No dirty areas. Furniture and bath a little dated. Felt safe, not a busy area, close to various shops/Walmart/hardware/restaurants. Desk check-in was fast. No elevator so a good workout if you have lotsa luggage.

For a short-term stay, this was perfect for me. the price was right. that's why i chose it. The room was complete for all i needed. what i liked best about this place was it was clean and quiet. Staff was courteous. the showers were nice and the rooms were comfortable. plenty of parking. the breakfast was very good. outside eating establishments were not within walking distance distance, again, not a concern for me. the pool wasn't available but that was not a concern for me. they do not have a complimentary shuttle and don't count on Uber or Lyft to help, they are not nearby. i would stay here again.

Quick, friendly service. Check in and check out were quick. Hotel was great for the money. But, maybe the mattresses could be a bit more comfortable and a better selection of TV channels, as well. Other than that, NICE. Perfect for the money and perfect for pets!!

We were on the second floor, but there were no elevators, so we had to lug our suitcase up (and down) the stairs. The free breakfast was minimal, but satisfactory. It is conveniently located next to shopping areas which we made use of. It seemed like the bed was smaller than queen size--possibly full?

Older property. Staff friendly. Rooms clean. Parking safe with lighting. Heavy curry smell in lobby. Enjoyed microwave and mini refrigerators in each room. Appreciated sink and mirror separate from toilet and shower stall so one can be getting ready while another showers. Mattresses could use an upgrade. Window unit air conditioning, liked the ability to adjust the settings.

Nice enough place. One sheet had a few drops of blood on it and chair had stains... Breakfast had no hot food like eggs, meat or waffles. But plenty of bread, bagels, muffins yogurt and serial. But everything else was nice. Staff was friendly, AC was great! Price was good

Check in was friendly and efficient. Our room was neat and clean. Comfortable bed. The hallways were always clean. Very quiet, too, even with a hotel full of guests!! We were very happy with the two nights we stayed here and would stay here again if we travel back that way! Kudos to Hudson Inn for all that you do to ensure your guests have a comfortable and enjoyable time!

Very clean. Breakfast was just ok. It's the only thing I wasn't very happy about it. The receptionist was kind. The premises and the room were all in excellent condition. Every corner was very clean which is important to me. Also, Good size fridge and microwave in the room.

It was quiet, the rooms are small but seemed to be clean. For the price it was a good experience. The only drawbacks were 1. The breakfast was extremely limited. Just a toaster with some breads, apple and 2 cereal. 2. The house keeping came through our room even though we had a "do not disturb" sign out on our door. 3. Though there is no kitchen or restaurants nearby the whole room got filled with the odor of maybe onions being cooked, unsure of where it was coming from but I had a cold at the time and I could still overwhelmingly smell it.

Overall great stay. It was just a short stay. Had family coming in from out of town, and getting together with family in town but not enough room for everyone, and not everyone wanted to drive home late at night after a get together. So my brother in law and I split a room. The good: clean, reasonably comfortable, quiet (minus my snoring I'm told lol), late check-in, breaksfast smelled great despite we were in a hurry and didn't partake, friendly staff. The improvement suggestions: really only thing that wasn't perfect was the beds were very firm, and the A/C unit was a little tricky. But we made it work. Overall great place.

Booked a deluxe room with one queen bed, one night stay. Very basic breakfast but had some warm elements which was very much appreciated. PROS: room was clean, staff courteous, easy check in process. CONS: Deluxe room was small, the next door neighbors tv was very loud until late at night - luckily the loud AC helped to drown out the noise.

Decent hotel, is getting a bit aged though. Bathroom could use an upgrade and ceiling in there was questionable looking (mold?). Chair in the room had a bunch of stains, but rest of the room seemd very well cleaned. Windows didnt seem sealed very well; lots of outside noise coming in from the roads and neigjbouring businesses. Hopefully those windows arent bad in the winter. Not really close to any restaurants and stores within walking distance, but several a quick drive away. Breakfast was very basic. Was pleasantly surprised to see two hot proteins (scrambled eggs and suasage) the first morning there (a sunday) but nothing like that for the rest of our stay. I have to watch what dairy i eat so i pretty much only had a bagel and an apple for the breakfast, but they did have a couple cereal options and some yogurt for others. Staff was very nice and even though there was a line, they were quick to get us checked in. Overall not a bad stay. Hudson is lovely, especially along the river.

Check-in was great. Room was worn, but clean. Towels threadbare. Beds and pillows okay. The problem: we were on the first floor. After midnight the first night, i got up to go into the bathroom and got wet feet. Turns out an old recessed heating lamp in ceiling had leaked. I wiped it up and it did not return. I did not report, seemed like a one time thing. Second night i got up twice for bathroom, and both times i got wet feet. We looked closer and there seemed to be a hole drilled in thecenter of the old lamp. I reported it to the front desk. Instead of the apology i expected, i was chastised for not reporting it immediately. The front desk person was rude and made me feel like it was my fault it leaked. Will never stay here again, nor will i recommend. Additionally, only bagels and cream cheese. Yogurt, apples and instant oatmeal for breakfast. With Styrofoam bowls. So couldn't make in microwave. Coffee poor.

The front desk clerk was so accommodating. We were at a concert in Welch, MN and couldn't check in until 2 a.m. I called and spoke with the clerk who let us know he'd hold the room. When we showed up at 2 a.m., he had our key ready with a smile. The room was so clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Hudson is a beautiful town and this hotel was top notch.

Very clean. Breakfast was just ok. It's the only thing I wasn't very happy about it. The receptionist was kind. The premises and the room were all in excellent condition. Every corner was very clean which is important to me. Also, Good size fridge and microwave in the room.

This is an ok hotel. Nothing to get a 4.5 rating. We checked in on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We stayed 4 days. We were told breakfast would not be served because of the holidays. We understand 1 or two days. No breakfast all 4 days. Housekeeping not available till Friday. Seldom to never no one at front desk. If you just need a place to sleep this is the place.

Easy access from highway but not right on the highway so a little less noisy at night which was a plus. First floor rooms for traveling with a pet with easy access to grassy areas was excellent. No fruit available with breakfast so bring your own. The rooms were clean but mine had an odor that opening the window or running the AC could not eradicate. Property somewhat dated.

We were able to check in late (just before midnight) on Friday without any issue. Room was clean. Comforter was clean but worn/torn. AC worked well. Surprisingly quiet, Basic accommodations, basic coffee, basic toiletries. Breakfast had scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels/toast, yogurt.
