I made the right choice in this hotel. The bed and the pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The selection for breakfast was amazing. Fresh hot coffee auntie all day long. Although I did not swim, the pool water was nice and warm and the pool was very clean.

Not having at least one employee at the desk or at breakfast without using the call phone at the desk was inconvenient. Breakfast ran out of items and did not have time to call and wait for refills. Had to call phone even when checking in to retrieve employee. He, however, was very friendly. Room was fine, beds were actually pretty comfortable. The pool looked iffy and we decided to pass on using it.

pool and few things like tubs need to be renovated but was a nice family that runs it and was very helpful . clean and new furniture :). just small towels , i recommend bring your own towel as they are just small

The property was very nice. Staff were very busy elsewhere so the breakfast items were continually running out. The biggest thing was that the parking on the building side was very icy. The disabled spots closest to the door were sheets of pure ice. Very dangerous. We have had warmer weather recently and they should have used ice melt to get rid of the ice on that side of the parking lot. All the spots were used, so we did have to park on the ice. Very dangerous.

Staff is nice. Breakfast is good. Not real clean. Dust everywhere. Less than surface cleaning. Pool was Horrible!! Smelled weird, water seemed dirty. Scum on the inside of the pool. Tiles on floor of pool coming off. I hurt my foot on one.

I liked everything about this property except the gross smell of stale cigarette smoke that permeated my room. The staff was great, the continental breakfast was decent. The room itself was nice size, very comfortable. The only, and its a big one downside, was the smell in my room.

Front desk staff was polite and helpful, but the room was much smaller than any of the other AmericInn places we’ve stayed at. The biggest issue was the bed. It was clean, but was made sloppy, the bedspread was in poor condition, the pillowcases were worn the mattress was far too soft, had a huge dip in the middle, and horribly uncomfortable! We got just 1 wash rag, one face towel, and 2 bath towels for two of us. The front desk quickly brought up 2 additional towels, but we’ve never stayed anywhere that we needed to ask. We could have dealt with the watery, nasty eggs, but the juices and coffee were HORRIBLE! They were nothing more than lightly flavored colored water.

The hotel is in a great location near the interstate with restaurants, gas, and shopping nearby. The desk staff at arrival was excellent. The hotel has been updated in the last 5 years with fresh paint, carpet, and fixtures. The room however had a large hole behind the entry door wall that had been patched recently, and you could see the towel rack in the bathroom had recently been remounted. The damage was obviously not caused by the hotel, but by irresponsible and negligent patrons over some time past. I commend the hotel at the repair attempts. The only real fault I can place with the hotel is of the bed itself. The mattress sagged in the middle and it felt as if my feet were elevated higher than the rest of my body. The hotel should make an attempt at replacing the mattress, and assure the bed is level. The hotel is not horrible, but appropriate at a lower cost. I would however, avoid checking into room 302 until appropriate repairs are made.

Peter at the front desk has to be the most delightful and helpful person we have had the pleasure of dealing with at any hotel we have ever stayed. As he told me when I complemented him "it is not that hard to be nice to people." So true and that really put a positive spin on this hotel. Highly recommended!

When we arrived to the hotel the gentlemen at the desk was so friendly and also very helpful! He gave us information about cab service in the area, that was spot on. Room was big and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. A different gentlemen behind the counter in the morning who was just as friendly as the one the day before! We will use this hotel the next time we are in Hudson for sure!

The staff that was there the morning my kids and i were checking out were very rude. The guy the previous night we checked in, was welcoming. But the older Indian folks there in the morning were rude and by the time i was doing final check out they accused us of taking a towel, and then seconds later, said oh they've found it. Worst hotel experience ever.
