Overall a good stay…it was slightly crowded at property due to hosting 2 weddings. The pool is great but they should have more than ONE server working the pool & restaurant. Wait time for order was very long. It was ridiculous how the server was hustling with no other help. Put a damper on otherwise good time at the pool.

This is a great place to stay in the area. Great lobby, 2 bars, a restaurant , pool, etc. I like the sprawliing resort feel much more than the typical boring tower hotels. Ill be back.

We went primarily to take our kids swimming and the indoor pool was closed, and the executive lounge offered no snacks. From the looks, the pool probably hasn’t been working for a while.

Pool area very private and lush. Lobby spacious with nice comfortable chairs and couches in close proximity to Starbucks and Bar.Theatre easily accessible through hotel or a short pleasant walk in nice weather.

Pictures of the rooms are false advertisement. I paid $220 per night. The rooms are very small. The restrooms are super small. Furniture was dusty. Looks like an old hotel. Definitely not worth the money.

The hotel itself was clean and welcoming. We were big fans of the restaurants and bar at the hotel and LOVED the show that we saw at the theatre there. Our room was clean and cozy. We loved our stay and everyone was so nice. We look forward to staying again!

Pros: The garden area outside is beautiful. Loved that they have 2 pools and a jacuzzi. The staff were wonderful. Loved that they had Starbucks on site. I didn’t get a chance to eat at their restaurant but it looked really nice. It was cool that they have a theater attached. Cons: The hallways are dated and had a nasty smell at times. The bathroom glass cups weren’t clean. The pressure of the shower water was mid. We had to hold the toilet handle down for it to properly flush. You pay for Wi-Fi if you’re not a Bonvoy member. For what I paid for and the pictures I saw on the website, I expected better!

Our room was disgusting. Stained comforter, hair in sink and dust and dirt all over the phones, floor and furniture. Switched rooms but didn’t get what we originally paid for. Bar staff was incredible, but other staff were rude and unhelpful.

I stayed at the Lincolnshire Marriott hotel for 3 nights. The day before checking out, I discovered a pair of used black panties covered in dust in the corner of my room by the drapes. Absolutely filthy and disgusting. They had obviously been there for quite some time. The lack of inattention to the sanitary conditions in this hotel is abhorrent. I'd rather not imagine what else is going on in this establishment. To make matters worse, I reported the issue to the front desk manager during checkout who offered me a cup of coffee and breakfast as a solution. This man is in the wrong industry and should have gotten into stand-up. Who would want to eat in place like that? Thankfully, I knew better than to dine at hotel of this tier prior to the discovery. He went on to say that because I booked my trip with Expedia, there was nothing else he could do. Unbelievable. Marriott Corporate will know about this shortly. Zero professionalism or effort. The room should have been comped. In the meantime, readers beware. Booking your trip through these third parties basically gives hotels immunity - you could die there and all you'll get is Starbucks. I only booked this place because it was a convenient middle ground between my destination and the airport. Never again. I'll happily drive an extra 30mins and stay at the Four Seasons. Marriott just reinforced why that's a good idea. To the reader: save your money or take your business elsewhere.

The sheets were soiled two dark spots on them sheets very wrinkled not crisp and clean inviting trying to get enough or replacing linens or towels and washcloth were very difficult and staffing and acted troubled when asked! One of the rooms next to ours a man knocked on it and told us to keep it down and turn volume down on tv I assured him the tv was not on and my mother 84 years old was in the bathroom!! The front staff was notified and never followed up! There was no table or place to set our food and and have a light meal in our room! The lighting is awful and no extra place to get ready if someone in bathroom. Very bad experience!!

The resort is marketed like an upgraded stay and maybe it once was but the place gave off a very dated vibe. Overall the staff is super friendly and helpful but we didn't feel like we were staying at a resort. The carpets are all worn down, broken tiles on the floor right when you walk in the main lobby and the whole place is due for a face lift to charge the rates they are demanding. The elevators smelled very musty (poor ventilation?) and felt very old and clunky. In our room the toilet seat had chunks missing in it that the they painted white instead of just replacing the seat with a new one. Its a cheap fix but makes a huge difference. There were several hairs (not ours) in the sink and shower that grossed us out, making us question how well the room was actually cleaned. The bed was comfortable enough. Our breakfast was included as part of a VIP room we booked and the food was fairly good. The omelet station was excellent and again the staff at the restaurant were on their game. Overall the stay was fine but I guess my expectations were higher going into it thinking this would be a higher class establishment. At one time I'm sure this place was but it just needs some TLC to bring it back to that type of level.

Great stay, front desk especially the women who checked me out on Sunday and with the Wi-Fi on Saturday was extremely helpful, the hotel team was always available, prompt, polite, and accommodating. The room was updated well, bathroom was nice, bathroom door lock would have been nice. Only negative would be hallway lighting is very dark but honestly it wasn't an issue. Some out door updates and clean up would really make this place pop.

I was looking forward to this one night trip with my BBF…but it was super expensive and HORRIBLE!! I paid top dollar for this room hoping to get a view of the lake or at least some trees But instead my view was of the child’s play area and reception hall. A wedding was taking place and I understand it’s a time of happiness. But, the music was playing LOUD and the front desk promised the music would be done by 11:00….not!!! The room was so far away from the front desk, it took 15 minutes to get there. In addition there is only one bank of elevators. Also, the toilet ran constantly!! Absolutely nothing nice about the room. And had NO safe in the room?!? As far as food, we ate in the “Bistro”. Don’t remember the full name. Very pricey and by far the worst meal I have ever had and I travel quite a bit. The waiter was great. Breakfast was to be included…in was not!!!

Pretty solid hotel stay, we enjoyed our time. It was a holiday weekend but it did not feel crowded even though there were lots of people staying there. It is a spacious place. Enjoyed the outdoor pool, very clean! Service was wonderful, food tasty, and customer service was great. Only a few quibbles...the room felt a little on the small side and the bathroom door was a barn slide door (we did not love that) that felt like it never fully closed. Rooms could use a little brightening up. The fireworks was a nice plus, was not expecting that and they were great. Would stay again.

My room was on ground floor that felt unsafe and close to an elevator. Requested right after check-in to be moved. Staff was no help My room was 4 rooms down from an elevator - Very hard to sleep, people were walking around very loud at close to 2am in the morning.

After a disastrous stay somewhere else I booked multiple rooms late in the evening for this hotel. We didnt arrive until after 9 pm. The man working was very friendly and super helpful. We asked for a trash bag to cover the window that was broken at the last place we stayed. He not only got us the bag but also tape and had us park it where it could be watched by security. We didnt get to utilize any of the amenities but the staff was wonderful.

The smoke alarm started to beep at 3:30am and the front desk told me there was nothing that could be done until the engineers come in at 7am. Granted this was my last night but before a 31 hr road trip. My whole stay but this evening was great. Just extremely annoyed I was told at 3:30am I have to sit and listen to a beeping alarm every 5 mins until at least 7am vs getting a new room or just removing the smoke alarm if that was a possibility so I could sleep. Seems inexcusable and honestly just lazy batteries couldn’t be replaced or at the least a different room/refund for that night- instead I was told sorry every 5 minutes it will beep until we can fix it at 7am aka 3 and a half hours later…. I ended up leaving at 5am bc my dogs were so scared from the beeping they started to munch on their paws from being nervous

Great place to stay north of Chicago. We stayed to see Catch me if You Can. We liked the safeness of staying in the suburbs, but Chicago is only a short drive to to the sites there during the daytime.

The accommodations and easy access to Marriott Theatre were awesome. Menu options at Three Embers did nit include any traditional steakhouse options which was disappointing. Some items were creative and delicious but a little too different.

The property has a great kitchen! I ate in the restaurant 2 different days, and the food could not be better prepared. I had my son's rehearsal dinner at the restaurant, with 38 people 15 from China, and they all raved at how good the food was. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to impress the other side of the marriage.
