Check-in was the best part of the experience and yes the hotel was clean and quiet, lots of parking available. But the pool was not available even though it was a sunny and warm weekend, breakfast was scheduled from 7:00 am to 10:00 am and at 9 am they had already ran out of coffee, milk, waffle batter, fruits, eggs and other breakfast items. I asked a kitchen staff member for coffee and then it was filled, but nothing else was refilled. Only one elevator was working which made it very difficult to access the assigned floor or leave with the luggage. I had higher hopes for the hotel because of the location and the high prices but I guess that doesn’t really mean anything as far of the treatment or quality of the experience. Will not stay here again

When I drove into the parking lot about 8:30 pm to check in, a man approached me on a bicycle asking for money. I was not comfortable with this incident and feel the hotel should take action to prevent this from happening again.

The check in staff was very friendly but it took an hour past check in at 3 pm for a clean room to be ready. The restaurant next door has been closed for a long time and has 18 wheelers using for parking and that lot hasn't been cleaned. The woods about 200 ft behind the hotel parking lot looks like homeless have made a camp. Didn't go back there but noticed this while waiting for my room to get cleaned.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a good variety and different on the two days we were there. We were disappointed that the pool was green and cloudy and we could not use it. Our floor smelled of marijuana. On our first night, 3 maybe 4 vehicles were broken into.

Our room was very nice with the seperate seating area and the fridge, but our toilet wobbled. My grandaughters wanted to swim because the pool was murky and green.

Shower head plumbing was very unstable. We couldn’t adjust the water flow for fear the pipe would break. Only one elevator and the working one quit for about 20 minutes.

In town to watch baseball, hotel room was nice. Front desk ladies acted like they didn’t want to be there. Service was lacking. Bar was small and never open. Breakfast was mid. Frozen food heated up in microwave. I like to stay at Hyatt place and this location is definitely under par.

It was so filthy. Stains on the blankets, sheets, mattresses, walls, ceilings and floors. The bathroom was filthy. This was horrible for $600. It was disgusting. Please do not stay here. Service was good. Housekeeping was horrible. Took towels and blankets and sheets but never replaced them. Went to the front to advise still no housekeeping. I hated this. Also the water was lukewarm. I will never go back. Shame on you Hyatt.

The whole floor level smelled like weed in the evening. The smell creeped into our room. It was nauseating and disappointing that people aren’t respectful of others. I didn’t see management at all around to addressing the issue but then again they may have when I was not there. I don’t recommend the pull out couch at all. It was nothing but springs. The television also did not work.

The hotel was near the mall and many dining areas. That was truly the only good things about the stay. We were there for 5 nights. Our room was never cleaned or restocked. I had to stop at the front desk and ask for someone to take out the trash and give us towels. Only one of the fro t staff was friendly during oir whole stay

I reserved a two night stay but only stayed one night due to me killing 5 spiders in the room. After that I didn’t feel comfortable having my family and I stay another night putting us in risk of being bit. I killed the spiders with tissue flushed then down the toilet. I didn’t take any pics because it was too difficult to try and take pics while trying to capture spiders and record them….i needed them GONE ….IMMEDIATELY

The A/C in my room was making a loud chirping noise. Being that the hotel was at full occupancy, I couldn’t get a new room. Maintenance was called and did fix the issue. Additionally, the rooms decor is very rundown and needs to be refurbished. An example being that it is still using window units, not even central air with a thermostat.

The room was very clean and had enough space for my family of 5. The breakfast was very good. The only problem we had was the air conditioner would not allow us to adjust the temperature. When we called the front desk they asked if we wanted to switch rooms but it was so late it would have been a big pain to move all our stuff and kids to another room so we just tried to tolerate it.

Staff were great, had to change rooms because of , worse room location, 2nd room the bathroom toilet seat was broken and air conditioner vent cover was missing, couldn't adjust flow of air that was straight on bed. Front desk attendant saw that everything was taking care of both issues or they would move us to another room but it worked out. Also layout of rooms were also horrible, wasted space with large bar area and closet, bathroom faucet and sink was outside of bathroom stting in middle with no door.

I stayed on the 3rd flood. The entire 3rd floor smelled of weed. No vending machines or ice machine on 3rd floor. No microwave in room, mini fridge was not working. Not much water pressure

When we arrived to the hotel at 3pm for check-in. The front desk clerk said none of the king rooms had been cleaned yet and it would about 15-20 minutes. We decided to wait, and after 30 minutes I let the front desk know that we would check in later that night after we finished in town. She thanked me for understanding. We returned at our hotel at 11:40pm and were told that they no longer had a room available for me. All they could do was give me a walk ticket to a Sleep Inn 10 minutes away. The hotel they sent me to wasn’t nearly the same quality as the one I originally booked, and it was also not in the area of town I wanted to stay in. Will NOT be back.

I landed in Baton Rouge with my son almost at midnight and they called me to tell me that they canceled my confirmed booking and that the totally sold out of rooms. I made my reaervation on Tuesday!! I asked for a referral to another hotel abd thwy said thet counlldnt help me Terrible customer service.

For someone who has worked in hospitality (including front desk) the customer service was definitely lacking. They made it seem as if I was more of an inconvenience than a customer. I ended up cutting my stay an entire day because of it.

My family had to leave Houston after a week of no electricity and 100 degrees heat following hurricane Beryl. I reserved this room on Expedia and called the front desk to tell them that we would be arriving late and to please not give away our room. I was assured that would not happen. I was then called to be told they did not have enough rooms. At that point it was too late to find another room and we had to drive thru the night and arrive at our destination at 5am. When I tried to talk to the "host" she did not even attempt to be empathetic and remained blunt saying she had to do the same for 5 other families. Seems over booking is their norm. She then hung up on me.

They bumped us because they overbooked. Arrived at 830, didn't get a room at new place till well after 10 with tired and hungry children. Not even to a nice hotel, but to a not as nice area, not as nice hotel, and not accommodating our whole family. Crammed in a too small room. My husband worked in hotels for years, though this happens, not so many people should have been overbooked(huge line waiting and all got bumped) and hotel they moved us to should have been just as nice and vouchers should have been given. Won't bother trying to stay at one again. They ended up refunding us, but took us escalating complaint. We had used points and paid way more than new hotel was worth, definitely deserved a refund after all that.

The staff at this property is wonderful! The manager Tiffany is so knowledgeable and personable she really went out of her way to make sure that our stay at the hotel was the best. In addition, her front desk staff Becky, Q and Rhetta were all super friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice, quiet room. Our king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had lots of nice towels. There is ample, free parking. A hot breakfast was included with the room. Our location was very close to I-10 so it was easy to continue our journey the next day. Friendly staff.

Comfy bed, good location. Only real complaints were breakfast (not real eggs and no biscuits) and there wasn’t a tv in the fitness center. But breakfast did have a fair spread, including fresh fruit. Overall our stay met expectations.
