The motel is aging and in need of repair. Beds are outdated and need replacing. Breakfast, other than cold options,were nonexistent and never refilled after the first round of diners. Security entrances, unlocked and unsafe,anyone could walk in back at anytime.

Its a low budget hotel. Got the job done. The pool was closed due to cleaning the first day. Do that mid week not on a friday through sunday. The main floor bathroom door doesn't shut, so you either have to go to your room or use the one stall bathroom in the pool area. In our room there was hair all over the back shower wall and bathroom floor. Not sure how they missed that. The bathroom sink doesn't drain well. So you have to wash your face quick, otherwise it fills up before you are done. Our tv never worked. No matter what input we used there was "no signal". The drain for the drinking fountain in pool area had sitting water, not draining. Gross to use. The breakfast coffee was terribly salty. So bizarre, everyone complained about it. The positives: The staff seemed friendly enough making eye contact and saying "good morning". The morning waffle maker. And the extended pool times 7 am to midnight.

Came for a graduation in the area. Clean rooms friendly staff great rotating breakfast menu daily. Kids loved the pool good size tiled hot tub and sauna!

Property is very rundown. The Lobby ceiling is filthy. Paint is peeling all over the exterior. No elevator. Mediocre bed. Ceiling sprinklers in room are rusty. Furniture is damaged. One of the bathroom lights was burnt out. No safe in room. Weeds 3’ high along the building along with an empty pallet discarded in the front shrubbery bed. In need of many more power points. This makes me suspect the “reviews” on your app are fictitious. All this for $185! Such a deal.

The sink in the bathroom barely drained. The side entrance closest to our room was broken so we could only use the front door which was a distance. It was sleeting outside so apparently that was the reason no one had any tv all night or the next morning (Direct TV). Beds were extremely hard. The phone line in the room to the front desk was very static sounding and hard to hear. Only positive I can think of was the shower worked well and the breakfast was decent. The common areas appeared clean and maintained.

It was interesting that upkeep seems minimal and the hallway carpet was stained red in one area with a small hole in the floor. The pool bathroom was dirty with towels on the floor and waterbugs and never got cleaned while we were there. You had to request pool towels at the desk. Only 2 bathtowels provided per room and one hand towel.

My daughter and I both got bed bug bites (which have been confirmed by my doctor). This was a terrible experience. The rooms have a strong musty smell. The bathroom appeared dirty. The towels were literally threadbare. To their credit, they immediately offered me a full refund. But I would never recommend this hotel.

Awful! The hotel online looked VERY different than online. This was easily the the worst hotel experience I have ever had. “Continental Breakfast” includes one option. No juice. No fruit. No eggs. Rotten milk. No oatmeal or cereal. Literally JUST biscuits and gravy. The hotel is OLD and DIRTY. We pulled the sheets back to ensure it was “clean enough”. We ended up sleeping ON top of the cover.

The lobby was nice, and the staff was friendly. However, the room was disappointing. The furnishings were fine, except for the sitting chair, which was badly stained. The grout between the tiles in the walk-in shower was badly discolored and had quite a bit of mold near the shower floor. The bed was not comfortable. The mattress felt cheap and was very firm. The walls are very thin. I could clearly hear the car traffic and every conversation in the hallway.

I stay in a lot of hotels for work and this was one of rhe worst ones. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and there was no mattress cover, which is concerning. The room smelled so strong of cleaning product that I had to open the window and lwave to let it air out. Im glad it means the room was cleaned, but the staff obviously didn't add enough water in the mop water as rhe floors were sticky as well. The breakfast was cold and limited. I went down at 6:15 am when it opened at 6 am and yet many items were already out. Lastly, they only had 1 towel in a room with 2 queen beds that sleeps 4 people. Why is that? How can that be a savings? I would not stay there again. It was a mistake.

We always stayed in this hotel when visiting. However this time it was apparent it has down hill. Not sure if the sheets were changed or if they were stained. Pillows are old and flat. The extra chairs in room were so gross they just really needed to be thrown and replaced. The sink sprayed water when turned on, not great when your dressed in formal attire and get wet. The king size bed was a king mattress on a double headboard frame, and to top it off the smoke dector was beeping at 2am one night, for a battery from front we replaced it and it started again the next night in middle of night. I won’t stay here again.

We chose this hotel for a one-night stay based on an attractive Expedia price and guest reviews. Our guest room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. However, the television and wi-fi in our assigned guest room were not working so we were reassigned to another room where the tv and wi-fi did work but the coffeemaker had mold in it and the bathroom sink had long hair strands in it and the grounds needed some litter removal. Others may like staying here but we would not choose to return.

There was no staff available to check in guests and they did not respond to the buzzer or dialing 0 as the sign started. I had to yell loudly in order for staff to come out of their room to check us in. When we got to the room, no fan or AC had been left on. There was very high humidity to the point the floor felt damp and the room had a funky odor. The bed was not comfortable and we did not sleep well. Breakfast was okay the next morning. My brother stayed in another room and told us his room had not been cleaned when he checked in, with unmade beds, dirty towels, and trash all over. When he reported it to the front desk, their response was "are you sure?" Overall, very disappointing experience.

The location and price were good. We arrived at midnight. It took about nine minutes of waiting, pressing the call button, and calling the lobby phone for someone to come out of one of the first floor rooms to check us in. He didn’t talk except to say “initial here”, and “breakfast is at 6:00”. The room only had two towels for a 4-person reservation. The tub didn’t drain, there was no tp holder, there was a spider web with living spider in the tub, and hairs and pee spots on the bathroom floor. The pool and hot tub seemed clean, which was nice. Breakfast was okay. On par with a budget hotel.

When checking in I waited for 15 minutes for the desk clerk and had to call on the desk phone in order to check in. The clerk was not friendly but polite. The room was clean but basic and in need of some repair. The heater rattled and vibrated when running so had to jam a small towel in it to cut down the noise. No extra blankets but were able to turn up the now quiet heater. Very busy road and the noise went all night.

This is the second time we have stayed here at the Cobblestone in Faribault. The people and staff are fantastic. They are attentive when ever there is an issue. The breakfast is different every day, though still very basic, but good. The one issue is the rooms are in desperate need of an update. That would be our only complaint. We will stay again, as we have family in town, but think a remodel is overdue!

Food ran low regularly in the mornings. Water/juice machine did not work the whole week I was there. The hot water dispenser never had hot water… the room was clean but the fridge did not work. The bathroom needed deep cleaning with rings in tub and grout with mold. Water pressure in shower was STRoNG! Bed was comfy enough. Walls thin! Not sure how this hotel is rated so highly, but not sure the other options in the area are much different.
