rear parking lot flooded made it hard to park late at night. Ice machine broken on first floor, had to go to third floor for ice. Other than that it is a typical expensive stay !!

it was clean but the main issue the room i was giving was facing a major highway and basically all night long heard the traffic. I believe all rooms were all outdoors (entrance and exits of the rooms) in the summer I'm certain it would be ok but in the cold winter months its not great especially in the rain. For example it a 4 story hotel so you had to enter the elevator outside as well as entering the breakfast area and fitness center.

Pretty good value. Good shower pressure, practically enough to pelt your skin off! Breakfast had a good variety, though the eggs were a strange texture. The waffle maker was nice. The hot tub was hot and fairly clean, though the jets were so forceful and chaotic it was kind of difficult to sit anywhere near them. Overall, good value

Clean, comfortable, accomodating. Friendly staff. Thoughtfully set up. Pristine breakfast bar w great selection, comfortable bedding, great coffee available 24/7, lovely body wash, shampoo/conditoner, handwash, and lotion in large stationary containers. Amesome pool and hot tub. Sauna. Nice tv and good entertainment selection; easy to navigate. Great visit. Will stay again!

This Best Western should be called the Worst Western. The pictures used on your Expedia website are not reality. Stock pics must have been used. This hotel is very old and in bad condition! The first room they gave us had black mold. The mats on the picture near the air conditioning unit had black mold on it, the shower wall was severely cracked and the dry wall was a series of bad patches all over. We tried to call surrounding hotels to see if they had any vacancies but they did not. We went to the front desk and the girl was very nice and promptly gave us another room on a higher floor. This room was better - not great, but better. It did have mold on the ceiling but the smell was better than the first room. The positives were the area and the restaurants. We enjoyed our visit in spite of the hotel experience. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone! We will not stay at a Best Western in the future since we cannot trust the pics that are posted in advertising. We made the most out of a yucky situation but would advise to steer clear from Best Western, Kent Narrows, MD!

I wouldn't say I don't recommend this hotel, but I certainly wouldn't champion for it either. Our check-in was SO slow. We had a guest in front of us finishing up and another waiting to begin the process. I'd say we waited a solid 20 minutes to even get up to the desk. Meanwhile, there was a manager in the back not taking any initiative to help out. The lady who checked us in was pleasant, but mumbled/talked SO softly that neither of us could hear/understand her. When we pointed that out, she seemed offended and talked WAY too loud and quickly, like it was intentional. We had to ask to have her repeat herself multiple times. The hotel room was okay, nothing "gross," but nothing that screamed spotless. The bathroom could use some deep cleaning, specifically the corners of the tub and floors and ESPECIALLY the fan/vent. That was a cavern for clumps of dust and who knows what critters. Luckily, I shared the cost of this room. If I had paid for this myself, I would have been less than pleased.

We had an enjoyable stay which I feel was largely luck. We were on the 4th floor and it appeared mostly empty. That said, the walls are quite thin and on the first night we had a rowdy group next to us yelling in the middle of the night. Overall the room was clean and comfortable without any frills.

The bed comfort was ok. It wasn’t the absolute best but I was comfortable and slept well. There was hair in the a few places in the bathroom and my tub was acting strange but we managed.

After taking a shower the following morning the tub was filling up and would not drain. There was hair and other nasty debris floating in the water. After it drained I took a picture of the tub and all the nasty dirt in it.absolutely disgusting

While the folks at the front desk were incredibly nice and friendly, the accommodations were well below par. We reserved two evenings; however, the place was so dirty my wife did not wish to stay the second evening. Best Western refused to refund the unused second evening. That is not how you conduct business. Will never stay at Best Western again.

The hotel was clean. Dated but they did a good job with what they could do updating it. The bed was comfortable. It did sag a little bit in the middle, but it didn’t affect our sleep. We could hear the people next to us as if they were in the same room when they talked, but that didn’t disturb us at night. The only part that was difficult was dealing with Hotels.com. It was nonrefundable at this hotel. So buying insurance didn’t do us any good. We had to cancel first then try to get it back. Slim chance of that happening. We couldn’t even switch from a king to two queen beds since we booked through Hotels.com. Then we get our bill from the hotel and it was $80 less than what Hotels.com charged us. We called and the rep from Hotels.com said it’s the price they charged us at the time we made the booking and that’s what we had to pay even though the price went down. No refund no credit. I will never go through Hotels.com again to book a room. They obviously don’t give you the best price available. We will go directly to the hotel to book from now on.

The online room photos are misleading. If you book a bay view room your getting a room with a view of the bay way off in the distance. They say the rooms have balcony’s, but these “balconies” are not private and are actually in front of your rooms. The photos of the rooms are taken at angles to make them seem much larger than what they are.

The place is fine, nothing special. It was clean, and the one desk person was nice enough. The hotel backs to a major highway with some road noise and had a couple sirens at night. Overall, it was ok but there was one shady thing. They move their check-in time to 4. Most places are 3 in my experience. It must just be a coincidence that all the others in the area are 3:00. Oh, and to check-in at 3 here, it's $25. This place is the Spirit Air of Kent Island hotels.

Nothing unique. Problem with service. Went to wash my face 1st day we arrived,sink was stopped up. Called desk and said they couldn't take care of it until the morning. Said someone would be there between 8 and 9 am. So at 11:00 I called to see when the mechanic would be there. Apparently no one reported the problem the night before. They told me someone would be there immediately. After waiting an additional hour I went downstairs to complain. Seems the communication with the mechanics was a problem. They finally showed up at 1:00 pm. Sheets were horrible they felt like sandpaper. Room was reserved for 4 people for 3 nights and only towels for 3 people were in room. Don’t think we'll be staying here again!!! Not a happy camper!!!

It's 4:10 am Sunday 3/30/2025 & I am still not able sleep because a party is going on at the hotel & the staff will do mothing about it. People have been praying loud music & in the parking lot yelling since at least 10:30 pm. I contacted the hotel office with this complaint & NOTHING has been done & there has been no response to my complaint. I demand a full fefund!

We arrived at 2:48 PM and were told that we would have to pay a $25 early check in fee, even though check n is at 3:00 PM. This made me feel unwelcome due to us being only 12 minutes early. Seemed like they were trying to get extra money out of me. The rest of the stay was better.

Very nice front desk employees! Excellent service when our tv didn’t work. Fixed in 5 min! Very clean! Lots of towels and nice toiletries. Comfortable mattress and pillows! Heat worked nicely! Very cozy feel! Indoor was extremely clean and warm! The hotel played Christmas music in the pool area, very nice! No issues at all! Wonderful!!!

Got charged an "early entry" fee and that was never mentioned in either expedia or hotel web site The room was ready and i have stYed at many hotels but was never charged for showing up early. If the room was ready, why cant I use it. NO ELSE IS! Never again at BEST WESTERN

Wonderful and friendly front desk. Free breakfast was full of choices and the person helping in the breakfast section was very helpful, friendly and kept it well stocked and clean. The bed, not that comfortable and that is a main thing for me.

The room at check in was very clean. This property is next to a highway with poor sound proofing in the rooms. Trucks traveling down the highway all night made for tough sleeping. Housekeeping was an uphill battle. We were staying for a week and despite daily requests/complaints and being told each day the room would be cleaned, we did not get housekeeping until 5 days after check in.

Reception was very rude. Arrived at 2:30 and was told I’d be charged $25 for early checkin. Receptionist didn’t get out of her chair and barely looked up. Then when I checked in and asked for a ground floor room was told that I booked a queen bed on the highway side on the 2nd floor, which was nonsense. The booking thru Hotels.com simply said Queen bed. Unnecessarily not accommodating. On top of that was bitten multiple times by what I assume was mosquitos at night. I’ll sleep in my car before I stay in this hotel again.

The location was convienent to activities we were doing but the location is right next to the highway and the backside, which is where our room was, was really noisy all night from traffic. The hotel itself was clean and had a nice breakfast and that area was clean.
