Pool was under "maintenance" but obviously hadn't been touched and just needed cleaned. Exterior door had no handle to enter closer to our room so we always had to use the front entrance. Room was dirty and the hardly any food for breakfast but eggs and some bread.

Pool was closed for the season - in June. Laundry facilities did not work. Bathroom floor in room was not cleaned. Our bed was not made. Hallway carpet was disgusting. Not all the exterior doors were working to allow you back in. The breakfast was opened late and ran out of items (milk, waffle mix, coffee). The TV volume in the breakfast area could not be adjusted - it just blared at you (we could turn it off).

Dirty and run down. Stains on the sheets and I wouldn’t trust what was around the tub. breakfast was basically non-existent. Bread was stale. Treadmill was broken in gym (and tv was also broken). I know I get what pay for but this felt complete lack of care rather than low budget.

We booked the hotel based on the pool being an amenity offered. Upon checking in we found out the pool was not in working order, there were cockroaches in the picture frames on the wall, stains on the sheets and no breakfast aside from grey sausage and dried out eggs. I did not get my deposit back because the sheets were already stained upon my stay and I did not let them know, they obviously knew when they put them on the bed that they had a purple stain (what would that have even come from)!! This establishment is a nightmare from start to finish, do not stay here!!

This property is pretty run down. Hallway carpet and walls are really dirty. Room was alright (bed was great) but bathrooms are outdated and cleaning can only make things looks so good. The one big gripe I have is that there is NO airport shuttle as stated as an amenity. The shuttle was my primary need when booking. The person checking me in said that I could walk to the airport which is about a 10 minute walk. I had to drag three bags (including a bike bag) across a highway and along a frontage road with no sidewalks. If you are booking this place be prepared to do the same.

The property is nothing like the pictures on the internet. The place is under construction, but that does not mean the dirtiness is ok. First, the carpets in the hallways were soak and wet. Had humidifiers running throughout the facility, constantly. But that didn’t help the wet carpet. Looks like a bad flood happened. So the halls smelled moldy. Second, the hotel was suppose to offer a continental breakfast, which did not happen. Coffee, juice, and cupcakes. They offered waffles as well. (That is for the ones who like to eat the hotels breakfast.) Third, the area was not safe. People outside all times of the night. Dog poop everywhere. Doors not working correctly. It was just not comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay there unless it’s the last resort.

Pool broken, front door broken, side door broken! I was woke up at 7AM on Sunday with workers doing construction work outside my room! Left early and did not stay another night. Moved to another hotel.

The buildings hallway to get to my room smelled like mildew and carpet looked dirty and old. Inside the room was cleaned, however the beds mattress was stained and it looked old. We had to sleep on top of the covers. The pillows were stained as well. The rug looked old and dirty as well. It had a funny smell though. I would not stay there again. Very disappointed!

Upon entering my room I discovered that the bathroom had not been cleaned as evidenced by human waste on the toilet seat. I went to the front desk to ask for a rag and disinfectant explaining why I needed them. The man at the desk didn’t blink an eye as he handed me cleaning supplies. As I began to clean the toilet I discovered old, dried urine all around the base of the toilet I hadn’t noticed before. And then hair in the corners of the bathroom floor. The black mold on the grout of the shower was just frosting on this disgusting cake. When I returned the cleaning supplies and explained that I chose not to get on my knees and clean the bottom of the toilet the man at the desk said “okay”. No apology, no offer to remedy the situation, no concern that a guest had just cleaned a previous guest’s mess. Needless to say I kept finding more evidence of previous guests’ stays but as I was just staying until my flight in the morning I decided to stick it out. The fact that someone decided to run the dryer next to my room, with what sounded like a bag of marbles, at 10:30pm is not the fault of the management but it only added more fuel to my resolve to never stay here again.

I think they have bed bugs. I stayed there for two nights and huge itchy welts started the first and second night. They're all over my body by the time I left. I'm miserable. I've never stayed at a hotel with bed bugs before. So I didn't know what was happening until after I left and showed my friend all of the welts all over me.

The first room they gave us smelled so bad I didn’t even step into the room. When my husband came up to the room I opened the door again & we went in the room. There was an end table on top of the bed, a fan blowing on the carpet, and trash on the floor. Unfortunately we were on a time schedule, so we couldn’t switch hotels. They gave us another room. This room had mold on the shower curtain and the drapes were broken. It also stunk of mold & mildew. I would never stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Horrible! This hotel was filty. The carpets were grimmy and the room and hallways reaped of cigarette smoke. The bathroom had mold growing. They claimed it is smoke free hotel. It was so bad, we could not stay there. We had to get another hotel. And to top it off, Orbitz nor the La Quinta would not refund our 3 night stay even though we did not stay there at all. This place is a smokers dream. No need to light up, just take a big breath or scrap the nicotine off the walls.

The hotel is definitely not a high end stay but that's why the price fits the hotel. The biggest positive is that it was clean. We had the large room (suite??). It was definitely large enough. Super clean. The loveseat and recliner definitely need to be replaced. They have seen better days. The hallways look like some work is being done to spruce it up.

Wow! Do not stay here right now. They need better management. The bathroom was not clean. There was hair and it was dirty along the baseboards and corners. Black colouring in the sink by the drain. They had a flood and the hall smelled very musty. Carpets looks dirty in the halls. Doors need paint. The room itself beside the bathroom was ok: bed was clean, no bedbugs or bugs. Internet was in and out at times, very slow. My first bad review.

I would not stay there again and in fact I am requesting a refund! Desk clerk opened my door at 2:20 am and I didn’t know who it was! Couldn’t reach the front desk for help, phones in room dead and thought I was too!

The guy at the front desk was very rude. We were told no clean towels until after 8am and even then they said it would be another 2 hours. My son woke up from his nap, snuck out of the room while I was sleeping, and pulled the fire alarm that was outside our door. The hotel charged us for the fire department having to come but never gave a receipt. My son is 2, this never should have been within his reach. At checkout, we were running behind because we couldn't fit everything in our car. The girl at the front desk said we had until noon. After that someone called the phone and insisted that we had to leave now. Very unprofessional very rude

When I arrived at airport I tried to call the motel for a shuttle to the room I had booked. I spent 25 minutes in a recorded twilight zone trying to get to front desk. No matter what number I tried I kept getting a recording trying to get me to book a room that I didn’t need Even when I pushed the number for the front desk I got the booking recording. Thought I was going to have to take a Uber. Once I finally got through things went smoothly and driver and front desk were great.

Hotel property was under renovation which definitely was needed. After checking in at two in the afternoon pounding and construction on the second floor continued till 8 o’clock at night. I reported to the front desk after 5 o’clock that the noise was not acceptable. The hammering and pounding did not stop for hours after that. The neighborhood is very seedy lots of unsavory action in the parking lot. I requested a room on the second floor so that I could safely leave my my room darkening shades open despite all the disturbing parking lot activity, but was told because of renovation there weren’t any rooms. Worst of all I awakened at 2 AM to a what sounded like a violent screaming fight in the hallway where one man told the other to stand down and shut up or he would make him do it.I won’t quote any of the rest of the conversation which was loud and profane. The hallways were very dingy and poorly lit. The one bright spot was the actual room was clean and comfortable although the bathroom needed serious renovation. As a woman traveling alone, I would never rebook this property again.

It was very close to the airport. Fortunately, the airport was within walking distance because no shuttle service was available even though this service was advertised as free. The motel was also within walking distance of a very good restaurant.

I've stayed here several times, usually before an early flight out of MLI. Facility could use a major refresh, including new shuttle vans, but service is good, rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Good value for the money, and just a three minute haul to the airport

This used to be a pretty nice property, however it has since gone downhill. Carpet is filthy in the hallway, bathrooms need improvement, and breakfast could definitely use an upgrade. Waffle batter is thin, and watery, not much of a selection. This was very disappointing.

The staff were all very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was great with many options. Room was comfortable & quiet. The outside property was in poor shape, with the parking lot & outdoor spaces being quite run down. The interior is currently being painted, so maybe the outside repairs will be next.

First impressions were good. The check in area looks very good! But when we went to the room, the carpets in the hallway were very dirty and the walls look beat up. The room had been redone so it looked pretty good. The bathtub faucet didn’t want to switch to shower mode but otherwise the room was good! The continental breakfast left a little to be desired but luckily there is a McDonalds next door. We will not be staying there again!

It was right at the airport (good), had to ask for new towels and only got them after asking, not the next two days we didn't ask.(strange). They provided free coffee and breakfast of danish, muffins, fruit, waffles, juices. (good!) Overall not bad and breakfast was a nice addition. Good deal for the money and location.

Cleanliness was good, motel stinks in hallway. Walk next door to McDs cause breakfast is horrid!! Air condition cant keep up and keeps clanking...toilet and shower barely drain.... beds are broken fown and horrible

The property is terrible. There were tall weeds growing in front of the building. There was chipped paint everywhere. There was no one at the reception desk for quite a while. The room as clean but barren. Not like any of the pictures. The carpet in the halls was filthy and old. The baseboards were missing. It seemed like the place had flooded. If there had been a flood, it should have been closed for repair. There was a terrible smoke smell in the hall that was designated no smoking. It went from bad to worse. The breakfast item that amazed me the most was a huge slow cooker pot of COLD biscuit gravy. The reception clerk had to be instructed as to how to get it to work, by plugging it in. So, the place was serving cold gravy for breakfast. There were no nutritious items, no eggs. We left and had a lovely breakfast at McDonalds. So, in summary, a very disappointing stay. I should get a refund, especially since I had to eat a meal elsewhere, that was to be included in the price.

About 10 minutes before our arrival, they called to inform us that the hot water was out. It was too late to cancel and find another room so we decided to not cancel the reservation. Room was clean and beds were comfortable so hot water not a huge deal for a 1 night stay. Continental breakfast was terrible. The eggs were a frozen egg substitute that were cold and soggy. If not for the waffle, this would have been a 1 star. Coffee was below average but tolerable. Not my worst hotel experience, but definitely top 5 worse.
