This is not your standard Holiday Inn Express. The outdoor pool is right next to the private pier with a wonderful private inlet on the island. It really does feel like a resort when you're sitting in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the grass and water inlet watching great blue herons stalking fish at dusk.

We stayed for 2 nights with 2 teenagers and a dog. Close to restaurants and entertainment. The view was beautiful and the pool was great. Breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety both days. Water refill station is a bonus! Bike rentals onsite were great for the kids.

This is a solid hotel with breakfast included and coffee available all day. The staff were all very friendly. The pool was small, but the area around was very pleasant. We also enjoyed the nearby trail for biking/hiking. Several great restaurants within a 5 minute drive. We did not get any housekeeping on our second (of 3) day there.

Good for 1-2 nights, clean room, typical breakfast for this kind of hotel. Nice outdoor space but the pool area and tables need to have an exterminator, there are huge spiders EVERYWHERE. You doing see them at first, but they come out from under chairs etc - very scary if you don't like spiders!

Very disappointed with the condition of the room. Upon check in we confirmed Housekeeping was daily but only received 6 of 9 nights of housekeeping and even when done, details were missed every time. The toilet leaked making noise all night, the bathroom vent was not working properly so our room stunk each time we used the toilet, and there were ants in the bathroom. We complained to desk the first day and were told "We really don't have a maintenance person or maintenance staff" but the GM will be in tomorrow and will take care of it. 9 days later, the vent still did not work, the toilet continued to leak, and we continued to share the room with insects. At an average rate of $345.00 per night, this property is not worth the price.Go to a lower priced/rated property and get the same for less or step up to a higher priced/rated property and get what you are paying for. For what you are getting here, it is a waste of money. Clearly this property is not being cared for and no one is monitoring housekeeping to insure that they are doing their job correctly.

The waterfront rooms have such a beautiful view! I was very impressed with the cleanliness. The check in was smooth and fast. I had some extremely noisy people above me but the hotel staff were very considerate and provided compensation for the disturbance. They were very professional.

The fan did not seem to work so the room was a bit stuffy and noise from the room above at 5AM was annoying. A person walking back & forth was very loud . Next time I would ask for atop floor. Location is great, property is well maintained and the staff members were welcoming and helpful.

House TV system absolutely sucks. For the technically inclided: On most channels the original HD signal has been improperly down converted to SD. During that process the sides of the picture are cut off. Then it is converted to analog which makes the picture even fuzzier. Finally the room TV is set to stretch analog channels out from 3:4 to 16:9. That makes people look very fat and soccer balls look like footballs! PS The spectrum space saved by doing digital properly can be used for "extra value" services such as Pay Per View. Fortunately I don't watch much TV when I travel. The rest of the place was at least OK.

Right on water! Walkable to marinas and quite a few waterfront restaurants. About 30 minutes from Annapolis. Great sunsets. Great for boaters but not much else to do. Great one night stop off place if traveling through.

Easy to find and get to. Surrounding area was safe to walk over to restaurants/docks in evening too. Rooms clean, great views of the water, comfortable bed/pillows. Rooms come with DOVE products--very nice! Great hot breakfast w/ a variety of selections. Definitely will stay here again.

Loved the location. our room looked out over the water. we saw osprey and other birds. the hotel is right on the bike trail so it's great for riding as well. we stayed here to participate in the bikes and beer ride that left from Cult classic brewery which is very close. we ate dinner at the crab shack that sits on the dock on the other side of rt 50. delicious crab sandwich and frozen drinks. Highly recommend for the location and views.

The hotel is updated and clean. The only downside was breakfast area where I saw the attendant put his hand in the trash then went over to the pancake maker to service the machine without changing his gloves and washing his hands. The food area countertops could have been wiped more often.
