I have stayed at this property twice for a quick and less expensive alternative to other properties near Tanglewood. My major complaint is that there is NO gluten free options on breakfast buffet, despite my requesting them both through hotel and Hotels.com. While this may not be a problem for most, those of us with Gluten intolerence get sick!! Other than that, it is clean and ok for a brief visit. Be aware there is no elevator as well.

On trips to Tanglewood, I stayed here when it was a Super 8. They have remodeled and the rooms are updates with USB charging, etc. My room was cleaned EVERY DAY! Reasonable price for proximity to the Berkshires. Great restaurant next door and Starbucks across the street.

Well situated in town of Lee, a quick walk to Dunkin/ Starbucks/ McDonald’s or a 2 minute drive to their nostalgic downtown with its tall-steepled white wooden church & strip of local, non-franchise stores including the excellent 51 Park Restaurant. A short (10-25 minutes) drive to the nearby Berkshire attractions in Stockbridge, Lenox & Pittsfield including Tanglewood, Jacob’s Pillow, various summer theaters, N Rockwell Museum, Chesterwood, National Shrine of Divine Mercy, Naumkeag, Wharton’s The Mount, Melville’s Arrowhead, & Hancock Shaker Village. Free parking & basic breakfast, recently renovated rooms on the small size. A bit pricey but above-average motel.

I liked the location of the hotel. The staff were friendly and quickly resolved issues. The AC worked great! Bed was comfy. Rooms were a little dated with some bits of furniture taped together. There isn't an elevator but there are only two floors. Breakfast was a little limited and things that should be refrigerated were left out (cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches).

The bathroom floor had not been washed in a long time! Just walking in and putting things away, the white socks were filthy, as well as the floor being sticky! The shower had mold on the corner part of the tub and there was short dark hair on the shower wall. Obviously, this was NOT cleaned! GROSS! Would not recommend this hotel!!

Breakfast options were good. Room flooring was filthy. Carpet hides the dirt and bathroom floor hasn't been cleaned in some time. Beds were okay but not made up everyday. Pillows were way too soft. Cost per night was reasonable for the area. Location was excellent for attending Tanglewood concerts.

Room stank heavily of scented room freshner when we arrived. Used A/C to clear the scent but A/C was extremely loud and rattled - woke us up every time it turned on throughout the night so we were exhausted the next day. Beds linen were stained - comforter and bedspread (see photos). This hotel appears to be in decline. Manager said "sorry" but did nothing in response to complaints. We will be staying here again.

Close to the Mass Turnpike. Just 15 minutes to Tanglewood. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy parking onsite. Bed was very comfortable. Man at check-in desk was very nice! Room could have been a bit cleaner though. Bathroom needs a more thorough cleaning. Floor should be replaced.

We had the fireside suite with large two person jacuzzi--the room was beautiful, romantic and so very comfortable---we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wish we could have met the owners or a person-----when we checked in--but I think because it was holiday week we were given a sweet bag and key with note.

Not a bad stay here. Check in took a bit longer due to the confused person ahead of us. The poor desk manager had a long line of check ins and a phone ringing off the hook and no help. The room was a good size and the king bed was comfortable. We had a corner room and the window facing the side parking lot was broken. It would not latch shut so it was letting lots of hot air in while we were blasting the a/c trying to cool it down. The bathroom was dated but ok. The drain latch in the tub would not stay down unless you held it so you ended up standing in all your dirty shower water. The breakfast was meh. For someone who is gluten free the choices were yogurt or oatmeal. I had both but it would have been nice to have at least one of the cereals be gf (like Cheerios). I am used to there not being gf bread and that’s ok. There was no one at the desk when we checked out otherwise I would have mentioned the issues directly to them. But overall the stay was fine and convenient and mostly worth the price.

I believe because I had a corner room closest to the street. I would ask for one more to the rear next time. Overall, a nice place great front desk person good location, fair price.

Everything was great. Room was clean. We were surprised the a/c wasn\'t on when we got inside (end of June). It was 80 degrees in the room and took quite a while to cool all the way down, but that\'s minor. Our only "complaint" was room service walking in our room at 930am to clean it when check out is at 11am. It was a bit of a surprise since I was right in the middle of getting dressed after my shower. .

Within 20 minutes of our stay we get a knock on the door. When my wife answers the door she sees a strange man, who is at least 20 years older than she is, who is wearing sunglasses and just says “want to come over?” She said “ew no” closed the door and I immediately call the front desk and tell the person working there, who is not the manager. He said that the manager was gone and would not be back until the morning. When we heard a noise outside the door 10 minutes later, we see the guy again and realize that he was staying across from us. He was staring at us when we checked in and did not leave until he heard what room number we were going to. He was carrying two trash bags. We told the man at the front desk that this man thoroughly creeped us out and the man at the front desk was indifferent, saying that it won’t happen again because he “talked to the guy.” Terrible experience. We felt unsafe and ended up leaving to go to another hotel. Very negligent customer service. Will never come here again.

This is a no-frills motel, but clean and comfortable, and an excellent bargain in the Berkshires, which can be very expensive in the summer months. Close to outlet mall, the Mass Pike, and some great little restaurants and shops in downtown Lee. We stay here when we see a show at Tanglewood and don't want to drive all the way home late at night.

Great location close to the highway, yet not right next to it. Short, easy drive to main stretch in town with plenty of restaurant options. The best continental breakfast I’ve ever seen with plenty of options. Coffee lovers will find a good place across the street (yes, that one). Quiet, safe, clean. It was a very pleasant surprise for a hotel in this price range.
