Their was no heated pool that was the only reason we came their was 100 dollar deposit but o line it said 50 me and my children came to use the pool the lady complained about the kids being loud in the pool mind you they are only 5 and 10 and my daughter is autistic we left 30 min later because of it their should be a sighn regarding the pool heater not working on the website

We stayed overnight as a family with our toddler. The elevator wasn’t working so we had to use the stairs (hopefully it gets fixed ASAP). Two things I did not like is they put the coffee machine in the bathroom right next to the toilet (not very hygienic) and the pillows are too small. The area felt safe and secure. Breakfast was good and the lady there was very nice and attentive. Overall, it was good.

Convenient driving access and parking. Clean and well managed. Spacious room and nice pool and gym available. Good room and water temperature. Only complaint is low water pressure in the shower.

The property was good. The only bad experience was about the elevator. It was not working for all four days. We have to lift our heavy bags using stairs.

Staff was a step above homeless people. Building was TERRIBLE! Drywall on ceiling in pool area was literally falling apart. Paint was needed EVERYWHERE! Elevator was down for the entire 3 day stay which required us to carry our luggage up and down the steps to get to a room. The pool had a Band-Aid floating in it. The light switches in our room were dirty. The shower was obviously not cleaned. None of the housekeeping staff spoke any English, so we had to walk down to the first floor to ask for any needed items. The exercise room smelled like something had died in it. They had three pieces of equipment, of which only the recumbent bike worked. The breakfast was actually decent. Bottom line…..only stay there if it keeps you from sleeping outside. When we left there were 4 Police cars there dealing with God Only Knows what. It is difficult for me to believe that Comfort Suites allows their name to be associated with this place.

I wish I would’ve taken more pictures. From my first look standpoint, it looks like a perfect hotel. After being there a couple of days, you really start to notice things that are out of place. For starters. The Pool. It’s only open from 10 AM to 8 PM. Which makes it really hard if you’re going into Chicago and then getting back and letting the kids burn out energy. The pool clearly has been vacuumed/cleaned in a little while you can literally see the dirt at the bottom of the pool. We stayed there four days and nobody has touched the pool. Every time I wanted to take a picture of the pool area the lights were always off so you can’t get a good picture cause the pool is always closed when I was ready to engage There is parts of the hotel, where the walls are collapsing. Picture will be down below. And it’s little things like this throughout the hotel that are in several different places. Rooms did not get cleaned during the whole duration we were there now granted that could still be resemblance from Covid. However, we costly were asking for more towels. We were constantly asking for more soap. The sheets inside the couch were torn to shreds. Now when we did request things housekeeping was great and brought it and did it just fine. The breakfast at this property was perfectly fine. One more thing I would recommend if you stay here is go through your sheets really well I did find hair in one of our beds. Overall, as a budget, friendly hotel yes it is worth the money.

Only issue was that outside doors did not work key card entry was broken Very inconvenient

The property was remodeled with nice white , gray tones. Unfortunately pool times were 11-8 wish they were extended. I checked in early and was charged $40.

Elevator was out of service

The elevator was not in good working order, felt like a risk every time you used it. The inspection sticker wasn’t current says it expired 12/31/23.

Pros: Decent breakfast options including eggs, bagels, fruit, and waffles. Bathroom was clean. Convenient location with parking. Blackout curtains. Cons: Room did not feel clean with stained sheets and furniture. Paper think walls so you can hear your neighbours and people in the hallway. Overall would not stay here again.

The front desk agent was very friendly and professional; check-in was easy. The room was incredibly clean. Room temperature was perfect. The bed was comfortable. The black-out curtains were great. This may seem trivial to most, but the lighting around the bathroom mirror was the best lighting I have ever experienced in a hotel (I was actually able to put on my makeup and have it look decent).

I definitely would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. I have massive bedbug bites all over my body!! (Nape of my neck; on my thighs; ankles and hands!) Housekeeping never came to my room! I'm still trying to make certain I didn't bring any bedbugs with me! I had to dump a suitcase full of clothes, put clothes in the cleaners, toss my comforter and throws! It was a horrible experience!!! Never going there again!!!

The staff( front day was very professional. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful. We didn’t stay for breakfast CJ

Extraordinarily clean!!!

The room smelled like urine,the lamp shadesand curtains were stained badly, both double beds had hair on the fitted sheets.I called down to address my concerns with night staff he was very rude and seemed upset that I had a complaint heconly gave me 1 sheet set when needed 2. I spoke to Gm and was told that I could get a refund.

Breakfast options were very limited. As in one type or meat and one egg option that’s it. Along with the normal breads cereal waffle. On the first night I noticed a few ants but no big deal we killed them and moved on but by the third day there were ants everywhere. All over our jackets that were on top of a chair and on the walls and floors and luggage. We were on the second floor so I can’t imagine how much worse the bottom floor would have been. At that point I was fed up we were offered the next room over which still had ants but not as many. Will not return.

Very run down everywhere in building. Filthy in stairwells and hallway. I had grime on my closet and bathroom doorknobs & hair dryer that I cleaned off myself. The walls around the bathtub were water damaged, cracking, and flaking. Carpet was not clean or vacuumed well. Doors slamming, noises in hall, and trucks backing beeper daily at 6am. Blackout curtain didn't close all the way. No fruit or non-dairy milk at breakfast.

Beds were full size and not queen sized and uncomfortable, pillows didn’t feel normal sized either, water pressure in shower was low, trash in room from prior guest, hallway smelled of pot, room not well insulated as you could hear everything from hallway and other room next door.

Not a bad place to stay. The room was average, but it was difficult to sleep with the traffic noise. The dumpster below our third floor window at 5:30 am didn't help!

The room was very spacious!!

It was convenient to the family we were visiting and the rooms were nice and clean. I do think there needs to be an upgrade to the technology outlets with all of us having multiple devices that needed charging.

I stayed at this hotel three nights during a regular business week. My check-in was pleasant and staff were very nice. My initial room (King Suite) was very clean. However, the mattress was hard as a rock. I had to sleep on the pull out couch (surprisingly more comfortable). I let staff know the next morning and the front desk agent acknowledged my complaint as a common complaint among guests. She stated that replacing mattresses is in future plans for the hotel. They accommodated me and switched my room. It was to a lesser room, a junior king suite, but I slept way better the next two nights. The hotel itself is dated on the outside, but seems to have been recently updated on the inside. If it weren't for the staff and cleanliness, I'd probably give this property two stars. Also, the breakfast needs improvement.

The beds were hard as boards. Very uncomfortable. Breakfast was good Bathroom was clean.

Walls are super thin and there is plenty of noise in the neighborhood. Renovation going on and there are scraps, debris laying all around. Breakfast was better than expected. price point is spot on.

Room was clean , bed was comfy .

The hotel was clean. The room was fine. The breakfast was adequate. There was a lot of noise in the halls until 1am my first night - kids running up and down the hall. It was quiet my 2nd and 3rd nights.

Front desk clerk, Pete, was extremely attentive to make sure my stay at hotel was great

Great staff

Check in was difficult. We entered the lobby and no one appeared to be working the front desk. We called out asking if anyone was working several times, getting increasingly loud, and received no response. We found one of the room attendants and she was unable to assist us. Finally, after a 10-13 minute wait I called the hotel and someone answered and finally showed up to check us in with a very dismissive attitude. I don't know if this was the desk attendant or not but I was left with the distinct impression that I was bothering her by wanting to be checked in. I travel frequently, and can honestly say it was one of the strangest and most unpleasant check ins I've ever encountered.

I had some issues with the electronic key but they fixed it. Excellent team!

Typical for this chain of hotels that they refuse to clean the room for 3 days even upon request. Room with 2 queens and only 3 towels, family of 4.

Elevator was out of order… on the second and third floor. First room curtains were disgusting. Front desk who happens to be the assistant manager was rude and not helpful! Will never stay at this location again.

The front desk liaison Latonya is so sweet and so upbeat and charming. I really did enjoy walking in and out of the hotel just because of her sweet greetings she’s very efficient, friendly thorough and an all-around incredible employee. I will come back to this hotel, simply because of how pleasant the staff is.

When first getting there to check in the lady was very rude. Her name started with an E the next day. I came downstairs and asked for towels and face towels and she said OK we left for the day came back late that night and we still had no towels and stuff in our room so I called down there and she got really smart about the whole situation. I did not know they didn’t deliver them to the room. She should’ve told me that and she didn’t. so when I got off the phone, I end up having to go down to the front desk and get some the next day. We need toilet paper and it was like a problem for her to get us some toilet paper and again I didn’t know that they didn’t bring toilet paper to your room. Either every time I ask her for something she was very smart mouth rude disrespectful if anything our bathroom sink state stopped up the whole time and I did tell them about it. Their breakfast had scrambled eggs and biscuits. That’s it no meat at all so my stay there was I’m not satisfied.

Just stayed there June 19 and checked out Saturday. Amazing hotel very quiet at night. Didnt get to eat breakfast so i cannot speak about it. FREE PARKING!

Pretty quiet hotel, better than the ones around

Very nice property near I355, but without any noisy traffic.

Proximity to my destination was perfect. Pleasant room and stay. Will stay again.

Close to stores

This hotel is in need of updates. We found the beds/furniture to be uncomfortable, showers had poor pressure, and the curtains in our room were stained with what appeared to be blood. This hotel is not in a walkable area.

It was clean, noise all night long from next door, no coffee in breakfast room but coffeemaker in room was not complete, parts missing. Housekeeping brought a new one in a box that we set up to enjoy before departure. Location was good for us.

Nice helpful staff. McDonald's is n3xt door and easy to walk to. I also liked the hot breakfast and the small market for snacks.

Got to the room and everything was good until we got into the room. You could tell the sheets were not clean there was stains all over them. The pillows were so thin so if you HAVE to stay here and it’s your absolute LAST resort bring your own. Our key card deactivated numerous time so we kept having to ask for new ones almost every single day. Parking was an absolute nightmare. Got to the hotel one night and there was no parking. The breakfast was the only ok thing. Still the food was pretty gross and the biscuits they had were as hard as a rock. Do not recommend. Stay literally anywhere else

Weekend rates are excessive compared to weekday rates. Water pressure is regulated to VERY low on hot temps. Rooms comfortable and clean, quiet , breakfast typical, coffee machines broken. Do more research before staying for better locations closer to Chicago.
