Property was clean the staff was nice. The elevator needs service and also needed to be mopped and the floor in my room had dips and made noise when you walked. Sound like the floor was going to cave in. But it was a clean room and staff was nice.

Our stay at Best Western was good. The amenities at the hotel are actually very accommodating. This stay has a gym, a pool, and breakfast in the morning. The front desk staff were very helpful. Prior to check in they allowed us to leave our bags up front until room was ready. They also got us checked in early as well. The room was very large and was decorated very tastefully. I liked the incorporation of the northern Illinois landmarks into the wall art. The room was also very clean too. There were a couple items that had shown a little age, but it was nothing other than a little wear and tear. The lighting in the hallways appeared to be a little dim as well but it didn't affect the stay at all. This hotel is placed right near several dining and shopping centers which is kinda of an added bonus if you like shopping. We would definitely stay here again in the future

As the week end went on the elevator would sound like it needed oiled or maintenance on done on it. Wasn't real comfortable getting on it but wasn't able to carry luggage up steps. The staff was friendly. Upon checking in and getting to room, we discovered there was no information as to restaurants to order in. We were told "we aren't allowed to put that information out". The same with TV channels, the people at the desk were helpful in giving suggestions for restaurants, and she did give us brochures with information. The television reception was ridiculous, we had to watch in between the internet trying to connect. We also heard other people comment on the same thing. The toilet stool would actually rock if you weren't careful and the toilet paper dispenser would fall out of the wall. The chairs that were in the room to set in was crammed back in the corner and worn out. For the price we paid, we expected better.

The room was clean and attractive. There were low-carb options for breakfast. BUT... Our room keys didn't work when we came back from dinner. There was one coffee in the room so I asked the front desk for more. Her response was she would have to try to find housekeeping for more and deliver them. It never happened. The pool was not available, being serviced over the weekend. When we checked out, their records showed someone else in our room, us in another room with a two-day reservation. It was just one error after another.

Great 2 night stay. Hotel is fairly new; our room eas pn 3rd floor with luxury tile flooring & comfy bed. Slight issue with the wall air conditioning. It was plenty cool, but very humid. We did not co.plsin as both nights we were late getti g back to our room. I told front desk when we checked out; they were shocked to hear we didn't complain and said they would immediately have moved us. No biggie, appreciated their response. Breakfast was good, they have a little pancake thing that makes fresh hot pancakes instead of a waffle maker. Pool is small, but clean. Would DEFINITELY stay there again. On the main strip with restaurants & abundant shopping

It was reasonably priced compared to other options during the time we traveled and had a pool which when traveling with our kids is a must. Close to restaurants and activities. It was okay for a nights stay. However, the room we had was clean but floors creaked and felt off balance in places. Bathroom floor wasn’t as clean as rest of room. Bring your own toiletries. I usually travel with mine but I thought for one night I could do without but no shampoo or conditioner provided and only small bottles of soap. Not the usual. Room looked updated but not well done. And the reason I probably would try another hotel, the walls were paper thin. We heard everything from the rooms on either side of us, above us and in the hallway.

The hotel was great very kind staff and very clean the house keeping was great and even helped pick up after my 3 kids when we were out by neatly placing their toys and things along the counter for them. The issue was the hotel is under construction because the majority if the backside is torn off and being replaced due to mold/mildew and rotten wood/framing. It was open so you could clearly see the insulation and framing 2x4s being cut out and replaced from the mold/mildew/rot. Now its possibly a termite issue but didnt look like it. Also they had 3/4 of the parking lot blocked off for both this and having the parking lot refinished. Definitely need to ask if this is all done with before you go

The people were nice, but the property itself seemed to be new but in our room, maybe we had the worst room. The flooring was buckled and is going to need to be repaired. I don’t know if there has been water damage or what happened but we checked out.

Well I stayed there 4 nights and every day they keep on knocking on my door even if I put the do not disturb sign on my door.. and opening it and they say it’s the wrong room .. they’re not organized probably.. so far it was okay .. I just don’t like it when I’m relaxing and they’re trying to get inside my room I don’t know why…

The room was clean and attractive. There were low-carb options for breakfast. BUT... Our room keys didn't work when we came back from dinner. There was one coffee in the room so I asked the front desk for more. Her response was she would have to try to find housekeeping for more and deliver them. It never happened. The pool was not available, being serviced over the weekend. When we checked out, their records showed someone else in our room, us in another room with a two-day reservation. It was just one error after another.

Remote control would not work properly. It would not adjust volume or turn on/off the tv. And an alarm clock in the room went off at midnight. When I told the clerk about it at check out, she laughed. No apology…nothing.

Staff was great and very welcoming. Our room had automated blackout shades and that is a luxury at any hotel. Beds extremely comfortable and the hot water in the shower was the perfect temperature. The area is very nice and safe.

Our stay at Best Western was good. The amenities at the hotel are actually very accommodating. This stay has a gym, a pool, and breakfast in the morning. The front desk staff were very helpful. Prior to check in they allowed us to leave our bags up front until room was ready. They also got us checked in early as well. The room was very large and was decorated very tastefully. I liked the incorporation of the northern Illinois landmarks into the wall art. The room was also very clean too. There were a couple items that had shown a little age, but it was nothing other than a little wear and tear. The lighting in the hallways appeared to be a little dim as well but it didn't affect the stay at all. This hotel is placed right near several dining and shopping centers which is kinda of an added bonus if you like shopping. We would definitely stay here again in the future

Great 2 night stay. Hotel is fairly new; our room eas pn 3rd floor with luxury tile flooring & comfy bed. Slight issue with the wall air conditioning. It was plenty cool, but very humid. We did not co.plsin as both nights we were late getti g back to our room. I told front desk when we checked out; they were shocked to hear we didn't complain and said they would immediately have moved us. No biggie, appreciated their response. Breakfast was good, they have a little pancake thing that makes fresh hot pancakes instead of a waffle maker. Pool is small, but clean. Would DEFINITELY stay there again. On the main strip with restaurants & abundant shopping

It was reasonably priced compared to other options during the time we traveled and had a pool which when traveling with our kids is a must. Close to restaurants and activities. It was okay for a nights stay. However, the room we had was clean but floors creaked and felt off balance in places. Bathroom floor wasn’t as clean as rest of room. Bring your own toiletries. I usually travel with mine but I thought for one night I could do without but no shampoo or conditioner provided and only small bottles of soap. Not the usual. Room looked updated but not well done. And the reason I probably would try another hotel, the walls were paper thin. We heard everything from the rooms on either side of us, above us and in the hallway.

The shower is nice and housekeeping came most days. However the breakfast is awful. Packets of oatmeal, now a yogurt machine. Hot water dispenser never properly cooks the oatmeal. For these they provide "mix ins" which included dried apples amd brown sugar. That's it. The hot opetions always involve biacuits and gravy, then maybe powdered eggs and the thinnest bacon on the planet. I ended up eating breakfast out several days as I was so hungry after the skimpy options

The beds were comfortable the room was clean. I would recommend staying here. I would come back love the way you get your breakfast nobody had to touch anything to make pancake it was very clean where you eat

The trim was peeling off around the floor. The floor going into the bathroom was separated about half inch. Toilet seat was loose. Long hair was in shower and on floor in bathroom. Sri at front desk when I checked out couldn't get my receipt to print so after 3-4 minutes I said never mind.
