The motel had its own parking and it was free. Free breakfast, too! Close by the shopping center and theater. Eating restaurants near by! Bathroom was kind of gross with mold starting to form in the ceiling from not having vent system for all the shower moisture.

The hotel was very quiet and the staff was very friendly. The big draw back was that the heated pool was not at all warm and the hot tub was not any warmer. The pool and hot tub were a total bust. The shower head in the room however was awesome. My advice ask about the hot tub before booking

We came for a softball tournament and checking in was super pleasant, even with them training someone new behind the desk. Breakfast was quick and tasty, the pool was nice (although I had to assist a yellow jacket out that couldn’t figure out how to get out of the doors the had cracked), and it was felt safe. My only complaint is that the bathroom doors are fairly noisy and the person next to us was shutting it loudly all night long. Overall, would stay there again.

People were nice but the room wasn’t. There were dirty socks in the corner by the lamp from previous people. Trash where the coffee cups were. Lamps where unplugged and the toilet was not secure.

I was truly surprised by the professional manner in which the entire staff during our stay. Everyone was polite and attentive the entire weekend. I might add that the property was spotless everywhere we went. Coming from the hospitality industry myself, I know a great example when I see one. Fairfield Inn Manhattan is the real deal. We will be back!

This is our go-to hotel for Manhattan, KS for the last 8 years. We have also stayed at quite a few of the other hotels in Manhattan. So in comparison this is the best bang for your buck. I will say though that it has been cleaner in the past. It could use some deep cleaning, up-keep attention.

We checked in and received our key. Went to our room and the room was not maid serviced from the prior guest. I returned to the check in desk to get another room. The desk clerk assigned us a different room, apologized and stated he did not know why we were assigned an subserviced room.

The rooms are not well insulated from noises in adjacent rooms. We were in a room that was connected, so that might have some bearing on how noisy it was, but we could hear the TV whenever it was on nextdoor. In addition, the couple next to us had a very noisy fight at 1:30 AM. I know that this is not necessarily controlled by the property, and I know that we stayed on New Year's Eve, but the noise level was disturbing. We considered calling the police.

It was ok. No hot water one morning, we also made several requests for additional towels, finally had to get them ourselves. Staff was polite, but offering a free market item when we just needed a shower with hot water was a little different. Overall a nice, clean stay and breakfast was good but no healthy choices.

I stayed at this hotel 3 weeks ago as I was driving thru Kansas. I checked in around 8pm and was gone by 8am. Today I got another charge on my credit card. After calling two numbers and speaking with 2 people no one knows why. Their front desk suggested to call my bank and contest the charge. Such a waste of my time and unacceptable.

Staff at this hotel is absolutely amazing. From the ladies that take care of breakfast to the front desk folks to the cleaning staff. They really take care of you and are super nice.

Dayelle Waugh was unbelievably helpful with us since we had to cancel 2 of our 3 nights due to a family emergency at home. She is what we love about staying at Marriott's..excellent customer service. Also, we didn't know the breakfast bar had closed and the staff person went out of her way to get us breakfast. Amazing!!!

Location is great! Close to everything, yet quiet nights sleep. Also enjoyed the Christmas light display less than a block away and a short drive to the Alma Mater, KSU! Will definitely stay again next time in Manhattan!
