Laundry was out of service, but place was ok and clean

All the essentials were fine: everything was clean and everything worked (A/C, hot water, TV...) plus desk staff were ready (at midnight). Slight signs that age of facility has overwhelmed the maintenance budget (big crack in porcelain sink, unfilled gap near sink). Also, no elevator to 2nd floor.

For the location (5 miles from downtown Muskegon) and the price, it was a decent stay. The front lobby is dated and needs to be brighter. The front desk person had a long going on, so we had to wait a few minutes to check in. Our room with a king bed was spacious and clean and comfortable. The site has plenty of parking and it lit well at night. It met our needs for our one-night stay.

For a quick place to sleep, it wasn't the worst, but we were initially booked on the second floor, but there was no elevator and my mom is unable to do stairs. They did begrudgingly give us a ground floor room, but the window was broken and couldn't lock. Aside from those things, the room was okay and decently clean.

The hotel isnt bad. It could use a remodel. The carpets are old and stained, there is no elevator and the lobby bathroom is out of order. Also the garbage area outside needs to be cleaned up. The vending machines should be upgraded to a small store, it could be run out of the eating area. The best part is the eating area. Very nice spread for a free breakfast.

A lot of lights in Parking lot and seemed pretty clean and maybe had been recently renovated as far as decor

It wasn’t nothing like how the picture was online. It way to noisy and guest was knocking on my door at 1am, and no elevator I’m handicap and my legs was hurting bad

Great place to stay compared to a lot of others in the area. We stayed one night and it served it’s purpose. Only thing they don’t have elevators so we opted for room on the first floor but we heard people from upstairs walking around against the floor boards all night. I still slept peacefully, will return if in area again.

Cigarettes all over the ground, garbage all over in the river, the window in one of two rooms i stayed in had a broken window, crumbs all over the night stand, dirty towls on the back of the bathroom door, one shampoo and no conditioner(i had to go down and ask for one, not sure why they wouldnt put one of each) Ice machine gave me 10 pices of ice it was so empty, the pop machine said "change only" so my husband asked for 5$ in change, went back to the machine and it took 3 of the 7 quarters (spit the other 4 out), the front desk attended came around and informed him she didnt think the machine had anything in it so she gave him a refund of his quarters but not a 5$ bill, what he initially gave her.

No amenities no elevator for disabled guest.

Very clean, carpet very clean...looked brand new, chairs not material so could wipe down with sanitizer. As clean as 4 star in same town. (Stayed at both) Fridge and freezer worked great, micro available too. Comfortable bed. Great rate for how much they are working to keep the place looking nice. Clean bathroom...even in the corners. =} TV worked. =} (Sometimes have trouble with this at other places.)

Easy check in and ok location. Cleanliness - drain in bathroom was smelly. When pulled out the filter had hair, food, noodles and clean scent tabs. Most disgusting smell ever and all they try to do was Matt when I just needed to be cleaned.

The carpet in room 123 was filthy and sticky! It looked like someone had tar on shoes and walked all over the room, especially on the window side of the bed.

The hotel and the rooms are always very clean.

I would not recommend for a single female to go alone to this location. It sounded like there was a party all night just outside of my window. This was too expensive of a hotel for the unsanitary conditions. The parking lot was dirty. The carpet in the room was filthy and floors had not been cleaned.

The sheets on my bed were not waahed and the room smelled musty

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing. There was one roach. That was a major downside. I "only" saw one but they say if you see 1 there are dozens more.

Staff were great, location & access to surrounding stores-restaurants-parks was practical/helpful, room was comfortable & clean, t.v. & Wi-Fi was good, breakfast had variety

Nice budgeting friendly place to stay. The walls were pretty thin. I could hear people in the room next to us when they spoke at a higher volume so i know they heard my baby crying. Other then that very easy check in and out sith friendly staff

Room was not the way it was advertised in the pictures, shower flooded the bathroom, not enough towels, bed was hard, not enough pillows for a king bed, broken chair in room, remote had no back and didnt work properly from the bed, weak floors coming inside the building and going downstairs to eat breakfast, breakfast area was dirty food was nothing like ive had at others travellodges, only one ice machine and it was on the bottom floor, parking lot was a mess and to small for the people they already had, and was kind of difficult to find the place

It was dated but comfortable. The next to the bed needed to be reupholstered or thrown out. The TV remote didn't work. Stuck on the game show network. The tub didn't drain when I took a shower. The push button didn't work the drain. You had to pull it up by hand to drain the water. The sink had a bunch of cracks in it.

The first room they assigned us to was already occupied so I was nervous about my stay from the start, admittedly. The staff quickly got that sorted out though and the room we ended up staying in was fine. The inside of the hotel was decent, it looks like it was updated fairly recently. Carpets looked newer, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was clean. However, our fridge made a horrible noise that sounded like there were pigeons stuck between the walls! It was a little hard to maintain a comfortable temperature, I was constantly too hot or too cold and had to keep adjusting the AC unit. The outside is not accurately depicted in the ads, it’s pretty run down, the parking lot is full of potholes and the back entrance doesn’t have a door handle. It has a screw covered with electrical tape that you pull on. Lots of people hanging around outside the building and in the parking lot, not sure if they were guests or not though. The location is not ideal, neighborhood seems extra sketchy. I was relieved to see that there were cameras looking into the parking lot as we checked in because I was nervous about leaving my car there overnight. Was happy to get free breakfast, but the biscuits were rock hard. All the options are very carb-heavy, especially for a vegetarian like myself (muffins, toast, cereal, oatmeal). I wouldn’t exactly say that this spot is worth the price… because it wasn’t exactly cheap, just the cheapest option I had.

I recently lost my identification and tried logging into the state for my temporary credentials. I was not given 10 minutes before they cancelled my reservation and kicked me out of the lobby.

Staff is wonderful and rooms are clean and up to date. I felt safe and parking was well lighted. Very convenient.

Staff was friendly, parking lot was well lit. Not in the most ideal location but we felt safe. Hotel is definitely dated. The room smelled horrible of cigarette smoke, but overall was clean. The breakfast was not great (sliced prepackaged bread and small assortment of cereal). We were looking for a clean, inexpensive hotel to lay our heads after a long day. This was what we needed.

The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful

It was wonderful. The room was clean and the front desk people very helpful. I asked for an assessable room because my wife had a recent stroke. We were given a room in the front that was very easy to reach everything needed.

The rooms are fine. The staff are really kind. We chose here to stay when we come this way. Reasonable prices also . Thanks

I arrived in the middle of a storm which knocked out the power. The staff was as accomidating as they could he given the circumstances. Very nice people. Nice rooms clean property. I would recommend to anyone and the prices were fantastic.

While the hotel has been recently remodeled, our AC did not work well in the heat wave. The sink was also smashed and being held together by poorly applied filler and calk. The neighborhood was very questionable. The surrounding roads were more patch than road, completely missing in some areas, and a huge swath of the roads were closed to through traffic. We had a hard time finding a way out of the neighborhood. Decent hotel in a sketch area

Roads leading to hotel is crazy bumpy. It is around nothing but a liquor store

This Travelodge is sandwiched between two liquor stores. Upon returning to the hotel late at night there were drunk vagrants harassing my wife and I as we hurriedly entered our room. We turned on the A/C unit purely to drown out the noise of the loud, drunk hooligans. Also, the staff had the audacity to force us to pay a cash deposit even though the room was already paid for. Luckily, we did get our deposit back, but I was unaware of the deposit requirement prior to booking. There is a waffle-maker with the continental breakfast!

Hotel is excellent, but the streets in that area have lots of potholes. That is NOT the fault of the Hotel, but travelers should be aware of this.

Road to motel biggest potholes in Michigan. Extremely run down neighborhood. Room was OK but very noisy from upstairs. Only green tea at breakfast & no water.

It was a nice property down a rough road. Not walkable to anything but many dining options in a 10 min driving area.

This hotel is in a part of town surrounded by condemned and empty buildings and poorly maintained roads. We encountered several people coming out of the bushes around this building, one of which appeared to be a sex worker with a client. When we checked in and then decided we did not feel safe, the staff at the front desk would not refund us our money and said that even though the area might not be safe, the hotel was. We did not end up staying the night here and would not recommend it to others.

Access road full of bad potholes like a war zone. Room and hallways smells of smoking. Breakfast not worth going for.

Property is wore down the breakfast is poor

It is a decent stay. Room was clean. Furnitures need renovation. Breakfast had limited choices.

The beds were comfy and the showers had good water pressure. The toilet in our room was wobbled and the shower made everything muggy. Breakfast was ok. There seemed to be only one person refilling things and half of it ran out at the same time…the coffee, the orange juice, the eggs, the biscuits and gravy, the waffle mix. It was fine for a post Michigan’s Adventure sleep and shower but wouldn’t stay more than one night.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast is basically cereal or toast. There was also waffles. But no protein. The area seemed a little run down.

We stayed in a handicap room. When taking a shower, a lot of the bathroom floor got wet. Breakfast only had green tea. But the waffles were delicious.
