Very nice lady at frontdesk. Room furniture was worn. Bed very comfortable. Very quite. Close to the Ark Encounter and a very good Mexican restaurant across the street from hotel. Parking is right in front of your door.

When we booked I picked bc they had a pool but when we arrived pool is permanently closed. Very clean room. A lot of starch for breakfast. Wasn’t what we expected.

I liked that you can park right by your door. The room was really and clean. Love the white linen on the beds. The coffee was really good! The breakfast choices were great. The staff was really accommodating. It was right across from Noah’s Ark our destination. I would stay there again.

The floor was dirty, you had to have something on your feet at all times. The furniture was shabby and dirty. The microwave only worked for 2 minutes and shut off completely and come back on in 3-5 minutes.

The bathroom is really in need of complete Reno. Tub clean but disgusting. Bad caulking that coming off and lots of wear in the tub. Floor dirty and needs replaced. Plug was laying on the tub floor. Tub drain corroded and stunk. Rest of the room was good. Like convenience to the car. Front desk was so nice.

It was a decent place to stay. I kept thinking that I was smelling something off....like a moldy smell. As long as the fan was going in the bathroom it was better. The mattress was ok but the people that worked there were very kind and helpful.

This property is old. It needs more updating. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom is extremely small. A large person wouldn’t make into the bathroom. The door barely clears the toilet. When running the shower the water somehow goes under the tile in this small bathroom so the floor goes up and down until the tile dries out. This was bothersome. Something obviously is wrong with this situation. The shower water though was always nice and hot. The carpets need to be vacuumed and cleaned, my socks got filthy dirty on it so I threw them away. The dresser drawers wouldn’t open without tugging on them which was annoying. The walls are very thin, we could hear conversations next door along with them snoring. We didn’t like that. Breakfast was ok but it was all carbs. They advertise that they are across the street from the Ark Encounter which is only partly true because you can’t walk there like we were anticipating. The Ark Encounter is way back against the road so you must still drive there.??That is a’littlee deceiving. We will choose another place to stay and skip this place next time. There are better choices out there.??

The hotel was quiet and good enough for the intended goal. We stayed 2 nights. We wanted to be close to THE ARK. The bed and pillows were comfortable .The room was clean but the bathroom looked dirty, because it needs to be re painted. The bathroom is VERY small. The room air conditioner needs work. It had trouble cooling the room especially after a shower. The bathroom doesn't have good ventilation and the whole room stays damp. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is "grab and go" and satisfactory. The only hot option is a waffle. Overall, a good stay and would stay again in future

plugs would not stay in the wall to keep the tv on, the air conditioner seemed to have a short in it, sometimes it would not work at all and when it did, it was extremely loud. bathroom door with paint coming off, no plug in bathtub drain. we ended up losing a night's stay because we were ready to go find something else. it was selected due to be walking distance to the Ark.

The walls between the rooms are very thin and we could hear everything from our neighbors. Our neighbor was talking on the phone past 1 AM. We asked them to be quiet, but they did not. So we tried to call the front desk since the description said 24/7 front desk service, but nobody answered the phone. The next morning, our neighbor got up early and made all sorts of noise, and finally left around 6 AM. We ended up getting very little sleep that night.

Excellent check in. Front desk staff was pleasant and nice. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Area safe. Motel was convenient and across the street from our planned trip to The Ark. There was also a convenient store within a short walking distance from motel (just across motel parking lot). It’s NOT a five star motel but an inexpensive and safe place to stay. .

We were checked in and in bed when the front desk called and ask when I would arrive. I told her I was already checked in. She was not nice and said that I must have made two reservations. We made one reservation through Expedia. I don't know what went wrong but it wasn't our fault, and I didn't appreciate her attitude. Not a friendly place.

They didn’t have our reservation that we booked with them through Hotels.com, so they had to work to get us a room. We showed that Hotels.com had billed us but it was never sent on to Sunrise Inn. They were very good to help us. The walls are thin so we heard the baby crying next door. Also another family was given our room so they tried to come in while we were sleeping.

We booked here for convenience to the Ark and for the price & reviews. Yes it is an older motor lodge, but it is maintained pretty well and the cleanliness was excellent!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative we really had was the breakfast, which we didn’t eat. It consisted of just waffles, muffins, cereal, boiled eggs, & yogurt. From other reviews, I had expected more, such as a meat, ie bacon or sausage, or eggs, and maybe biscuits and gravy. But they do say it is a continental breakfast, so it is just that. So we drove 4 miles to eat in Dry Ridge which had several eating options. But El Jalisco Mexican food across from it is excellent!!! Huge portions of delicious food at good prices! Entrees are big enough to share! Even though it is “across the street “ from the Ark, we were glad we paid the $15 for parking since it was unexpectedly raining, and it is quite a hike from the lodging to the Ark entrance. And be aware that the Creation Museum is in another town about 40 miles away close to the Cincinnati airport, so be prepared to drive.

Staff when seen was friendly. No staff at breakfast, ran out of items. Only one waffle maker with a big line. Crowded breakfast area. Overall not a great breakfast. Didn't stay for the second morning. Room was what we expected for the price. Well worn, but clean. Bed was clean and comfortable. You could hear the rooms beside you but fortunately our neighbors were not too loud and didn't get up earlier than us.

The staff was friendly. The hotel was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was limited but the food was good. The Mexican restaurant across the street was excellent. Their is a gas station on site. The best selling point is it is across the street from the Ark Encounter. I would recommend staying here if the Ark is your final or main destination.
