Perfect for our needs. Beds were comfortable. Loved our little patio which we took advantage of. Check-in was very easy and our receptionist was very kind, welcoming and professional. I wish the coffee was free to hotel guests and not Starbucks!

I loved the Gym area, it was very clean, and the free weight goes up to 50lbs. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich from the front restaurant, and it was delicious and reasonable price. Overall, my stay at the Courtyard Marriott was amazing thank you!

The hotel was quiet and comfortable. The housekeeping was spotty. No ice machines (that worked) so front desk persons had to provide ice from the Bistro. Unless you have a car there is nothing within walking distance (unless you enjoy walking in 95 degree heat. You're better off staying at the Downtown Silver Spring Courtyard.

i didn't like so much this place, the elevator not so easy to excess to far a way from the lobby no direction or signs of room on each floor over clean and find to stay.

The room smelled fantastic and clean. I went to take a shower and there was some black hair in the corner. My house keeper said she would take care of cleaning the shower and she did. After that incident everything was wonderful. Very comfortable beds, nice staff.

Everything was great. Bed was comfortable and the front desk check in was so pleasant. I have only one thing. When taking a shower(and the shower was great mind you) I looked up and brown mold was all over the ceiling. The ceiling are really high- so I imagine it’s hard to get up there without a ladder- but honest- that is the only thing but it kinda skeezed me out a bit. Perfect place- everything neat as a pin and I just had to look up…..

The staff is great. The rooms are nice. We did have an issue w the broken thermometer in room and it was a pain . A nice woman tried to fix it but we ended up needing to change rooms. The only thing you really need is microwaves in the rooms and longer hours at cafe!

photos are definitely better than the actual condition. this is an old hotel (popcorn ceilings, etc) that has been renovated, but it's showing it's age. The HVAC had no deadband on the temperature setting, so it was either running the AC or the heat--nothing in between...but it also had an motion sensor, so the HVAC seemed to turn off when we weren't regularly walking past it (like at night). There was no option to let the fan run (without AC), and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so the bathroom smelled mildewy. One pillow had some gross mildew-like stains on it. The gym was full-featured, if not a bit dank. To be fair, none of these issues were reported to management, so they did not have a chance to rectify anything.

The hotel is well situated. It is modern and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The only issue we had was that the bathroom was primitive, with no cover on the toilet and no vanity or shelving for toiletries. However, the price was fantastic.

They do not offer free wifi. The thermostat was ok but we could not run the fan for white noise while regulating the temperature; only did one or the other. This property looks decent in photos, but it's below average in real life. The lobby is the restaurant, so if you think that is just a quick coffee bar, it's not. The mattress was old and concaved in the center, and the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Apparently we were next to the dumpster and the trash was picked up at 6:30am. It woke us up. Someone "accidentally" called our room at 7am for a wake up call. 30 minutes later the housekeepers were outside our door making a ton of noise. We had planned to sleep in until 9 since we were traveling and exhausted but clearly that wasn't happening. We went out for breakfast and when we returned we were locked out of the room, even though check out was not until noon. I would not stay here again. It was overpriced and not a pleasant stay.

My stay was amazing, very clean room, friendly reception service. The only challenge, a disturbing sounds coming from your neighbors room. Without any exaggeration, it seems like you’re sharing the same room. I highly recommend to use some kind of sound barrier between the rooms.

Contacted on the day of check in that the room was no longer available. The rep indicated he would make a reservation closer to our current location. I told him to contact my wife because I was in the hospital. He did call and left a voice mail. When she called, she reached another operator who had no idea what the rep (Dewan) set up. My wife ended driving back to Maryland that evening.

I missed getting a disposable shower cap and the little bottles of lotion. The hotel was nice but the guests were extremely noisy. Every night they were stomping up and down the nearby stairwell or they were talking loudly outside my door at 6:30am. Location was convenient to food and shopping; very short drive to both. Free parking was a definite plus. By today’s standards, I received value for my money.

They have a little café, where they serve alcohol and light fair but the hours aren’t really right for me… I get in later and leave later. It only stays open till 10 and then it closes in the morning at 10 if they could add on an hour, it would be so much nicer… There is no microwave in the room and that’s a bummer adding to less convenience. there is one downstairs, but I don’t wanna have to go downstairs to warm up my food.

It’s a nice place, above average. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, but the bed was old and not very comfortable. The “bistro” in the lobby was disappointing, running out of some items and not very good. We did find a little deli in an office building across the street (Mike and Barry’s Deli) that was very good. Otherwise, any restaurants are about a mile away.

Hotel has only 3 floors off a busy street: lots of road noise. Very little noise insulation inside the building: other guests' conversations, TVs, morning alarms -- we heard it all. Best thing about the stay was breakfast: real scrambled eggs & high quality sausage cooked perfectly.

Marriott‘s new policy regarding “free breakfast“ is similar to that of a parent who has a stepchild they don’t like. If you pay the super expensive price that Marriott charges for their rooms, you get a breakfast for free but if you get it through Expedia or another online partner they will charge you full price for breakfast that is supposed to be free. When I say they charge you, that is not an understatement. For example an egg on a roll is north of $14! In the future I will look more carefully to see what other brands are available and I won’t be as quick to stay at a Courtyard by Marriott.

This is a very nice hotel. Rooms are clean. There is no free breakfast, but the food in the hotels’s cafeteria is ok. Coffee there is really good!

This hotel no longer serves free breakfast. This was a big disappoinment to find out. In future I will search for hotels which serve free hot breakfast. Just a half mile away is a Hilton which does serve a free hot breakfast. If it wasn't for an emergency in my choice, I would have stayed at the Hilton JUST for the free hot breakfast. You don't think these hotels make enough money to offer their customers this???
