanted was not available for the 2 nights we needed.

This hotel is a bit dated, but it still had a nice feel to it and was clean. The rooms could use some remodeling as things are a bit worn since last remodel was in 2007. I would definitely stay here again though, as the staff were always nice and welcoming and we were comfortable here during the 3 nights that we stayed. Overall, good experience!

The property is really nice, updated and modern, rooms are spacious and everything was really clean. You can NOT beat the price of this hotel! I loved the room… it has a seperate bedroom, a large living room with a microwave and refrigerator, as well as a bathroom with a tub and seperate shower. The area is really nice, very safe and the staff was really friendly! Definitely will be going back to this hotel!

The front desk staff is always amazing. Check is a breeze every time we’ve stayed here. This is a top pick for the Mister and me whenever we plan our staycations. We love the rooms and how they’re set up. Exactly the type of luxury and class you’d expect from the Marriott. The prices for the rooms have always been reasonable in my opinion. ALWAYS! I was told that booking through Expedia does not guarantee the room I’ve chosen even though the room was a completely different rate than the room I was given. I booked 2 rooms for my family. One was a king size bed with a sofa bed (that was correct) the second room was suppose to have 2 queen beds and one sofa bed. The staff at the counter said they have no more rooms with the 2 queens and that because I booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) it does not guarantee the room for me. She not only was snarky about it- I never even got a refund for the difference of the room. And when I got to the room she wanted to assign me it also smelled like the last person in there smoked cigarettes, heavily. The carpet floors had sticky disgusting residue

Worst “Attempted” & DENIED Check in experience. I contacted the hotel the morning of my reservation to let them know I’d be arriving very late/early morning of the next day, due to a 13 hour drive. I was told by the staff who took my call that would not be a problem, that I could check in at any time during my reservation time. When I arrived at 3:30am, I was treated with the most disrespect & rude welcome I have ever experienced at any hotel/motel. The condescending attitude as if to say, “How dare you show up at this hour!”, the employee working the check in counter advised me the only way she’d check me in is if I paid for an ADDITIONAL night’s stay & even at that I’d have to wait at least 30 minutes because she was in the middle of closing out the previous days transactions. It was the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. I would never stay or recommend this Marriott property, based 100% on how I was treated & spoken to. I believe when working in the Hospitality industry, more care & compassion should be shown to customers.
