Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago O'Hare

The room is set up for extended stay. The exercise area has just a few machines. The breakfast buffet is great . I enjoyed for two days I Parking The hotel charges $25 day to park overnight. I did not expect this extra charge.

We went to a concert at Allstate arena and was amazing to just walk like a 5 minutes to get there, also the airport shuttle is very convenient and save you a few dollars, the pool looks nice but was closed for the season, the only complaint I have, the carpet in one of the entrances smells really bad, I think is because the hotel is pet friendly, but they should pay attention to keep it clean and the las thing, one of the lamp screens in my room was broken, I let front desk know about it.

Great location. Great amenities airport shuttle, laundry, kitchen in every room.

Very accommodating they also offer free breakfast and airport shuttle services. The staff there were very nice and helpful.

Be prepared to pay $30 a day to park your car on top of your hotel fees.

We chose this property because it was close to our activities, but the property charges $18 for parking, we were on the 2nd floor and had Ants in our rm building didnt connect, so for breakfast we had to go outside in the rain to get to the building they serve breakfast . That would be a no thx !

Close to the venu at Rosemont. I don't like the fact we had to pay for parking at the hotel. How would we arrive there without transportation? You are Forced to pay at the mercy of the establishment

Big room - nice shuttle

I tried to use the shuttle but the staff gave me totally inadequate directions to meet the shuttle. I waited 45 minutes in freezing temperatures only to watch their shuttle bus drive right by me twice. I eventually took a cab.

The shuttle service to and from the airport was good, however they only run the shuttles until 10:30pm, so you need to book a cab if you are traveling after 10:30pm.

Dogs barking constantly, not that clean.

You can notice the room was dirty same as the bathroom at the moment of the check in the staff wasn’t really welcoming we stayed gor one night and gor the price we expected something better the whole hotel was really run down it needs more maintenance

Bad room was full of dust and roaches

Waited almost an hour for the shuttle from the Airport,. Reception and cafeteria was detached from the rooms. Saw a few cockroaches in the room.

It’s reasonably priced, but felt dated. Parking for a fee. Slight odor in halls and dirty carpets, but room was clean. Nothing special here but if you are looking for easy access to Allstate arena this is the spot.

Like the proximity to shopping and dining options. However, for the negatives, the property itself had a foul/moldy smell all over! There were no additional bedding available for the pull out need! On a 4-night stay, no house keeping provided!

I like this hotel due to its proximity to the Target and the variety of restaurants, and also the rental car agency. It is about a 15 minute walk to the airport rental car center and tram to the terminals. The room has a kitchenet, king size bed and a sofa bed. There is no bed sheet provided with the sofa bed though, I had to get it from the front desk. But the smell from the old carpet in the room is overwhelming. Luckily, the windows can be opened to get fresh air in.

Rooms were very clean, housekeeping does a great job.

Called few times for room service to change bedding, there were bedbugs in one of the bedrooms. Will never stay there again stay away from this place, also charged for parking.

We loved how close this hotel is to the Allstate Arena! Very easy to walk over for a concert. And, the pool was lovely for a quick swim with kids. The suite was large and fantastic for grandparents and grandkids.

I absolutely loved this hotel! So homey and roomy and the amenities were amazing. Basically a whole kitchenette with a full fridge and microwave and stove. Amazing bed and I loved the couch! The shower was amazing with the water pressure. Big closet.

The building seems like it needs renovation. Other than that, our suite is nice and spacious. One of the bed room’s window was broken and taped up. The refrigerator had some dents, but worked just fine.

Convenient location next to Allstate Arena. Good room sizes. Decent breakfast.

It's a nice place. Clean and well maintained. We booked a 2 bedroom suite with a mini kitchen and found it comfortable and as shown in images. Would recommend it.

Stayed 2 different nights, 2 different rooms. Outlets are loose, and behind furniture. Hotel does require a remodel, as it is looking ‘worn’ from use. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly.

Lots of space! Full fridge and full stove! Seriously needs updates! We had a 2 bedroom suite. The sink in my family members bathroom was cracked and the window in my rpom had a broken/cracked window held together with tape. One undesireable neighbor who smoked weed all day. There was a couple constantly fighting in the parking lot. This place has potential.

The one thing I did not like was that I am handicapped and when we got to the hotel, my wife went in with my ID and credit card and of course she has the same last name and we have over 450 stays at Marriott. They would not let her check in. She had to come out to the car get my cane out help me in the building and then they wouldn’t let her check in. I had to do the check-in so that meant I had to stay in there I don’t think that’s a good policy. I understand the security but somebody that’s a senior and handicapped with 450+ days should be allowed to check by my wife she has my wallet my credit cards my drivers license

I asked the front desk for a change of towels and they never showed up

Fantastic location, super friendly staff, and a variety of dining options. The area felt safe, and my room was clean with a very comfortable bed. I especially loved the no-slip cover in the tub—such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend!

I like that it is so close to the All State Arena. I’ve stayed here many times. But not anymore. What I did not like is that they somehow obtained my credit card information and charged the parking fee after the other guest had paid for the stay as well as the parking. When we brought it up to the desk upon checkout they assured us that it was just a hold on the card and would be taken off in a few days. Again, if the other guest had paid and placed the hold on their own card, why did they charge mine. Make sure they go over the receipt with you before you leave, so that they can see the issue.

The hotel staff was superb! always accommodating and trying their best to serve you. The hotel driver of the airport shuttle is another story; he let us wait for 50 min in the airport after a 9.5-hour flight from Italy. Not happy about that, but i believe the problem will be corrected in order for him not to get lost again!

Even if you sold out the night before, if you know the next night there is a CONCERT at the venue next to your hotel, you should’ve had extra staff prepared and everyone on hands to clean rooms so check-in could be smooth. Lots of people had to wait extra hours to check in and getting a hotel room in time was very stressful. Staff was not prepared and that is not okay. Otherwise, the manager on duty on 7/25 did try his best to handle the situation and got us our room an hour and a half after check in started at 3pm. So we did get our room. But the room does need some updates, lamp shades were broken and shower drains were clogged, no extra bedding for the sofa bed was provided and we had to go down to the front desk to ask for it and grab it ourselves. Overall, the biggest issue was not being prepared for the guests that have booked months in advance for concerts but the manager did good in handling the situation. The other desks clerks were very rude though. Thank you. I hope you can work on updating your hotel for future guests as majority of fans who attend concerts at Allstate arena will book with you guys since it’s the closest hotel! Also, lots of Korean pop artists/groups do tend to book Allstate arena for their world tours, so please be more better prepared on Allstate arena concert schedules so there is no conflict in waiting for rooms. Thank you.

This hotel will nickel-and-dime you at every turn. They slap on a $30 daily parking fee, plus a $1 “village fee” and another $3 tax, none of which were disclosed upfront—not on Hotels.com and not even by the front desk at check-in. The lack of transparency feels deliberately misleading. If you value honesty and fair dealing, think twice before booking here and demand full disclosure of parking and other hidden charges before you hand over your credit card.

They charged me twice. And they being ignoring it.

Aside from walking distance to Target and a small range of dining places, I will give huge kudos to John at the front desk. He was supremely nice and helpful. The random cleaning staff I encountered were all very pleasant also.

Was convenient to be close to the airport. Everything was pretty much as advertised. The staff were friendly and helpful. Paid parking wasn’t a problem since I took CTA or Uber everywhere. The only complaint isn’t about the hotel, but the area around it isn’t very walkable.

Hotel is adjacent to Allstate Arena, super convenient accommodations if you are attending an event there. Bunch of dining options nearby too.

Easy check in and friendly staff. We were only there for one night and due to ability to walk to the concert venue it was the perfect location. We slept well and left early so great spot for quick trip.

This hotel was in the perfect location for the concert we were attending. You can literally walk across the street to the Allstate Arena. There's a full kitchen, nice bathroom and bedroom area. Definitely would stay here again.

This was a great place to stay while we visited Chicago Loop. Shuttle drivers took us to/from the O'Hare blue-line, so we didn't worry about driving. The breakfast was fantastic (loved the oatmeal). I needed new tennis shoes and Target was in walking distance. The room was clean. The staff was very pleasant to work with. Definitely recommend.

Nice, clean and quiet!! People on front desk very nice and helpful! My only complaint is about the lady working on the breakfast bar… she was rude and had bad attitude… she try to control what people take to eat. I wanted to take 2 cups of coffee one for me and one for my husband on my room and she told me I just have to take one because coffee is for everyone one and not just for me… I leave so sad and upset about that lady attitude…

We really enjoyed our stay at the residence inn. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly.The reason for only four stars is because of the breakfast offerings. Every day was the same thing with little variety and the only fresh fruit option was apples and bananas. I would have preferred an option of bacon over sausage and maybe an omelet station over dry scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs. The Belgium waffle station was really nice and I liked having that as an alternative or in addition to the eggs and sausage.

No variety of breakfast. Same food venue everyday. The breakfast was quite disappointing and mundane for 5 days. The sausage and ham were inedible and caused stomach discomfort to my partner.

Clean and nice room,but breakfast was very poor. No sausages, no potatoes, no bacon, only dull scrambled eggs and ham. Bagels were underbaked.
