The layout of this property is horrible. Two elevators with 100 yd corridors. So if you like walking and carrying luggage, this is the place for you. The ceilings are so loud concerning the room above you. You hear every step for the whole night.

The room was quite big & spacious & quite comfortable. The service was excellent. There were a few issues. The main bedroom locked my wife in till we were able to pry it open. I also found a few bugs in our room & there was mold in the bathroom ceiling. Finally, the fitness center was pretty sparse.

The AC unit was separated from the wall at the floor and it left a 6inch hole in the wall- unsafe for babies who crawl. The internet was down so tvs did not work- maintenance was “on it”. There were Stains on the armrests of the chair, stains on the bedroom floors, crumbs on the room floor, leftover trash from previous tenant, bathtub was peeling and had stains, refrigerator was rusted on the outside, hallways stained and there were dirty floors throughout the building. Staff was kind and helpful and understanding in giving us our full refund. Rooms should be Checked before new guests arrive.

We were put in a handicapped accessible room facing a busy and noisy intersection. The furniture was old and stained. The TV remote in the living room didn’t work and both TV’s were old and tiny. The suite was very dated and unimpressive.

Easy checking, good parking, breakfast and cafeteria staff was good. Rooms were dated. Had a slight pet odour. I understand property is under renovation. Suit layout was good but smell of old or dirty carpet along with pet odour killed the mood.

Room was just ok. Cover for a/c unit barely hanging on. Furniture was worn and dated. Sofa felt like you were sitting in a bucket. Ice maker in fridge didn’t work. Stopper in bathroom sink was broken. If I was staying more than one night I would have requested another room.

I was awakened in the middle of the night by a very loud, humming noise. I called the front desk and was told to run water in the bathtub because the water pressure had built up. I turned the water on and the noise stopped. Took an hour to fall back asleep only to be awakened again by the same noise. The AC did not cool the bedroom. It was set on 65 but never got cool.

The front desk agent was pleasant upon arrival. The room was exactly what our family needed. We had a full kitchen with all needed appliances, full living area ,separate bedroom with 2 queen beds, vanity area and separate bathroom. Everything was really nice. It felt like a home away from home..

This might be the worst Hilton I've ever stayed in. My room's AC was out and it took forever for the staff to move me down the hall to another room. My second room was filthy. Looks like the facilities were nice maybe 10 years ago, but over time, cleanliness was not a priority and it really shows. Carpet and furniture was stained. Table top surfaces felt sticky and oily. The ceiling looked like there may have been a leak or other water damage. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything in the halls. Also its haunted. Do not recommend.

We generally love the homewood suites chain. This experience however was just subpar. We arrived at the hotel at 7:30 pm- check in is 4- and were told our room wasn’t clean yet and he wasn’t sure why not or what we should do until it was ready. Then another worker overheard and said it was ready he wasn’t sure why she hadn’t let them know. It was all just very unprofessional. Our room smelled so heavily of Clorox when we got in that my 4 year old said it smelled like a pool. My husband asked the next day (Saturday) if we could have a late check out Sunday and the lady at the counter said they don’t accommodate late check outs. He then explained the tv had not been working and she said she couldn’t have it fixed until we left. When he asked to speak to the manager she said she wasn’t there (of course). It was just not a good stay from beginning to end and I will never stay at this location again.

Hotel itself was nice. Quiet area. A lot of dining options in the area. Pay attention to your bill though. The lady that checked us in tried to charge my card for the room after I paid for it through the app. I’m glad I looked at my pending charges and noticed it while I was still there. The day manager got it fixed promptly and apologized for the mess-up.

My stay at this hotel was horrible and the service I received made it even worse. Cynthia, manager, provided horrible customer service. She answered my questions with a question and eventually hung up on me. I was charged a hidden fee and no empathy was shown. The hotel is out of date and not worth the money charged. I will never stay at this hotel again

I really had an enjoyable stay at the Homewood Suites in Baton Rouge. The homelike environment was so comfortable. One day, I stayed in and cooked dinner . Other days, I was out and about. I got my nails done in the shop to the left. I brunched at the cafe and deli to the right. One day I went to the movies, which was also walkable. The staff were kind and I was grateful for that, especially during the holidays.

Room could of been a little cleaner...found an M&M on the floor as soon as we walked in, there were some stains on the floor in the bathroom (looked like makeup), the extra blanket in the closet had a stain and the knife and serving spoon in the kitchen were dirty but the size of the suite was great, the second bathroom was a nice surprise, and the breakfast was good. Overall for an overnight stay for us just passing through was good.

The only cons is the furniture. Once you sit down in chair and on sofa you sink in it. The mattress not so soft.For breakfast the sausage was cold. Our stay was good and room smelled fresh and was cold. Both Receptionists very friendly.
