Best Western Manhattan Inn

Our experience at the Best Western in Manhattan, Kansas was very disappointing. After arriving for check-in, we were repeatedly told that our room still needed to be cleaned and were asked to return later. When we came back around 11 p.m., we were given the same explanation despite the late hour. When we asked for clarification about the status of our reservation, staff asked us to leave. We were also told that booking through Hotels.com does not guarantee a room. The communication and handling of the situation were extremely unprofessional and rude, especially during a busy weekend when all of the other hotels were already booked up. Where were we supposed to go in a small town and no hotels?

They over booked and had our our reservation since July the previous year.could not stay there Corporate did nothing for us. The guy and lady at the hotel were trying their best. Room didn’t have a fridge Breakfast was ok

Worth the price.

When we checked in, we received a room that was clearly not clean. Beds were unmade, dirty towels in the bathroom and an ironing board was out. I asked the reception for a new room, which she happily accommodated. However, we found cockroaches on the tv stand that morning. That made us immediately checked. I informed the man at the counter and his response to me was “what the heck!?” Very unsatisfied with our stay.

My room’s shower was not able to get hot. My room had no place to hang my clothes. No closet/hangers/iron. The bed linens were so thin it was like 3 sheets. When other doors closed it was like a bomb went off slamming hard. The breakfast was very good with lots of options but this is a tired property.
