Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago-Libertyville by IHG

The hotel is in a good location for us. It's across the street from an amazing restaurant for breakfast. The hotel does serve an ok breakfast buffet for free as well. Room is clean and comfortable but nothing special.

We stayed here while our daughter was graduating from Navy Basic training. The information they provided with their directions made this day seamless. We drove there and saw all the people lined up to get into the base and utilizing their directions we bypassed all of this and got right into the graduation. We left at 630 and we were sitting by 7. They really know what they are doing here. Would definitely stay here again.

We were disappointed about the pool being “temporarily closed”. It looked like they had cleaning materials by the pool. The elevator was definitely an older elevator and made me nervous how noisy it was. It’s definitely an older hotel that has tried to keep up with the modern times. There weren’t any vending machines that we saw besides the front lobby, just an ice dispenser.

The pool was closed with no notification. Waste of an entire trip. I’m not homeless I do not need to get a hotel unless I am going swimming. Had I know the pool was closed I would have never booked this girl to begin with. The staff was unfriendly and unwilling to provide any compensation. Breakfast was ok but they merit running out and the pancake machine did not work

I spent over $600 for a 3 night stay. A key point of me choosing this hotel for my stay was for the pool. Upon arrival the pool was closed and the staff was not willing to accommodate us for the inconvenience. Breakfast is also included in the stay for the hours or 6am to 9am. Once about 7:40-8am came around they were running low on food for their guests and had attitudes when asked if there would be more to eventually come out.
