Waymore Hotel Spa & Casino

The room was big and clean. It was cleaned everyday and it always felt fresh. The people working there are polite and smiling 🙂 What makes me give 4 stars instead of 5 are the small things. There was a pool bar, but there were almost never anyone around. The matresses by the pool was a bit moldy. The breakfastwas ok, nothing to write home about. Boring coffee. The woman working at the egg station was really nice 🙂

The Waymore is totally updated (stayed in a remodelled room. This used to be the Veneto hotel) and they did a good job. My room was large, comfortable, with all modern ammenities like rainshowers, expresso machine, smart tv. The pool and gym are large and breakfast was a good buffett. It is only a few blocks from El Carmen station and I would stay again.

Was a very nice hotel close to the metro line. Lots of great restaurants around the area. The pool was closed for Reno’s but they gave us another hotel pool option close by. The rooms very nice and large.

This is a great place. Affordable and well located. The service is awesome and there is no Words to describe the pool. Also, if you are a póker player or you like to spend a good time trying in the machines (looking for luck) this is the place for you. Your pocket and your body will be gratefull of this choice.

pool bar was dirty. staff reluctant to wipe tables, floor etc. noisy hallways with children and party people late at night. great breakfast, zero condiments. maint./construction in room above. annoying sounds

Very comfortable bed, thick carpets, all good quality. Lovely view from the 8th floor pool. Would be great if breakfast could start a little earlier than 6.30am but otherwise perfect.

Stayed at the Waymore for my solo birthday trip. The room is quite spacious and modern. But the central air didn’t work all the time. I called the front desk and they promised to send someone to the room but no one came. Also at certain times there was constant fluctuation in the electricity. The lights would turn on and off. There is a free shuttle to Albrook mall that I was never able to utilize as I was not informed on check in that it leaves once per day at a certain time or that you would have to reserve it a day in advance. The breakfast was horrendous and the staff there were quite indifferent. The staff at the spa made my trip well worth it. They were friendly, attentive, kind and extremely professional.

Swimming pool was not clear. Jacuzzi was not working. Hotel was very good. Room is so good. Metro station is very close.

Jorge at the front desk was excellent. He was so helpful. King's cafe staff was very nice too. I wish they had a standard timing for SPA we wanted to get a message on Sunday they said the staff took off that day which was disappointing

Very nice hotel and very clean

First impressions are lasting.When you enter the property you are greeted quite warmly by the staff.However you can't help but notice that the furniture in the lobby has huge stains there was a large white sofa which was filled with mildew I refused to sit.My room however was clean and tidy with clean white sheets.Warm water nice bathroom & shower but you can hear voices along the corridor.As you exit the elevator and make your way to your room the carpet smells like an old movie theater moldy.The breakfast was good.The pool was nice and warm, the area has a lot of potential like maybe a few potted palm plants coloured lights in the water etc will make a big difference.Hotel location is good close proximity to a pharmacy, supermarkets, subway and McDonald's and banks also car rentals.Our television stopped showing and a technician was sent in less than 5 minutes to repair.Property has a lot of potential it needs some TLC those furniture pieces in the lobby needs to be reupholsterd and steamed the carpets need to go The conference area on level 7 was very nice and newly renovated . After breakfast I sat there on the new furniture and read a book.Nice ambiance.The staff on all levels were very pleasant and warm.But sadly the place felt a little bit like a motel

All the staff, the cleanliness, the room comfort and the bars and restaurants were first class. My only complaint is that the room does not have a fridge that gets cold. You cannot keep your own items like leftovers or cold drinks in the fridge due to its poor reliability.

This hotel is newly renovated with a great casino and pool area; however, the rooms are subpar. Upon arrival, our first room was missing a lamp and was not clean. We moved to a second room where the bathroom door didn’t close and the room was still dirty. Blood stains on the walls, hair, dust and other particles all over room and bathroom. I would come back for the casino but not to actually stay there.

the staff was good, the area was good. But I would NOT recommend staying here! All of the rooms absolutely radiate mildew and mold smell. I had to switch from the first room, and my throat hurt the whole time! Would not recommend!!

There was mold in my room. At first I thought I smelled it, looked around for it but the smell seemed to disappear. It seems that the hotel is aware of the mold problem but they try to mask it. Mold cannot be covered up when it’s in a building. It must be removed. Upon returning back to the U.S., once I opened my suitcase, the moldy smell hit me like a CAT 1. I asked different members of my family to smell the clothes and tell me what they smell. They all said mold. I turn on my CPAP machine to go to sleep that night, and my entire CPAP system smells like mold. You may not always see mold but you can smell it once you’re away from it for a while. Mold can make people very sick or even cause death. I will never book this hotel ever again. You pay for what you get.

The room was always clean and the bed was very comfortable

The room was so spacious, the bed and pillows felt so good. The property was so clean and the staff was so friendly.

I was assigned a big, beautiful room, an upgrade apparently, I didn't ask for. The air conditioning however was not functioning in a climate of 32 degrees C with 85%+ humidity. Took 3 technicians and 36 hours to feel a little bit of a difference. I was assigned to a room that's interconnected with a door to another room. I wasn't asked if I am OK with it. The neighbor was noisy and intimading, knocking on the door and trying to open it. Had to call security. The mini fridge in the room was as non-operational as the air conditioning. The hotel was crowded and at breakfast time staff could hardly manage the flow. Pool was at full capacity, decided not even enter. I didn't enjoy my stay and would not book here in the future. Many years ago, I had much WAY MORE quality experience with the old Veneto brand.

Walls were SUPER thin . I could hear the next door cell phone alarm. There was a fire alarm that went off at 3am in the morning. The fridge doesn’t cool. Stayed on the floor that wasn’t renovated like the others so the room I stayed in was not like I envisioned. Floors 13 and under looked and smell better. Won’t recommend staying there, it was mediocre being rated as a 4 star.

The ac was broken and it was vwry hot in our room. We told the front desk several times finally day 2 they sent maintenence at 10pm at night A part was fixed but shortly after before we could go to sleep. It was extremely hot again Other than that the stay was nice

Hotel was really great, lovely big room, we were upgraded too which was a nice surprise and very much appreciated. The room has a great view over some of the city, was very modern and clean and had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was brilliant, plenty of choice. All the staff were really friendly and helpful which is very important to us and made us feel comfortable staying there. I didn’t really like the area outside, felt a bit uncomfortable and unsafe but that was just me, we Ubered to all the places we wanted to go to as there was nothing within walking distance. We ate in the hotel restaurant every night which was really good food and reasonably priced. Fantastic stay and would definitely stay again

You could spend 20 minutes waiting to get served at the bar and then be told that advertised drink specials are not available by one bartender and then given the opposite answer by the next. Food takes forever and often certain menu items are unavailable. Food/drinks are overpriced for the area and comparable properties. Area is nice though, and the property itself is clean and in good condition.

I was impressed with the remodeled rooms. Very slick and comfortable. The front desk person had a long line when I checked in, so stood in line for quite a while. Could use an extra person on the desk at busy times.

La coladera de la regadera se tapa y se acumula el agua. Las alfombras de los cuartos cochinas, con pelo y manchas extrañas. La ubicación del hotel es buena, sin embargo, la zona muy fea (no está para caminar los alrededores).

Excellent hotel in good location close to restaurants, shops, bars, and the Metro just a 3 minutes walking. Very clean and bed soooooo comfortable . Luxurius casino to feel like in Vegas and with nice dining in.

This was my second stay, and I truly love this hotel! It’s very clean, the staff is always friendly, and the location near the train station is so convenient. Great value for the price—I’ll definitely return.
