It started off great but ended up leaving hotel and getting a partial refund.. it seemed to be a scam going on because our toilet over flowed and the manager blamed my son.. but the toilet was already broke.. he tried to put us out with no refund then agreed to let us stay one night with partial refund.. then when we got all packed to leave he ask if we want to stay another night and no refund.. I took my partial and left of course.. not to mention the pool was closed the whole time..

First room looked clean but had finger nail clippings on the floor. Moved to another room on lower area where it appeared long term users live. Patio chairs outside of rooms. New room , tv didn’t work, reported to management at 5 pm and they came to fix at 11 pm. Put my food in refrigerator to find out it didn’t work and food was ruined. Noisy, people coming and going all night. Not a good experience

Well let me begin by saying I will never stay at another red roof inn, ever. The room we got first the Television didn't work. So, they moved us to the room next door. Then stuff got worst. The tub has no anti slip bottom in it and the shower rod has no way of staying in place because the rod won't stay in place and you can't even take a hot tub bath because it doesn't have any way of blocking the drain from the water just running out all the time. Next the sink leaked underneath to the floor and was puddling up while I tried to shave. Next, there was an electrical box above the table that had no cover on it and when you opened or closed the door it dropped insulation out of the box into my drink. I didn't know that till I took a drink and swallowed some of the insulation. Then I had to throw up. That's when I found out the toilet never shuts off. I am a handyman and this and all of these things are a very easy fix. I opened the tank top of the toilet just to see if the float valve was too high and it wasn't, it was the flapper valve that was bad, again, another easy fix. Also, an electrical outlet had no cove on it next to the bed. Now for the good one. The bathroom doorknob was installed backwards and could not be shut and locked because the latch would not catch the opening of the casing. All you had to do is push on the door or if someone opened the main door the bathroom door flew open no matter what you did. If I had a screwdriver with me, I would have fixed that. MORE!

When arrived in my room there was a quarter of a toilet paper roll left. The previous people left adult items in the room. Black out curtains didn’t work bathroom door didn’t close. There were mold spots in the shower and the pool was disgusting. I felt like I was being watched the entire time.

The pillow cases and comforters were filthy, my boyfriend had to go get clean pillowcases so my daughter could go to sleep. The toilet was wobbly and almost off the bolts. There was a desk, but no chair. The shower had bugs (alive and dead) in it. The pool was nasty - again my daughter would not even swim in it. Other guests were standing outside of their rooms smoking with no regard for non-smoking guests - if there was a designated smoking area, it was not enforced. Literally I would give this hotel a 0 if it was available!

When we checked in i used the restroom and had no issues when we came back from dinner their was no water, toilet wouldn't flush there was no shower Curtain.. I called to the front desk they said they would call Maintenance. But that never happened the tv didnt work as well i called 3 times that night with nothing. The next morning we were given another room to use to shower and stuff but did not get a discount or anything. Also they do not have a shuttle bus to take you to concerts like it was advertised

The room wasn’t cleaned when I got there. Took 2 hours to get into the room after checking in. Was told I would get a refund on the first night. That was a lie. They only returned the deposit. For where this motel is, it’s disgusting. Never again.

Im sorry i dont like to leave bad reviews but this hotel was gross. The bedding had stains on it. The sheets had yellow stains. Air conditioning wasnt on through out the hotel and is was warm inside. We had to turn the air on when we came in and we had to hurry to get ready to leave for our concert and was saeating trying to get rid of. And lastest i know this isnt the hotels doing but they allowed info. For shuttle service and that guy is an absolute jerk. We called and ge said he would call back and didnt. Then when we called he saud he could only take us in groups. We went elsewhere but that didnt seem to work so we called him back again which in the mean time we found someone to take us all. We called him back to cancel and he yelled at my husband and was demanding a cancelation fee. We hung uo and tben he just kept calling and texting back harrasing us. Would recommend at all.

The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen. Wont be back and wont ever recommend to anyone, better off sleeping in your car. Huge clumps of hair all over the hallways and dead bugs and garbage everywhere.

My bed covers had stains, the box spring cover had obvious c*m on it. There was trash and a family of ants next to the bed. DO NOT stay at this hotel please. Unless you enjoy all of that; go for it. But I for sure don’t, my girlfriend n I pulled the blankets and sheets off the bed and basically slept without any covers, the room STUNK. It was just terrible

Unfortunately, with limited options for hotels close to Pine Knob in our price range, this is what we settled on. I didn't have high expectations from the start but it was definitely worse than i anticipated. When we arrived an hour after check in, we were told our room "might be ready". We got to our room to find it still being cleaned, but were told it was finished? When we actually get into out room we discover that it is indeed not clean. we have to find someone to come finish cleaning while we wait. When we get back to our room 10 minutes later and see no one is in there, we assume it would be clean. It wasn't. At this point we give up and decide to just wear our shoes in the room and try not to touch too many of the surfaces. I know this is a budget hotel, but basic cleanliness should be a standard. There was also no extra pillows, blankets or toilet paper, and the air conditioner was rattling so loudly that we couldn't sleep. I wouldn't have stayed here for more than 1 night.

The bathroom was horrible. There was hair on the walls of the shower, a build up of soap film and dirt on the shower ledges, build up of dirt and grim in the corners and edges of the floor and poop on the wall above the toilet roll dispenser on the wall. Tried to close the drapes and the pull rod fell off. The carpet in the hallways looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a month.

We stayed the night for a concert at Pine Knob. Overall, good stay and area. There is a restaurant right next door. Beds we’re comfortable but the only blanket on the bed was super thin and we did get a little cold. If you do stay here, bring an extra blanket. I wouldn’t choose to stay here longer than a night.

I stayed 3 nights with my infant & I can't say enough positive things about the staff. Everyone I talked to was super helpful & smiled while working. I would definitely stay there again! Plus my room was huge (1 king bed, non-smoking).

Some rooms can be accessed internally like a traditional hotel, some externally (only door opens to the outside of the building) - no difference noted on app. This jotel has an enormous amount of small sets of steps. If you are in an outside room especially it will be very difficult if you have mobility issues. Although clean, the room had a broken window drape (missing some curtain rings making its coverage of the window to the sidewalk sketchy), the toilet paper roll holder was broken, and the shower head looked ... questionable. We did not try the shower though as there were no towels at all in the room. Also no soap- even for sink. We got in, exhausted and fell asleep. Woke up 2ish hours later planned to shower and properly rest... thats when we noticed the lack of any toiletries and towels. Repeatedly tried contacting front desk via phone- no answer. We decided to leave and finish the drive. A large part of why we stopped was to shower the 'car funk' off. Safe area, acceptable level of clean- but just extremely frustrating lack of response and the most basic things- soap and towels!!

The room was visibly dirty on the countertops and in the bathroom. There was trash left in the bathroom. There was an insect in the shower. The hallway carpets were disgusting and the stairwells were filled with piles of dirty linen. Bring your own towels because they only give two teeny tiny ones. And an eye mask because the parking lot light shines into the room all night and it is never dark.

The property staff was very good. They were kind and friendly and informative. The area around the hotel is a little rough and the hotel itself could be a little cleaner. However, my bathroom was nice and clean. The shower was excellent. I had plenty of towels and washcloths the bed mattress was a little lopsided, but all in all, I was very satisfied with what I paid for the room night was provided

It was fine. Went with friends to Riff Fest 2024 for a one night stay. The worst part were the beds, they were EXCRUCIATING to sleep on. I'd have rather slept on the floor. Also there are lots of stray cats around the area, which is fine, they get fed & watered with the pizzeria next door. But we witnessed other concert-goers literally catnap one of them and take it with them when they left. The cat was freaking the F out.

Got in at 4:30pm running late. Wouldn’t check me in cause he had the wrong check in details. Used my reward night only had to pay tax. He said I owed $79. Showed him my hotels. Com receipt and itinerary. He said what do you want me to do with that ?. Asked for the manager, I was speaking to the manager. Didn’t check me in . I had to go directly to the concert change in my vehicle. What a joke.

Waited 15 mins for someone to come to the front desk, the lobby phone did not work so the sign stating “Dial Zero if no one is at the front desk” was pretty pointless. Room was what it was, slept on top of the blankets as we did not want to crawl into the bed, bathroom sink tap sprayed water everywhere, shower faucet dripped and the tub was gross (Covered in black stuff). Parking lot had a bunch of cars in it with flat tires, found that quite odd. We booked it for a concert and knew it would not be a Hilton or something like that but it was pretty bad. Have stayed at Red Roofs before and this one was by far the worst. Only saving grace for us with this hotel is the location served us well.

Overall clean the shower curtain was to short.and not enough towels had to get more other then that was a nice stay people and staff are friendly. Staff was truly helpful especially the girl who checked us in had a great sense of humor and went right along with my husbands jokes. She was super friendly and made us feel welcome.

Pros: Check in was fast and easy. I was able to park my car very close to my room. We didnt have any issues with staff or other guests. It was about a 10 minute drive to Great Lakes Crossing. Room was clean. Cons: Everything was fair for the low price we paid but the room was outdated, some poorly done drywall repairs, no artwork on the walls etc. Also, the walls are thin so as people were getting up in the morning it was pretty loud. It didn't bother us but could be an issue for someone needing to sleep in. The noise started around 7am. We did not use the pool or other hotel amenities to comment.

Very sub standard. Never anyone on the desk. Room not clean, Shower sucked, half roll toilet paper, had to go to walmart to buy more because no one on desk to ask for more. Also had to buy ant traps because our was over taken by ants. Had to actually through half of our food away because of the ants. We will never again stay at a red roof inn. They didn't even have a breakfast bar the whole time we were there.
