The elevator wasnt working and the stairwells smelt terrible! The ice machine was also out of order. Very limited parking also

The property was located right off the highway which was a plus but shares a lot with applebees so it was next to impossible to find parking in the evening. Rooms were ok but bathrooms needs to be updated. The front sliding doors were broken so you have to pry them open if you wanted to enter or exit each time. Pool was out of order when we stayed there, which was too bad because the kids wanted to swim. The water you shower with smells strongly of chlorine

The Elevator was not working for the duration of our stay. Breakfast could have had more variety

This AmericInn offers parking for those who leave their cars while out of town. It was difficult to find a space to park the 2 nights we were staying at the hotel. We chose to walk to a nearby restaurant, when it was snowing, rather than give up our parking spot. If you are registered at AmericInn, there should be a reserved spot for your vehicle. We were counting on using the pool but it was closed. The desk did offer for us to change our reservation to one of AmericInn Hotels nearby or drive to the partner hotel to swim, but we chose not to. Too much trouble in wintery, snowy weather.

Toilet running every 15 minutes. Broken ice machine. Elevator out of order. No arms on desk chair in handicapped room. Broken lamp shade. Poor lighting.

All the reviews say, beds are comfortable, they are terrible!!! Hard, questionable if sheets were clean 🤔! Bathroom durty, overall, room very dirty. Thus hotel is heavy traffic one and it shows

This place is disgusting. Rooms had spider webs in them and the sheets didn't look clean. Booked for 2 nights and only stayed one night.

Bit rundown, plenty of signs up, saying they’re repainting areas with notices on multiple floors with damage vandalism on the doors of the lift and signage inside the lift, ice machine on the ground floor out of order. Hair noticeable in bathroom and on the wall in bathroom and in the bathtub of the shower. Shower-head clogged up with sediment so no pressure for shower. Multiple green stains on the carpet. Microwave in the room had no microwave plate in. I reported this to front desk. And the Front desk gave me a new plate which doesn’t fit. It’s too big. I had to have the inconvenience of stay of using the one down near the breakfast area on the ground floor. White blind of room has a square cut in it from damage. Bug crawling on the spare bed spread. Breakfast is served from 6 to 10 AM. Noticed a very small amount of condiments maple syrup etc not restocked and a lack of cups for using for dispensing the waffle mix. Waffle mix batter on the walls and other areas of the breakfast counter area that's not been cleaned since my whole stay there. Regular noise from other rooms and the hallway as well. I mention it to the staff from the front desk. Their response was the owner neglect to take care or doesn’t do things because it doesn’t matter and they won’t listen to the feedback from the staff from guests.

Out of order I’ve machine. Dirty floors, walls, everything and anything you can imagine. Exercise room smelled horribly. Broken buttons in elevator, did NOT have a smart tv.. no Netflix or YouTube.. omg - just don’t stay here. I promise it’s worth spending more money elsewhere.

Stayed here in the past and it was a very nice hotel. Not anymore with my wife's last stay. Upon checkin and proceeding to her first room, in the hallway she was greeted by a marijuana smell strong enough to give a person a contact buzz. She continued to her room to find multiple issues. The bed had what appear to be blood stains on the sheets. The room reeked of marijuana and had the smoke detector removed from the wall. It was described as "gross" and she went down to the front desk. The front desk clerk apologized for the room condition. He gave her a couple options to fix the situation. Option 1 was a new set of sheets and she could make the bed herself. Or option 2 she could swap rooms. The second room was ground level but identical setup. This room smelled much cleaner. The sheets on the bed still had a couple small stains, but they looked cleaner otherwise so she decided to just deal with it. She did find bugs in the windows and light bulbs were missing from the fixtures. She went outside to the car to grab drinks and was going to check out the vending machine/ice, but found a stack of what appear to be air conditioning units, probably broken just stacked up. She also found the door she wanted to use has been propped open with a piece of wood. Breakfast was available but after the other issues she was not going to trust anything cooked. She did not use the pool amenities this stay. If i was able to give 0 stars on some of the items I would have.

Room was clean and staff were friendly

Stayed here because we had a dance competition close by. This was the only hotel that had a room available in the area. The hotel room we stayed in was gross. There was a brown/red (assuming it was blood but hoping it was ketchup…) stain right by the bed on the floor. Cobwebs in the corner of the room, a white suspicious stain on the bed skirt, garbage was not emptied, found a hair in the bed sheets. Honestly should have not stayed and demanded my money back but it was late and we needed to be up early. Just plain gross. Not ok.

There are better places to stay for the same price of this hotel. Don’t do it. We checked in, my first warning should have been how dirty the floors were at the lobby. We get to our room, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed and quite honestly needed to be shampooed. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and left the next morning and went to the holiday inn in Eagan, which is GREAT, and was the same price. Another family member in our group had the same experience with his room. Floors were dirty, hair in the shower, closet was filthy.

Beds are very hard. Did not sleep well

We went to enjoy a fun trip away from the stress of home and work. From what I had read of the Hotel online, it looked perfect for all of our needs to relax. It was a disappointing experience once we got there and found that many things I had read about either didn’t exist or were so poor in quality they were unusable. A local Shuttle is Listed but doesn’t exist! They charge for their airport Shuttle! We stayed at the far side of the hotel, and when I voiced an issue with the wifi strength, I was told that “it covers the entire building well, except one room” (not ours, he explained that much) we had 3 mobile devices, 3 different OS, 2 apple, 1 android, and on 2 different networks. The cellular network for AT&T was poor in this area so we had 1 bar at the best for cell service here. The wifi was completely unusable, it wouldn’t stay connected and would just drop the moment we try to use it. The only saving grace of this stay was that it was slightly cheaper than other hotels, and the bedding was clean when we got there. They were also kind enough to give me an additional blanket when I needed one. I still won’t return, I won’t recommend anyone I know to go here, and for that matter, I won’t recommend anyone I don’t know.

The beds were comfortable. The room was adequate in size and relatively quiet.

For the money, this place is ok. Had a studio suite with a Jacuzzi tub. The tub was clean and worked well. Fireplace in the room was not working. Updated counters and room organizers with great lighting. Led bulbs. There was a hole in the closet door. Overall some things were nice and other stuff beat up

No parking spots, no shampoo in the room & staff was unable to find any. Bed is hard and so are pillows. Air conditioning turns off and on throughout the night with no way to have the fan stay on. Do not recommend at all.

Nice price and spacious room

Good front desk staff, good price, clean. Room needed more light. A number of minor things needed fixing or replacing.

I like the hot tubs in the room but they need to paint and touch up a lot of things around the rooms and building.

Property was okay but not one I'd visit again. My TV has no remote, the room smelled like someone smoked in it 3 years ago and it never went away, the super bright lights on the outside that lit up the building went straight into my window all night, my key stopped working on the second day I was there, the elevator went down on the last day, and the entire building was not consistently cooled down during the heat. Oh, and my mini fridge wasn't stable, every time I tried to open the door I would drag the whole thing out.

The front desk was BEYOND helpful when we were checking in very very late at night with 1 child and 2 infants. It is because of her that we will continue to use this hotel for our park and fly for vacations

Elevator food not work for 1/2 my stay, no discount received for inconvenience. Room wasn't ready when i checked in the first evening after housekeeping left for the day. I was moved up one floor and the elevator was not working. Did not receive maid service written requested. Staff was not attentive. Expected a discount for inconvenience, didn't even receive apologies

Terrible stay. I was here for 2 and a half weeks due to work and the room was cleaned twice. The final straw was when they double charged my card which ended with a 1000 dollar pending transaction. They did not do anything to help the situation, and when asked about a manager not only could they not give info but when an appt was made the manager stood me up. I would absolutely not stay here again.

After being there for 3 days we thought we would have our room cleaned, but came back to find it wasn't. We were told by someone at the desk that it would be done the next morning. The next morning I talked with the housekeeper who said she was by herself and would not be cleaning our room. Someone at the front desk he would see what could be done. Fortunately a woman heard our conversation and indicated she was a GM and would see that it was done. And it did get done. But we were also locked out of our room several different days and times. We had to have our key redone several times and even that did not work. The battery was changed in the door scanner and yet a few days later it happened again.

Staff was very Professional, responsive and respectful.

The staff was fantastic and hotel was very clean. Expedia really let me down. Hotel did not have any record of my reservation and it was a holiday weekend. Messi at front desk was amazing after spending 1 hour on phone with Expedia.

We stayed here strictly because it was closest to visit our daughter & grandkids. The front desk person was hardly there when we needed them and we were not told ahead of time that the elevator was under maintenence repair. We had to walk up the three flight of stairs up & down for 4 days straight. Breakfast was terrible with very few selections. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable to sleep on, and we had to walk downstairs to the front desk each time we needed clean towels or toilet paper. Shower head could be better with hardly any shampoo or conditioner in the bottles in the bathroom. Seemed like everything was a hassle...got kindof stressed out a bit. We weren't happy with our stay here.

Walk ability to dining options was a plus. Paid online, but a deposit was due upon check-in. Late checkout was a bit of a hassle but very last minute. Indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. Conveniently located off of Hwy 52 and I-494, just 15 minutes from MSP airport.

It was a good choice for us as we wanted a reasonable place convenient to the MSP airport and not pay top dollar.

I loved the convenient location near the freeway. It was easy to find and check-in was quick and easy. The only thing I didn't like is that I couldn't spend more time in the room relaxing. Kudos to the cleaning staff! Super clean room.

This stay was due to son in the hospital. They were accommodating with parking. Breakfast was awesome as we needed to be at the hospital early and didnt arrive back at hotel until late. Well lit parking lot.

I would stay here again. The property was nice and clean. Great dining options near by.

Pros: The hotel at a first glance is good. The rooms are a good size, fairly updated and look nice. They have a unique breakfast option and it was refreshing. Chicken tenders is a new one for me. The front desk staff was also very accommodating for us. Our room was only $107 USD a night and was close to things nearby. 20 mins to MOA, Walmart, Capitol building, as well as a gas station and a few restaurants right outside. Cons: Our first assigned room on the main floor, 117, was musty and had actual mold all over the beds. We quickly got switched to a room that was above in 217 and it was perfect compared to the one below. The beds themselves are not that soft and the pillows suck. I couldn't get a good sleep. The shower curtain rod is curved downward so the curtain constantly slides to the middle. Water will get all over the floor. The staircase at the end of the building also smells weird but I just opened the windows in it to air it out. The pool area uses almost like a bunch of pebbles glued together as the floor and a bunch of the rocks are loose. You can guess why that sucks. They used the same lining for the hot tub which is very rough on your skin / clothes if you move. The hot tub itself is not that hot. I want to be able to at least sweat in the thing after 5 mins. Sat in for 30 and was just getting a tad warm. The sauna doesn't close fully but it does get fairly hot after you warm it up for 30-45 mins.

It was a pleasant and clean place to stay. The breakfast options were somewhat limited, which was the only drawback. I would certainly stay there again.

everything went perfect!!!! Breakfast was very upsetting!!!! first stay had no egg or sausage!!! Second stay had egg and sausage but were cold as rock. and egg didn’t feel fresh and tasted frozen being thawed!!! Overall stay was good except breakfast !

There was no hot water in our shower our ENTIRE weekend stay. Elevator was broken the whole weekend. Holes in the bedding. The remote for the tv was broken and missing its back. The breakfast was awful and unsanitary. Workers were rude when we needed something. Will not stay again and do not recommend for others.
