Elevators were not working (probably due to recent storm) and no coffee was available during breakfast hours. Aside from that, the room and property were very clean and all of the staff were very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Decent hotel. Bummer no pool or real outside space. If you are a breakfast person it seemed breakfast options were great during the week but by sunday there was very little to be offered. Gym was decent. Close to a lot of restaurants and shopping.

Staff was pleasant and rooms were clean and quiet. Small leak in shower and shower door was pretty but hard to slide open until it was wet. Room was on 3rd floor and eleator was broken for 2 days! I'm a senior citizen and would have been nice if I was offered a room on 1st floor. I would stay there again but would have requested a room change if elevator broke again.

We only decided to stay overnight in Baton Rouge for the kids to swim. We live about 2 hours from the area and was in town for a meeting. According to hotels.com photos there was a pool but after checking in we learned that the hotels doesn’t have a pool. I would have chosen another hotel had I known.

Upon checking in, manager Mary attempted to give me a single bed room, after I paid for a double. After questioning management, she said there were none left & then magically came up w one. Once we got into the room, pulled covers back...There was a dirty used band aid in the sheets! There was also a strong chemical smell on the hotel floor. I went to let the front desk know. There was an accimmodating clerk that possessed good customer service. Manager Mary did not have good communication skills nor did she address the problem with e me. I asked them to change our sheets. It was horrible that surrounding hotels were sold out. Lastly, after getting settled, a huge roach came out of the AC unit. Worst experience ever and I paid for it. My last time staying at that chain. My daughter said it felt like a motel that they tried to upgrade, she was right. Poor cleaning, poor management, and facility. Yuck. Spacious room was the only pro.

The young lady at the front desk was personable and helpful but the room was subpar for what I think of as part of the Marriott chain. Not to mention, the tub was dirty upon arrival. It served its purpose for a one night stay but definitely overpriced. Good example of paying for the name/affiliation.

The staff were very kind and courteous. The breakfast options in the morning were plentiful. The room however, left a lot to be desired. I could hear the room above me and all of the activities in the hallway. Most of the outlets didn't work. The shower door did not stay closed, leading to a significant amount of water that went onto the floor which I then had to clean up. The shower also had a lot of mold and was quite slippery.

The room was fine and the location was driving distance to a lot of restaurants and easy to get in and out of. The only con was there were several nights I was woken up by kids running through the halls after 1130pm. We've been staying here for the last 5 or 6 years due to we have doctors appointment in New Orleans but we don't like to stay in New Orleans but this place is slowly running down we stayed last night I hope no one stay in room 209 unless someone is with you because the bathroom door stick bad and you can't get out tv don't work beds or terrible AC don't keep you cool room didn't smell fresh like stay use to you guys needs to improve

The room needs desperate maintenance, water pressure doesn’t exist, faucet to sink was not connected, toilet seat not attached to toilet. Half the outlets didn’t work and out at desk was not connected to the desk, hung out of wall. Water damage on ceiling was so bad the paint was flaking off.

Check in was very easy and streamlined. Property isn’t as modern as other Springhill Suites that we have stayed in. It is a newer property, just doesn’t read as nice as others. Location to central to all major Baton Rouge attractions, and is easy to navigate to and from. Room was spacious however walls and ceilings are very thin. Could hear adjoining rooms, hallway noise, and the upstairs neighbors sounded like a herd of large animals all night. Breakfast was your typical continental offerings. Overall it was a good 3 night stay for my family of 5

I had 6 people in my party, so had reserved a 2 queen bed studio with a sofa couch. When we arrived late, I was informed that my room had been changed without my permission to 1 king bed with a single sofa with a single trundle bed and no cots available. Therefore, 2 of my party had to sleep on the floor. I was only given a $15 credit for the hotel stealing one of my beds. I have never had this happen before and it was simply unacceptable.

they gave away my prepaid room. I arrived at 9pm and I was given a less preferable room as only available. Also the shower tub did not drain. I would not pick this again.

The hotel's clerk kept his/herself locked away in the office with the door closed. I passed through the lobby multiple times during my overnight stay and the only time I saw the individual was during my check-in...and even that took her a few minutes to finally come out from the office.

I like staying here; the rooms are clean and comfortable, and have good (not great) noise control, better than most similarly priced hotels. Weekday breakfast is better skipped, but the lobby coffee is decent. If you aren’t traveling in rush hour traffic, it’s not a bad location to get to and from.

We had a great experience. Brenda tye breafast lady was so personal and enjoyablento get to know each morning. She did an amazing job taking care of everyone each morning and the breakfast experience was top notch.
