Quality Inn Dry Ridge

The beds were comfortable. Hotel was a little dated but wasn’t a bad stay except the fact that the elevator was down and has been since 6/18 so had to tote luggage’s up stairs

This was a very nice place for the money. The breakfast was good and fresh, the room was comfy, and the gym had a nice treadmill.

The hotel was what we needed - nothing fancy, but a clean, comfortable place for 2 nights. Room was clean with everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and the sheets were GREAT! Smooth and cool! AC worked great, thank goodness, because it was sweltering in KY during our stay. Good selection for continental breakfast. Overall, a good stay. The ONLY two slightly negative things I could say are 1) the elevator was out due to a lightning strike and we were on the 3rd floor. Totally not the hotel's fault and they apologized profusely. They were just as frustrated as anyone while they waited on a serviceman. 2) we were late arriving and the man who checked us in wasn't very helpful. He just said "what's the name? sign here. Elevator's out. Use the stairs there." He wasn't rude but he wasn't welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 3 days for our anniversary week for the bouncer pass at the Creation Museum & 2 days arc encounter The receptionist that checked us in Tuesday afternoon was extremely patient & kind handling 6 others in from of our confirmation/ we booked on the road/ sadly I forgot her name ugh, sorry, she checked us out Thursday morning as well with the same professional attitude/ very respectable While we were disappointed about the Laundry room quality & equipment being close to broken (dryer) AUSTIN stepped up to the plate with cheerful service to rescue us getting these wet clothes dried, thank you Austin!! We did appreciate the room service making our bed & providing new towels, we may have reused if their was an option available? Maybe we overlooked it? We have enjoyed the charm of the old elevator with the bell … recorded it actually with the hand drawn fire warning … I personally enjoyed the gym very much The worst disappointment was the eggs & sausage every morning for 3 days, that was inedible & plain disgusting, whoever is in charge if that food budget should eat a plate Just no excuse to serve those 2 items, the whole breakfast bar definitely had room for improvement, the coffee was hit & miss on brewing strength Other than that we enjoyed our stay, felt home, loved the shower & hard effort of the staff making us feel like home Thank you again for doing a great job making us feel at home with the resources you had available We will be back GBU

Other than the elevator being broken, this hotel was very nice.

The staff was very very friendly. The room was clean. The elevator was not working and we were on the 3rd floor. Evidently it had been broken for a couple of weeks. No discount was offered.

Due to a lightening strike there was no elevator service. Luckily, we didn’t have much luggage for a one night stay. Our TV didn’t work and Karla from the front desk came immediately to fix it. Customer service was great.

It was a very nice room for a great price. It also has a nice workout facility

Room was a bit claustrophobic for 6 people and the elevator was still out of service. The whole stay was great! Great service, food, and staff!

The carpet was stained from the door to under the workstation to the bathroom. The room was dirty and dusty. I was sneezing all night blowing my nose. The condition of the room could’ve been better. The breakfast was fine.

The comforter had blood stains on them and they were covered up with a Duvet

Breakfast was very good. The hotel is dated but housekeeping was poor. Didn’t look like sheets were changed before we checked. There was a small hair clip and part of a flossing pick left from previous guests.

American ROACH was in the corner of the room, it was dead, so the cleaners just never cleaned it. Food was left in the fridge from the previous people who stayed. There was a pill left on the carpet in my family members room, dog food too and there was blood on their sheet. Stay somewhere else! They gave us $10 back of what we paid. That's all the front desk attendant said she could do for us, but that we could talk to the GM on Monday when he was is. Don't stay here. Super dirty. At breakfast the pastry storage container looked and felt like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. This place is so dirty.

The room was great but there was a lot moisture in the room. My phone had water in it. Had to leave it in the sun for 2 hours . Noticed mold on the ceiling.

Convenient location to the Ark Exhibit. Obvious moldy musty odor upon entering 3rd floor hallway and room. We discovered the carpet was wet for about 4 feet under the air condtioner. I mentioned it upon checkout, and was told they already knew and were going to work on all the air conditioners. So they knew, yet they still rented the room.

The room was damp. Smelled musty. My sheets were dirty. House cleaning was gone for the day, so i changed them myself.

Pros: The check in was probably the smoothest I've ever experienced. The breakfast was very good. We appreciated the shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower. Cons: Room smelled like cigarettes. There was fecal matter in the toilet. An empty Gatorade bottle was under the club chair. There were no chairs for the table. Overall, the hotel is pretty run down (bathroom sink was cracked, multiple spots where the walls had been repaired, plus that cigarette smell), but an effort has been made to improve the appearance (shower/tub walls were tiled, new carpet in the stairwell). Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Comfortable quiet nights sleep

The hotel was adequate. It was dated but clean. The refrigerator in our room did not work, but to be fair, I did not report it because I didn't want to be bothered with them fixing or replacing it. I would recommend it as a good place to stay if you want to visit the Arc Encounter.

Room was clean, spacious, comfy bed & quiet heater. However, it was noisy. You can hear traffic, people in hallways and walking above you. Breakfast was light on options, but did have warm eggs & sausage. Very convenient to The Ark Experience - quick on/off interstate.

The beds were quite comfortable, and the television had an incredibly sharp picture. The space between the bed and the desk seemed a bit small but workable. The in-room refrigerator made an awful racket when running but did keep things cold. While I only stayed two nights, I really looked forward to the breakfast buffet as it was nice to not have to leave the hotel to get breakfast. The dining room was well kept, and the buffet was well stocked and tended to. The 24/7 coffee bar was an unexpected "perk" that my wife and I enjoyed! Overall, the room was more than sufficient for my purpose, and I would book this hotel again if I were traveling to the Dry Ridge area.

Everything was just a little aged. However, the room appeared clean. We were also disappointed with the breakfast they offered. Eggs and sausage but no biscuits and gravy. Most people were just making waffles from the two waffle makers. Felt like they were short on some breakfast foods that would have made it a good breakfast buffet.

Nice size rooms.

Walls are too thin around the room , you can hear people shower in other rooms or upstairs. Pillows are uncomfortable ect. You can hear people walk around upstairs

This property is okay, it is outdated and the room my family and I stayed in just felt so muggy, running the AC to the extreme colder side made it more breathable. The carpet was old and there were cracks and wall paints chipped in the bathroom. The shower curtains didn't provide much protection during the shower, it constantly leaked out and the floor was always wet no matter what we did. The beds looked comfy but once you laid on it, it felt like the bed sunk in the center which made it harder to sleep throughout the night. This hotel was sufficient for a two night stay because the staff was courteous however with lack of update we will not be returning.

Front desk staff in the morning was “off-the-chain” wonderful.

Not a good experience at all, so much so that we didn’t even return and had to book a separate hotel for the remainder of our trip, losing our money because we were denied a refund. The place had a strong moldy odor and was incredibly humid, to the point where everything in our room was moist. We tried running the A/C to see if it would help, unfortunately it did not. I have asthma and my daughter is chronically ill so when we communicated this to them and told them we couldn’t stay in the room, their response was “I understand” and nothing more. Incredibly displeased and will not be back, nor recommending it to anyone.

We got there in the room and put our food in refrigerator and non cold stuff on table. The refrigerator wasn’t working so we contact the front desk. He replaced the refrigerator and that one wasn’t working either. We had our non cold food and reusable plastic cups we bought at the store and we put them on the table. When we got back to the room our non cold food and reusable cups that we bought at the store was gone. The cleaning people threw our stuff out and I contacted front desk but he said they can’t do anything about it. Very disappointed because we were there for 2 days and the cleaning people threw our stuff away. I’m going to contact manager about this. Won’t go there again.

Hotel is a little run down. Bed was terrible. Very lumpy & had a crease down the right side like they added a piece of foam to extended the size of the bed, from queen to king. Also they charged me for having an ADA Service dog which is against Kentucky law. We will not stay there again

Staff was exceptional. Room was clean Best value I’ve had for my money in a long time.

The staff there was absolutely the best. Super friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The ladies at the desk were incredibly friendly and perfect.

This has to be the BEST and NICEST motel I’ve ever stayed at in Dry Ridge. Very FRIENDLY staff especially the evening woman she WELCOMED me talked to me INVITED me to come back SOON. LOVED the breakfast and the couches in the hallway on 3rd floor. THANK YOU Will be back in March if NOT before already made my reservations

We liked the convenience of the hotel being close to the interstate and food options. It was comfortable and had a nice breakfast.

We were heading to the Ark Encounter the next day and we were right across the street from the entrance to the highway. Very convenient!

We visited the Ark Encounter. This Quality Inn was a very convenient location, just one exit away from the Ark and right off I-71. It is an older hotel but was very comfortable, good breakfast with plenty of breakfast seating.

Right off the interstate and one exit from the Ark Encounter. Nice breakfast each morning and very close to restaurants. Very nice staff.

Easiest, fastest check-in I've ever had. Room is very clean. Cracker Barrel within walking distance was a big plus.

The location of this property is perfect for traveling. It is immediately off the interstate. Cracker barrel is in walking distance as is a big boy. There's a gas station on the corner Walmart's within a mile as our most chain restaurants. Getting to Cincinnati the ark and the Creation museum were all a breeze from this location

The staff, every one of them, were not only courteous, but very nice and helpful. Great morning coffee and breakfast.

Property was clean and well maintained. We were able to take a walk away from traffic to unwind after a day of travel. Everything we needed was available. Good coffee and breakfast started departure day off right. Thanks

Mildew smell in the room was absolutely horrible. Almost inhabitable. Breakfast was horrible. Dried up frozen breakfast sausages with microwave eggs with dented apples. They can do better. I will avoid this hotel for sure.
