Elevator was broken. I don’t think the pool was working. Dirty stain across the bathroom door. Random black string across a bright white pillow. The protective plastic cover on bed guard is peeling. It could all just be peeled off to look uniform. I looked under the mattress pad and there was blood on the box spring.

All staff were excellent--very helpful and accommodating. The room had obvious water damage, with continued leaking near the tub. There was an odd brown spot on the bathroom ceiling above the sink. The heater, as well as the filtering system in the pool weren't working, leaving the water cold and murky. (The fitness center was under renovation, so the pool should be well-maintained for guests to use.)

They were in the middle of a renovation. We picked this place because it said it had a pool. Which we were not informed about it not in use. Pool was closed, ice maker didn’t work, a/c in hallway was unplugged, landscaping was partly done, and when we arrived ya staff member was annoyed that we interrupted him and he had to count his draw again.

Room was clean, smart TV available. Ice machine outside the door made significant noise for much of the night (even when not used for dispensing) - louder than a low volume TV - made sleeping difficult. Breakfast was good variety. Most staff was very courteous. The parking lot was one big sheet of ice - no no walkways for guests cleared. Without the ice machine and parking lot issue - it would have been 5 stars.

Breakfast was typical and good. Everything seemed clean and service is as good, however the pool was clearly down longterm and the windows appeared over, the ice machine on our floor was down, and the fridge in our room didn't work.

The hotel could definitely use some upgrading- it just feels rundown but it was clean. Outlets in the room didn’t work and the refrigerator didn’t seem to be working- I ended up throwing out our food. Breakfast was great and clean. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was closed which was a huge part of why we chose the hotel. My major complaint is that they kept saying my room number aloud . In 30 years I have NEVER been to a hotel where it’s not best practice to write the room number down and refer to it non verbally but when I asked about this both staff members acted like they had never heard of such a practice

Pool out, walk way not shoveled, snow and ice. All area were dirty, walls and ceiling crumbling from water leaks. Long waits at front desk. I honestly can’t believe La Quinta puts their name on this property.

Older hotel that needs a revamp. Pool was closed and green. The hotel was not as clean as would have liked but we only stayed one night so it was fine.

There was no one at the front desk when we checked in; we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to arrive. The room did not seem well cleaned - there were still suds on the shower door (which didn’t close properly) indicating the bathroom wasn’t well cleaned after the previous guest. The lamp had a broken fixture. The bulb dangled from the socket. There were stains on the carpet and paint on the window. I don’t know for certain but I’m not convinced the sheets were fresh.

Nothing special but the room was clean

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Room was extremely dirty, pills on the room, bugs walking around, stained furniture, dirty bed sheets, management does not care

The property was ok, i had to kill 4 spiders and when it was reported to the desk clerk, they said they would have someone spray and that never happened. I killed 2 spiders when i first walked in the room

Overall, the peoperty is very run down and is overdue for some much needed renovations. There's mildew that covered the bathroom shower/tub and cleanliness could've been much better for the entire hotel. The staff was ok, nothing spectacular stands out. I would not recommend.

The main lobby wall is nothing but mold, and the hallway tile going to the room's first floor is wobbly and coming up. The hotel room tile floor was coming up in the bathroom. The bathroom was dirty as well as the room. There was left over food in the fridge, the sheets were dirty.

Staff very friendly. Breakfast good. We did find 3 roaches in the room. We have stayed there several times before and never had a problem.

Needs renovating and cleanliness is terrible

My room was very nice. Spacious and had all the amenities I needed.

Toilets are practically sitting on the floor and difficult for seniors to use! No comfortable chairs to sit in Room was stale and swampy Carpet was dirty

The walls are paper thin and there was a huge gap underneath the door, you could hear everything clearly outside the door.

Bed had big dent in the middle. I Don’t like that

Room was much better than I expected. Modern updated vibe in room. Very clean. Bed super comfy; slept in. Suite was huge.

The room was a nice 80° to welcome me on the third floor. So before I even made it to my room, I could hear loud party music as I stepped off the elevator. Then after I turned the AC on carefully not to overload it, I found a nice stain on a pillow. I was abruptly woken at 3 AM to party goers in the hallway. When I left the next morning there were a dozen beer bottles in front of one door as if they had a powwow in the hallway to top it all off. I had to wait for breakfast to be served, which was only approximately five minutes after the set breakfast time.

We had to move 3 times to get a room that was decent. First roomed smelled like mold. Second room had a different weird smell. Some rooms were missing smoke detectors, there was damage to walls, doors, carpet. Breakfast was good.

The room was fairly standard and cleanish. There was a light smell of mildew but not strong. The desk staff was very friendly and check in was quick and easy. The room does need some repair as the bathroo. Mirror is falling off the wall.

Tiny bathroom vanity and narrow tub.

Property was fine, staff was rude at check-in. Front desk was on phone with a conversation going in ear piece and couldn’t care less i was there. Wanted to walk out before I saw the room.

The manager was very unprofessional. I was promised at check-in that I can check-out at 12pm. However, when I discussed with the manager during morning, she said no and told that she would call police if I don’t leave by 11:30am.

Amber is always kind and helpful ever time we come stay and they go over and beyond if we need anything

Swrvice desk terrible

To begin, i had made reservations 3 weeks in advance, requested adjoining rooms. Followed up with a phone call and email, told it would be no problem. Rooms were not adjoining, asked that they give us requested rooms and the clerk was unable even though the parking lot was empty, should have been a lot of rooms available. The clerk appeared to be possible on something, both rooms were booked with 4 people. So kinda obvious the pull out sofa was going to be used. Had sheets in room but no comforter or blankets. Daughter in law went to desk to request these was told they didnt have any. I went down and requested a little harder and finally was privided them. I went out fairly late for a bit, returned and room key didnt work. Knocked until i woke someone, they informed me while i was out, another family walked in on them while they were sleeping. Both of my room keys had been deactivated. Went to front desk and clerk nonchalantly reprogrammed my key but had nothing to say about someone walking in on my family. Then in the morning, my daughters room toilet was clogged. Went to the front desk and requested maintenance, was informed no one else was there. Asked if she could provide my a plunger and i could fix it myself. She said she didnt know where keys to the maintenance closet were, that she would not the problem. She did provide a plunger about 30 mins later. The milk for cont breakfast was outdated abd very soured. Service beyond horrific but most everything was clean

Excellent customer service from the time I walked in until the time I left.

This is a great place to stay, staff was very nice and helpful, and the rooms were very clean. Super nice Inn we will be staying here again.

The person that checked me in was very polite and made me feel like a valued customer

First off when I arrived the front desk lady was very rude, I didn't feel welcome at all. Never seen her again after that and I was there a week. Everyone after that was very nice. I was very disappointed to learn the pool was closed and that was the reason I booked there. I felt I should of got a discount since they didn't advertise it on there website it was closed. The room and hotel is in a need for updating. The maid service was wonderful no complaints there.

The absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had in my 62 years on Earth was with the front desk person that checked me in.

I liked it due to its close to everything I was needing.

Nothing unique, but a predictable chain hotel in a convenient area. Reasonable prices and free bkfst are great perks

Easily accessible from the highway and close to a variety of restaurants and store.

We had a comfortable night. We were happy to have a restaurant in walking distance so we didn’t have to drive anywhere after a long day on the road.

I was at one time, a nice place to stay. Now it seems to need a "freshening" and was a bit noisy...but then I was right next to the elevator. It is conveniently located.

Hotel was in a great location. Hopkinsville is a cute town.

We chose this property because it was located near the things we were visiting.

This was our last stop on our way home from a longer trip. It was a very good choice. They had the best breakfast we had encountered on this trip. It’s a little off the interstate, but well worth it.

Construction crews partied all night until 2 or 3 am Friday and Saturday - in multiple rooms and hallway on 3rd floor and in the parking lot. Can’t believe you put guests on same floor! Most of the time in the mornings and evenings, couldn’t find staff at front desk. Breakfast food was only on, not really good.

Rooms were very small. Bathrooms tiny! No counter space or hooks for towels. Basically outdated. Breakfast was disappointing. No eggs! Orange juice was awful! Selection was very limited. Had a horrible time finding the hotel! The directions on Expedia are not correct! It was not your typical LaQuinta.

Breakfast was good, though instant oatmeal is sad.

We arrived and there were bugs in our room. We did get moved to another room. The hotel was loud and the folks next to us appeared to be having women coming and going. The workout room was closed, and pool was dirty. Breakfast was not good, and all the food appeared to be over cooked. Staff were no where to be were off smoking outside. If I stay in area again, I will not be staying there. Beware of this hotel and stay elsewhere.

Very reasonably priced & full breakfast was excellent. Crispy link sausages & scrambled eggs that were full & not runny.
