Econo Lodge Lee - Great Barrington

The desk person was friendly but the facility is badly in need of a paint job on the outside railings and new grip tread on the outside stairs. Also, the TV wasn't working properly and there were no operating instructions. Finally, the fan in the bathroom wasn't working. I wouldn't stay there again until the problems were fixed.

Pulling into the driveway of my destination made me think I was in the wrong place. Really run down motel. Paint peeling from upper railings and the torn awning over office entrance. This place is falling apart, paint peeling, garbage thrown around the property both front and back. I booked this place because it was pet friendly. I checked in and paid my additional pet fee and was given my key. When entering the room and I immediately looked around to see stains on walls, cobwebs/dust along the ceilings, a dirty bathroom (hair in the sink and tub), dirty toilet, exhaust fan filled with dust and dirt, dust covering the top of the mini refrigerator and shelf where the microwave sits. Electrical plugs with no covers or falling out of the wall. Room door with no seal along the door frame (you could see the outside from the inside of the room. I checked the bed for bedbugs with a tape pull and found none, thank goodness. I started to make calls to other pet friendly hotels to move to another place but, no occupancy anywhere in the area. Went to the front desk and demanded they come a see the room and told them we are going out for a bit; YOU NEED TO CLEAN THE ROOM! Also, no hot water both during the evening when we checked in nor the morning we checked out. This seems to be the pattern at this place because the people next to us also found their room quote, unquote extremely filthy too. The review ratings need to be reviewed for accuracy. I need a refund.

Convenient stay for one overnight-OK Considering the cost, the premises were quite rundown and in need of freshening up--cobwebs were aplenty on the staircases.

There was trash all over the area near the parking spots, the stairs to the second floor entrance to our room was unsafe with patch’s on the steps tearing off.

Reception area and breakfast area need updating.

Very dirty. Half the door handles are broken so the door is so hard to use. Very very very dirty crumbs in bed hair on the shower and mold in the shower. Their “free breakfast” was just pre packaged snacks from Aldi. That they charged $1 for. The building is falling apart. Stairs are not sturdy

Filthy, peeling paint, broken door handles and faucets, could not find any employees at the office for checkout, bugs in the tub, used Kleenex on floor next to sink…

It was very dirty and there were insects and cobwebs in the room. The curtains are falling apart as is the key to the shower. No one should ever have to sleep in a place like this. It is truly awful!!

The beds, pillows and linens were clean and comfortable. The receptionist was helpful and polite. The room was tidy, but dust on lamps and window sill, dirty fingerprints on doors and woodwork. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. Basically, the condition was run down and poorly maintained. Paint splatters on the floor. Black marks in the tub. We wiped all fixtures and switches with Clorox wipes. I would not recommend or stay again.

Plaster falling in bathroom. Floorboard molding broker. Paint blistered and chipped. General cleanliness poor. Bathtub enamel chipped. Breakfast rather poor. I will never stay here again. Seriously overpriced and with share my experience with others. This is an embarrassment to Econolodge properties and Hotels.com.

Property (room), was extremely clean! I didn’t know what to expect. But, I was pleasantly surprised and grateful! It really served my needs. Thank you.

The property needs some work, there was an odor in the room that really bothered us and made it hard to sleep, the shower hasn't been cleaned, and overall just really tired room.

Convenient to Stockbridge Country club where we were playing in a golf tournament. Rooms need to be updated, along with bathroom fan and new toilet

A few things that were not the best: the slider screen did not fit in its track at all and did not move easily. The air conditioner rattled and was quite noisy. I was quite relieved to get home to my quiet mini-split that does not make it hard to sleep.

Great space for the price. King room was large & comfortable. Microwave & refrigerator in room very convenient. Close to highway on quiet road.

Decent older property a mile plus from the Mass Pike. But the walls and floors have little soundproofing and the bed was quite hard ...

The bed was comfy, & the hotel was conveniently located for a night at Tanglewood. The bath was pretty dirty, but the shower was fine. It served our purposes for a night after a concert. Nothing special, but totally fine.

Just seemed run down. Sleeping bottom floor seems to be the worst, can hear any stepping upstairs.

Property was locates on a busy road. It was noisy. It is a average motel. nothing special. For what I paid he room was ok. Appearance wise it looked like it need some tender love care. It has maintenance issues. If I go back to the Berkshires again I would not stay there

Television didn’t work, outlets not functioning, faucet broken, floors dirty, front desk doesn’t answer phone.

They charge my card and erroneous amount would not refund it claim that they didn’t get the Expedia reservation and directed me to Expedia. This was a horrible experience.

While the gentleman at the front desk can be a bit cold, the women that work at the property are very pleasant. They were super accommodating and did a nice job cleaning the room during our stay. The room was a good value and provided a nice place for our family of 5 plus a small dog to lay our heads at night.

This property booked my credit card for random amount refused to talk to me about it and told me I needed to talk back to Xfinity. The original person I talked to which was the wife confirmed that she had my reservation. Told me everything was great. Went through the whole reservation and then the next day I get a charge and then the Husband is leading the conversation telling me I need to deal with Expedia. They are a horrible hotel

Friendly and kind staff. Simple and just enough for our overnight stay.

Rude. We had a trailer with us and we booked thru Travelocity. Did not even try to help or accommodate us. Sent us away.

Manager charged me 20$ for my small dog which wasn’t mentioned on the website. He also refused me a receipt bc I used Travelocity. He said I get the receipt from Travelocity. I have several pics of the burned toilet, the filthy room, and the hair extension on the floor left behind by a previous patron. Worst experience ever. If this is what I get through Travelocity, I am done with Travelocity.

Everyone was nice and the service was great

The floors were warped. Wifi was horrible. Hardly anyone spoke english so it was hard to communicate.

I liked the inclusion of fresh fruit for the breakfast. I noticed that the refrigerator/freezer had not been defrosted (much buildup of ice so had not been defrosted). The toilet kept making a loud noise every 10 minutes or so. So, the first couple nights it made it difficult to fall asleep. I wondered about the cleanliness of the room as I found crumbs on the floor. The manager responded well to my request for a stopper for the tub. This came about because on the first night I tried to take a tub bath and the water kept running down the drain.

Hotel 🏨 very run down ,needs renovating .The breakfast area run down ,looked unsanitary , toaster looked rusted & crutty ,not too many breakfast items available .For the two nights accommodations, I had seen nobody at the breakfast area in the mornings .Upon arrival at check in ,the office area had a foul smell. I don’t think I will recommend this hotel , however only a good choice to easy drive to the nice quaint town of Stockbridge which was considered a “joy”after leaving this hotel .Also wanted to mention , service not good as I had returned to the hotel one night and the room was not serviced . No clean towels replaced & trash was not pullled .I would not recommend this hotel

Very run down and needs a lot of updates. Window has streaks of black residue. Very run down motel. Staff was nice. The included breakfast was dollar store individual wrapped cinnamon buns and bananas. Bottke if two day old OJ and a pot of coffee.

There’s not a continental breakfast in the motel. It’s just kind a snack. Very pure options were offered.

The breakfast wasn’t exactly breakfast. A cup of coffee and an unidentifiable inedible baked good… Cheap and the bed was fine for a few hours stay.

The place is very run down and not too clean. They advertised a free breakfast, but it was really minimal. Only donuts and sweet things. Not even a piece of bread or a bagel. Over-ripe bananas. Coffee was okay. I did not have high expectations. For the price of the room, I only expected a continental breakfast. But it barely met that standard.
