The stay was great. The new "paying for parking now" was a feature that I didn't like. Instead of being billed with your room it was a separate app you did on your own. Separate website! I had never had this experience at any hotel!

We were here for 3 nights. Arrived Sunday evening and woke up Monday to signage stating pool was closed for the day. I just wanted to lay out and couldn’t even do that. Staff said it should be open that evening. It was not. Tuesday had the same signage. Literally one of the MAIN REASONS I picked this hotel was for the pool!! Pool opened around 3, but had to pick my daughter up from camp at 4:30, so wasn’t able to get much use of it. Also had some dance thing going on while we were there. Overall not super impressed and most likely won’t return here.

I did not receive the room that I had booked, I booked a king deluxe suite and got a double queen suite. My internet was not functioning when I first arrived, they did fix my internet, but I was already unhappy about the room not being what I had booked. I cannot confirm, but I think the room I got was not of a comparable price to what I actually booked and was charged the same for less. My room was cleaned and stripped before my checkout time, so if I wanted to go back up to my room after morning activities I could not as my room had already been stripped. The elevators were very slow leading me to being late to meetings, and the hall I was staying on had food crumbled onto the floor for the entire last day I was there. The food prices at the bar were reasonable, but the alcohol prices were outrageous.

Marriott was a nice place to stay for the conference. Hotel's restaurant had good food at reasonable price, and I also liked the bar. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel, parking was challenging, there seemed ro be quite a few events at the hotel and those people that were attending took up all the parking spots from the guests. Parking on the outskirts didn't seem to be well lighted, so it's understandable people want to park close.

Nice property and conveniently located to I-10. Very nice staff Very disappointed to be charged for parking. Huge open parking lots; self parking and charged $9 excluding taxes. Free parking was mentioned on Orbitz list of amenities. This should be updated. Ridiculous to have to pay to self-park at this property!!! Will definitely reconsider stopping here for future travel.

First hay, the room mas not clean. Remaining days the housekeeping services were mediocre. When we talk to the management about why the room mas not clean, we feel ignored and not even an apology mas given ( or a form of compensation for the pre paid services not rendered). The only comentary by the top management was that they will investigate the incident. Completely unprofessional and taking advantage that the room mas PRE PAID. Certainly you expect more professionality from the Mariott brand.

Our second time staying at this hotel and we were not disappointed at all. The staff is very professional and friendly and the room meets my bougie cleanliness standards lol. We stayed here for the weekend while we moved my daughter into LSU apartment. I also must add that these rooms are very soundproof and that is super important to me. Thank you.

Restaurant food was not good. Service took way too long. Asked multiple times to have towels delivered to room. I ended up having to go downstairs and request towels and wait for them. Room was not the cleanest. Crumbs on table and floor. No pool towels available. It was not worth the money.

The room was nice, had ample towels etc. The biggest concern was the cleanliness/hygiene of the bar. We wanted to get a glass of wine to take to our room after the LSU game. While we waited for bartender to pour our wine a roach was walking across the bar top where patrons were. The bartender tried swiping it away and broke a wine glass on the bar. Not sure where the roach went but it was definitely on the bar side. Pretty gross considering it was a full bar and the roach was out in the mix.

Staff was great. Food at restaurant wasn’t great. The thing that would keep from ever staying in this hotel again is the noise from the highway and the strange noise in room. I was awoken multiple times at night as we heard our noises from the plumbing. It was awful. The shower next door and even our room was loud. I would never stay here again.

The air conditioning thermostat was not easily regulated nor considered accurate. The shower door was not water tight and water was standing at shower door and toilet after showering. Our greatest disappointment was the noise factor from the adjacent interstate. The building is not sound insulated. The traffic noise on the 8th floor was loud and constant, to the point of sleep depravation.

The internet at the Baton Rouge Marriott was apparently taken out by a storm two days before we checked in and we were not notified of this fact until we tried for an hour to connect to the internet and went downstairs and were told it would not be fixed for two more days. we should have been told this before check in. Also a new parking fee is being imposed there without any prior notice and could not be tacked on to our room bill but had to be paid thru iphone in parking lot.

The hotel was great and the room was good. Our only complaint is that room service was knocking on our door at 8 am asking if we needed service and they did that serval times. We hadn’t even had the chance to wake up.

Very noisy and the staff said that it was nothing they could do about the noisy guests that played music inside their room to the extent that it could be heard at the front desk on first floor I was on the 3rd floor they said they were paying to be there and could play their music. The music was so loud it made the walls shake and the bed I was sleeping in actually vibrated for the bass tune of the music that was playing it lasted until 3:00 AM in the morning I had to be up at 6 o clock so I only received less than 2 and a half hours of sleep got up with a terrible headache from lack of sleep and rest will never book a reservation at Marriott again

Great stay. Only complaint was house keeping began knocking at 9am even though check out isn't until 12. They knocked more than once within 15 minutes & opened the door when we didn't respond even with the privacy sign on the door.

Many of my business trips to Baton Rouge have me staying at this hotel, it is very modern and recently updated. The lobby is beautiful and the bar and restaurant are top notch. Room and bath are luxurious. Location is close to the best restaurants in Baton Rouge.

The hotel staff were so helpful. The restaurant inside the hotel needs better management. They were unprepared for all of the people coming from Scentsy World Tour for lunch. We had an 1 1/2 wait for food and drinks. I give them a 0 rating

Nice hotel and friendly staff but that’s all you will get. Charged me $4.00 for a small glass of milk to use for medicine intake. Really are you kidding me! Come on guys! I didn’t need a gallon. No complimentary beverages (coffee or water) Coffee had a Starbucks price tag for community brew.
