Hotel has obviously been updated based upon new carpet smell and fresh wood smells from furniture. However, some of the upkeep is not being done. The shower caulk at the base has pinkish bacteria starting to buildup, the pool was severely over-chlorinated and cloudy, the tile in the elevators was already chipped, the side door did not fully latch, and the cargo containers in the parking lot restricted traffic flow. Also, at check-in the gentleman in front of me was having issues with his keys not letting them into the room and one of our two keys failed to work. Breakfast was good but the breakfast area was a little small due to the large groups. The seating area should be sized to accommodate these larger groups since this is a hotel frequented due to its proximity to the Ark Encounter and other attractions.

The entrance was particularly blocks with construction trailers. Grass was not mowed. Internet was terrible. The noise from the remodel was to start at 8:30 but it was ,ore like 6:00AM. The room was not cleaned because we weren’t told we had to request it-REALLY. The best thing about our visit was the lady at the breakfast area on Saturday and Sunday. She was a real gem.

Hotel is in a construction zone right behind a fast food restaurant with the restaurants trash dumpster nearly at the hotels front door. Was charged nearly $30 more than quoted on Expedia. Hotel staff was courteous and friendly.

The beds had ruts from where too many people had slept. There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling over the shower. There were dust webs in our room over the desk. I see why it was being remodeled but since I wasn’t in a room that had been remodeled, I paid too much.

We were only there for one night, but the carpet floor was damp (almost wet) and we couldn’t walk on it without our shoes. Then there was a leak outside our room in the ceiling which made it difficult to get out the door. I expect better as a Hilton Honors member. For the price I paid, it was certainly disappointing!

I am not one for reviews but this place was horrible. The room was nasty with cob webs. Holes in the ceiling and walls. The tile shower that was supposed to be a tub/shower combination when booked, was so filthy. The entire bottom was black with mold. We went to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies and a floor mat because we had a toddler with us that does not take showers. If it would not have been so late when we discovered this we would have stayed elsewhere!! We checked out a day early and when my husband told the desk clerk her response was you will still be charged for the night. I do not recommend this place at all!

I was so uncomfortable in this bed, you felt like you were sleeping on springs! My poor husbands back is still bothering him 4 days later. The room was very dated and mold in the bathroom.

Great place to stay for the Ark Encounter. The pillows need to be replaced, and the temperature was hard to control—so I didn’t get a great night’s sleep. However, it was clean and the employees were very pleasant and helpful.

Very disappointed in this hotel experience. Our room door would shake everytime someone opened another door on the floor and it made it sound like someone was knocking loudly each time. This happened all through the night. The doors were not hung very well so the bathroom door couldn't close. There was only 1 person working the front desk during check in and just after so we couldn't get any refills on towels or anything else we needed. Breakfast was an absolute disaster. We came down an hour before breakfast ended and nearly everything was already out.

Our room was perfect. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights' sleep. Everything was quiet, even though there was construction going on. They serve a very good hot breakfast and the staff was very nice and accommodating. We would stay here again.

Besides the fire we had and waited outside for two hours nobody telling us anything. Nobody telling us where to go that was poor and nobody coming around saying what room were you in? We need to make sure everybody is out. Nobody did that and I was very surprised very unprofessional

The staff was amazing and so helpful but they are working with an old hotel that is undergoing renovations. So give them grace and a smile because it's not their fault that the rooms are old and the one we got smelled like a sewer. They moved us as soon as they could and even comped our first night. I regret that I was not as kind and understanding as I should have been. And still they were helpful. So do what I didn't and show they kindness and a smile. They are doing the best they can!

So many things that went wrong here. From the moment I tried to check in, reserved a 2 queen room and they had me and my family in a 1 king bed room. Was charged a premium to get into a queen room. Once we got into the room, the bathroom had a broken tile right in the middle of the bathroom. Tile would stick up and was extremely sharp. The shower drain was plugged and not draining because someones hair was clogging the drain . Was nasty. Was really disappointed with this one.

The hotel canceled the reservation I had made so in the end, we didn’t get to stay there as the hotel was already full. The lady was kinda nice but she had said we weren’t going to find any other place but thankfully we did at a near hotel.

This Hotel exceeded my expectations! We have no issues from check in to check out. The breakfast was good but the breakfast woman Debbie is absolutely amazing she makes it. She is the one who puts this Hotel above all in the area, the moment you walk in she makes you feel welcomed, what an absolute gem!. I will recommend this Hotel to everyone i know just so they can meet Debbie. 😊
