Our room was spotless. The pool was refreshing after a long day of hiking. Very close and convenient to Tanglewood. Would stay here again.

This is an old Motel that has been superficially updated. Mattresses are old and dirty, but sheets are clean. No bugs. Price is a little high for level of quality but lowest in the area for the season. Very nice but older kidney shaped pool with proper deep end, but outdoor area around it is run down.

My original room had a strong smell of urine. Outside the room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The staff quickly changed my room and the new room was much better. The pool is not in working condition.

Pool was filthy, super gross but we stayed for too short of a visit to really care. Just know that before booking. Besides that, room was fine and served its purpose to be a place to sleep in

My stay was pleasant. The property was priced OK for July. I had rented a suite which was nice to have the extra room and it was on the 2nd level which is my preference. The pool in the back of the motel was nice because it had both sunny and shaded areas. The room was clean however showing signs wear and tear that if these were addressed would make the property much more attractive. Please have coffee available for guests. I will definitely come back and stay again.

Property manager was helpful and courteous. Room was clean but dusty and wallpaper stained and doors evidence of damage. I wanted to swim in pool but leaves and debris was univiting.

No-one was available at check in or check out without a phone call. Clerk was suprised when i wanted to see the room before i accepted it. Only redeeming feature was the pool. In fair condition, but was very refreshing after 90 degree days playing golf

Good location. Nice property.The staff are friendly and try to accomodate your needs. False advertisement. Pictures online are not accurate. The pool was closed and probably not going to be open anytime soon.

Stayed here 3 different times in July and each room was a bit different. The cheaper I paid (AT Hiker Rate) the cheaper the room with harder bed and pillows plus smaller room. My final stay (reserved on Hotels.com) was wonderful with soft bed and pillows and plenty room. All showers were small but final room had a nice big tub. Pool out back was nice though leaves were needing to be cleaned out. Plenty restaurant options within walking distance including a grocery store. With smoking weed allowed in this state, several room with chairs out front had people smoking weed from time to time. All of them were workers from another country and kept to themselves.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was nice and peaceful (you do need to use the strainer to get the leaves out but that is easy).

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean.

The room and bathroom were very dirty and there was what looked like blood stains on the mattress protector. But the sheets were clean at least.

The hotel was filled with cockroaches. We demanded another room and the same issue. Manager didn’t seem to be phased.

My expectations were somewhat low given we paid less than $100 per night, but wow. The exterior looks shiny and clean, but the interior is a different story. Our room was terribly outdated, with ripped bed skirts, stains on the walls, peeling wallpaper, and mildew in the shower. The toilet handle was broken and the bathroom had a smell of urine that lingered into the room. During our 2-night stay, the fire alarms went off three times-each time due to steam from a hot shower in someone else's room. The fire dept showed up each time which is reassuring, but I wonder if this is a daily stop for them given how many times our stay was interrupted by an alarm. The furniture is old and shabby and there are not enough blankets to keep you warm at night (due to the cold air coming through the crack under the door).

Overnight stay. I reserved a room based on good reviews…,??? first room smelled so badly of smoke couldn’t even walk into it..second room, the bathroom was horrible, toilet had hair in it, seat was loose, kept sliding off.. shower curtain and walls had mold and stains and shower head was old with a white residue.. after a day of hiking I could not get myself to shower due to these conditions…

The place is OLD and certainly falling apart, but the one thing that cannot be overcome is the dirt and grime. They do not use professional cleaners and since taking over the property they have not replaced or cleaned the rugs that have been in the hall and rooms for at least 30 years. The elderly family members who are cleaning this place have either terrible eyesight or terrible standards. The bed skirts are torn and ripped all around the bed frame. The light switches and the doorjams are dirty with a build-up of grime from past guests. There was vomit splashed on the floor skirting next to the toilet in our room, some towels had food smeared as if they’d been used as napkins (the elderly cleaner is also cooking food in their apartment during the day, so it is no surprise). The cement walkway in front of the rooms on the ground floor is terrible stained and cracked. But back to the rooms. The curtains were hand hemmed, and done so crookedly. The toilet handle was broken. The timed-ceiling fixture in the bathroom had its heat lamp bulb replaced with a standard bulb, which sat high up inside the original fixture’s casing, revealing the cables and spider webs in the ceiling. In addition, the fixture over the sink is using such a low LED lumens bulb that the ceiling fixture is necessary for adequate light, but it remains on a timer. This a place where corners have been cut as much as possible. The biggest concern we had was that the mattresses were probably original as well.

The bed was as hard as a rock. And the room had a slight odor. I would rate this a 2. It was absolutely not worth the money I spent

Small Room. Terrible beds. Awful bathroom. Horrible shower.

I want to place to stay for one night that was in a good location and a reasonable price. This fit the bill. It was clean. There's no closet or coat hangers to hang up your coat. That was my only criticism. Otherwise it was just what I was looking for.

Inexpensive no frills option. Clean but dated bare bones. Smart tv, free WiFi. Good water pressure. Conveniently located. Family run operation. Answered my call for being locked out 2 am. Sorry for waking you up I would stay again for a quiet nice sleep.

Easy and quick check in, clean and quiet. Some furniture pieces need cosmetic fixes and the smart tv kept turning itself on, oddly

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT STAY HERE.I booked stay for MLK weekend,2 nights(Fri & Sat).Upon arriving Friday at approx 3:30pm,I spent roughly 30 min at property,enough time for check in & drop off of luggage.At approx 9:30-10pm,I returned to unpack & get settled.While unpacking,my GF was in the bathroom and discovered,a dirty washcloth behind the toilet,several small black pellets along the tile baseboard(assuming mouse droppings),hair on sink,& hair within bathtub.Upon inspection of room,we observed,visibly stained bed sheets with black marks/streaks,small cigarette burns(this was a non-smoking room),long blonde hairs on pillow covers,small dark hairs on sheet and bed skirt,& both living & dead bugs on bottom of mattress.I expressed to manager that room didn't meet standard/expectation of cleanliness & requested refund.He agreed to full refund, which he would do following day.We left the property for another hotel.I immediately contact Expedia via phone to express concern with booking & verify refund.They asked me to stay on hold while contacting manager on duty. Expedia rep stated that my refund was being denied by manager. At this point I returned to the property with Expedia rep still on phone. I asked why my refund was being denied when originally stated refund would be given.He agreed to refund only 1 night and nothing more.He also stated would not inspect room for refund until Tuesday.He stated room was checked right after we left and found no concerns with cleanliness.

Person who checked me in was very helpful, giving me suggestions of sites I might like to see.

Convenient. Wouldn’t work for me at other visits as I have had to check in late at night and the desk is only staffed certain hours but was perfect for this trip.

I needed a place to stay for just one night. Good basic motel. Very clean. Space to sit outside. One thing to note - the pictures show a cafe with breakfast - that is not in this motel. There is a coffeemaker, microwave and mini-fridge in room, but no breakfast. There are lots of restaurants in the area, though.

Clean and convenient motel in the area, easy to find right off Rt 7. Very polite and friendly manager, with very reasonable rates.

Free coffee was not very good at all. Not expecting much from a small inexpensive motel, but just mentioning it. The excellent Berkshire South athletic center and pool is less than a minute away.
