Pool in disrepair - facility smelled - staff rude when I tried to check in - would never stay there again.

It was in a good location for us. We liked the availability of the pool and weight room. The room was clean and nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and games.

This is a really nice hotel. I’m sure when they finish the remodeling it will be even nicer. Really like the indoor pool, water was warm and perfect for water exercise. The complimentary breakfast is good. Excellent selection of breakfast food and the breakfast lady is super nice and very friendly. This hotel is our Lexington home away from home.

It was easy to access but the hotel was under renovation so there was a little inconvenience but nothing major. I would definitely stay here again if I need a room in this area.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Everything was clean and we love the new renovations, looks great! The Continental breakfast was nice, provided a lot of different selections. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. Pool area was splendid and relaxing. Only thing we noticed was that the patio from the pool needs an updated table and chairs, the one there is quite rusty. Other then that all was good! We'll definitely be back! 🙂

Despite staying during a renovation, this hotel was accommodating and clean! We enjoyed the warm pool, great breakfast and comfffffy beds.

The breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of options. The only reason I booked was for the pool and it was closed for repairs. Would’ve been nice to get a notification from mgmt.

Everything was great except the pool temperature. It was nearly unswimmable, which was incredibly disappointing.

This hotel is in the middle of a renovation. The lobby area is completely dismantled, there is dirt and dust everywhere. The temporary room being used for the morning breakfast was small, poorly lit, and no place to sit whatsoever. Not overly appealing, I went to a restaurant instead. Whereas my sleeping room was good the rest of the hotel felt dirty and unappealing

My husband and son stayed here over the weekend. Saturday night, my husband, who is diabetic, was experiencing severely low blood sugar; as the hotel was under renovations, the convenience store was shut down and there were no vending machines so he no means of buying something to raise his blood sugar. He asked the front desk employee if she could get him some orange juice and she said no. He asked for a couple of cookies and she gave him one. Would not give him another. He explained it was a medical emergency and she would not budge. He ended up eating sugar packets. He is normally better prepared but also expected there to be either an open gift shop or vending machines. Without those options, he was in a bind. This employee is in the hospitality business. When a guest presents with a medical emergency and asks simply for some cookies or juice to rectify it, why would she not jump at the chance to help? Is that not the nature of the job? It's not like a couple of cookies were going to break the hotel's bottom line. I'm dumbfounded at her unwillingness to help a hotel guest with a legitimate medical problem. My husband doesn't recall her name; he checked in 4/29 and checked out 4/30, so it's whoever was at the front desk at 2-3am on the 30th. Very disappointed by the whole situation.

All good except the floor in our room. Walking around barefoot and didn’t realize how dirty the floor was until I sat down on the bed and my feet were black. I had to wash off before going to bed

The staff was friendly and the the facility was clean. It was a very pleasant Stay!

Everything in our room was dirty and the whole room smelled like Mildew and was very dusty. It is very apparent that no one has moved the beds away from the wall to sweep behind it in a long time. The floors were dusty even after they swept them. There was food on the coffee table, food crumbs under the desk, a banana peel left on the desk, sheets were dirty, dog hair in the bathroom along with facial hair left on the sink and shower. When we reported what we found when we arrived (Dirty sheets, dirty floor, and the banana peel) the ONE employee working went up and spot cleaned the room and changed the sheets. We were very disappointed in the quality of our room. We could have changed rooms but the only available rooms were queen size and we wanted a king size.

Hard floors should probably not be used in hotel rooms on upper floors. We didn't sleep the last night we were there because of children upstairs running back and forth and rolling the desk chair all over above us.

Staff was friendly! Room was clean and spacious. Only complaint is that there is NO sound proofing…could hear everyone’s alarms, doors etc.

Polite and friendly staff and very new, clean and comfortable room. Complimentary breakfast was as expected. Some microwaved omelets, a waffle iron, some red delicious apples and out of season oranges and "fresh" from the freezer biscuits, gravy, and sausage. A utilitarian "Fuel Up" before starting the day. Several doordash meals were delivered while I was eating and I thought that would have been a more enjoyable option. The only real disappointment was the handicap accessible bathroom and particularly the shower. Steps need to be taken to increase water pressure or replace the shower heads. The main showerhead was a large rainfall type that may have been wonderful had it come out of the ceiling. However, in the placement coming out of the wall there was was not enough pressure to propel the water forward so instead the water dribbled down the hose to the hand held sprayer. Pressure from the hand held was acceptable but it was mounted lower on the wall and hard to position for hands free use for me at six foot. The toilet is somewhat accessible with the ability to get a walker or wheelchair up close in front of or beside it. However there is no grab bar to the left and the one on the wall to the right is on the other side of the towel rack and not very useful from the toilet. Overall the room and the staff exceeded expectations. The food, unfortunately, met expectations and the water pressure fell short, literally. Room 101, handicap accessible with 2 queen beds.

The air conditioner wouldn’t cool the room down so it was hot in there the whole stay.

Was very impressed with the stay. The room was very clean, the TV was huge! And the workers were very friendly. We asked for a quiet room and we got one.

I had no issues staying there. I would highly recommend it. It was nice and quiet. The only problem it wasn’t even a problem more than just an inconvenience. The mini fridge is on the floor and makes it damn near impossible to get to the bottom of the fridge if the fridge was a little bigger, it’d be a little better but Altogether I give it a nine out of 10 I’ll stay there again

Nice hotel with friendly staff

Shout out to Kim at the front desk and the breakfast crew. All of the staff was friendly and professional but those folks deserve calling out. If Im ever back in Nicholasville, I can’t think of a reason to stay anywhere else.

Clean smells nice and staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again we hen in town!

Upon check-in, was asked for a card but was not told it was being charged at that time or for how much & the amount and bill upon check-out was much higher than the reservation showed regardless of taxes and fees.. Bed sheets had hair and food crumbs in them as if they were never changed on the bottom. One receptionist was rude. Housekeeping did not check in daily.

Great place to stay w easy drive to ManoWar. Renovated recently. Good breakfast. TV great.

it was a good trip .. convenient to Asbury. Short trip to Lexington... Hotel in middle of renovation... they were handling it well....

Extremely friendly welcoming staff when we arrived late around 11pm. Nice clean updated rooms. Location was around 20 mins from downtown Lexington and a nice easy drive. Free breakfast was pretty good and lady running it was very nice and accommodating.

It was not clearly marked. The sign is toward the back side of the building so we were not sure if we were in the right place until we went inside

The property is undergoing renovations right now, but I got to stay on a finished floor. They're doing a fantastic job! Can't wait to see it when it's done! They need to serve bacon and sausage. Not just sausage everyday. Mix it up.
