I was called around 5 o'clock to see if we were coming. We were stuck in Chicago rush hour traffic. The clerk told me we would be charged if we were not there by 9. I assured her we were coming. The room was pleasant, but we had to walk up 17 steps to get there - no elevator. My husband is handicapped and this was difficult for him. The coffee was terrible. The milk was warm and the breakfast consisted of pastries.

Clean rooms, clean towels and especially clean showers/toilets. Exceptionally quiet on the top floor all the times I’ve stayed. Little to none hallway traffic and I’ve only experienced very nice staff. I’m glad they enforce their no smoking policy so I never have to worry about checking into a room that stinks like nicotine. And I appreciate them being pet-friendly !

It was very disappointing. We were given a room on the 2nd floor and we asked where the elevator was the service desk had to think about it. Then said “you have to use the stairs, we don’t have one”. We then asked for a 1st floor room but he told us there wasn’t one & we would have to use the stairs. We tried to explain that we have a hard time going up & down stairs. All he could say is sorry you have to use the stairs. He wouldn’t cancel out the reservation so we could go somewhere else. We also asked about breakfast was he said “ I don’t know”. He seemed to just want us to go away and leave him alone.

This was a very nice affordable and convenient place to stay for a Purdue football weekend. Took just under 30 minutes, right off I-65, to get to campus. Very well-lit parking lot for security. Very friendly Front Desk staff. We enjoyed the big game room off the lobby, with ping-pong and pool tables. Room had fridge, microwave, and comfortable beds. The breakfast was well-done with yogurt, fruit cups, cereal, eggs, sausage, waffle-maker. Although I wish it had a workout room, it was a great location to run from (less than a half mile along road with wide shoulder, to Remington's streets, parks, fitness trail). A great value for the money, and we'll stay again.

It's very very average. Staff is sort of trying to be friendly but sort of depressing overall. Middle of nowhere. All of these would be ok had the hotel was sparkling clean. It was not. Mold on bathroom and room ceiling, low water pressure, very soft water cant' get soap off. Heating unit is very loud. Beds are sort of hard. Could hear all conversations in the hallway, and stomping above us. Then again, you get what you pay for.

Extremely loud throughout the night, not only by other patrons, but from dated equipment, so I only got 2 hours of sleep. My friend went to take a shower, and when he moved the floor mat, it dripped a black sludge everywhere in the bathroom.

Easy to get to, not far off the highway. The AC unit was quite noisy, but the room was clean and beds were comfy. Staff called and confirmed our reservation en route, and asked approximate arrival time, which was very nice as I knew my rooms would be ready for my late evening check in.

The walls are paper thin and I could hear a whisper. Fortunately my neighbors very pretty considerate. The light in the bathroom and the entrance to the room was out. I had to walk in the dark to turn on a light. Breakfast was good bed was good and all was clean. Service was friendly and helpful.

I was moving my daughter into Purdue and this was the closest, decent place to stay... 35 minutes away! Overall, it was fine. The room was very clean and in good repair. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well. The shower had great water pressure. The complimentary breakfast was average (carb fest with no protein) with a waffle station. The coffee was OK. I really have no complaints. I thought it was a great value. What was a little odd was that, apparently, Remington is in the Central Time zone... but they run everything based on Eastern Time... so the clock in my room was an hour ahead of what my phone switched over to automatically. Kinda' like the Twilight Zone. Staff was friendly and matter-of-fact. For a few nights, this place fit the bill.

I was charged for the rooms before I even arrived due to a system error, I had planned on using a company card to pay for the rooms but uses my personal card to reserve the room. I was offered no solutions, just an "I'm sorry". Will not be staying here again, I don't want to risk another issue like that

The hotel was old and out dated. The lady at the front desk was rude and gave us a very hard time about booking through hotels.com. I told her I have never had a problem or issues with anything ever booking. She complained that the hotel doesn't get all the money. I definitely don't think that was a way to do business. Thank goodness we were only in that town for one night.

Beds were comfy, breakfast good for continental. The day time desk clerk was wonderful. The check in person at night was awful and rude. She qcted like it was my fault that I found a doggie doo next to my bed. Actually wanted to check us out, give a refund and us leave. In the night with no place else to go. Unacceptable.

Excellent stay on a drive. All the people working there very very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast even had hot options like sausage and eggs. Very clean and we're very pleased. Right off the highway and next to gas stations so a perfect stop on a road trip!

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very nice. Breakfast wasnt bad. Bed was really comfortable. The only downside, and of no fault to the hotel: food options. Dont go in thinking you're going to check-in, sit down, order a pizza/subs, because theres no delivery in the area! Your immediate options are McDonald's & the truck stop food. Im not a fan of McDonald's, but its the better option. I was in a semi with a trailer, so driving the few miles to any restaurant was not an option. But the hotel? Great!

The staff was friendly and competent. The complimentary breakfast was certainly adequate to start our day. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were top notch. Do be aware that iPhone switches the time zone to central at this location, so if you have to be somewhere on Eastern time, (i.e. a Purdue graduation), don't rely on the alarm time of your iPhone!

This hotel has a convenient location right off interstate 65 and provided a comfortable and quick overnight. Stay for us as we drove south and as we came back north. We were also pleased that there was a great Mexican restaurant right next door.

Check in lady was irritable and abrupt but all the other staff we encountered during our two day staff were super friendly. We had two rooms. Both seemed clean enough but both had a weird musty odor that was rather off putting at first. AC was super cold. Heater in one room smelled like a burning hair dryer so we turned that one off within 10 seconds. The facilities were older, the carpets appeared to be older, bathroom tile grouting was older, and the furnishings were of moderate quality. Parking was easy. Breakfast was basic but good. Make your own waffles were very good. Coffee was good. Bedsheets were clean. Blanket a little thin. View out the window was a very tranquil farm. First impressions were not great especially because of the smell so I thought uh oh what did I get myself into, but everything else turned out to be fine. This is not a 5 star hotel so don’t expect that. I would stay here again.
