The Hilton Hotel personnel are extremely polite, courteous and responsive. The property is well maintained. Definitely liked the Executive lounge and the "multi media show" in the Main Lobby. We used valet Parking. I think the retrieval of your car by the Valets should be quicker. If you use Valet, expect it to take from 20-30 minutes for your car to arrive. Next time I will self-park and walk, as it is slightly less expensive, but definitely quicker.

Very convenient location. Hotel is on the dated side, but comfortable. Pool is nice. Hotel layout is confusing and while there is a lot of signage, there is still some key signs missing to get you to your destination. Mini fridge is luke cold and not very useful. Keys cards are used everywhere and many are either slow to work or don't work at all (pool area).

The location is beautiful with lots of activities to do. The service is terrible and the elevators are janky. If you can stay on the first floor, I would. I would still recommend the hotel as long as you are not someone who needs any services when you stay places. Our room did not have a working drain for the sink, but again the area and hotel are beautiful.

We enjoyed the property, the great options surrounding the hotel and the pool. The pool was great. We really loved how it was heated. We had a small problem with the TV in the room not working properly. We called the front desk and someone came right away and fixed it.

Disappointed that the main Bar and the light show were closed to guests. It was the main reason we returned to stay here again. It was closed due to a wedding reception, so I guess I understand, and congrats to the wedding couple. We just wish we knew that it was closed ahead of time.

It was a neat building, but the rooms were just ok. It was easy to walk to dinner and nearby attractions, but the options were all quite pricey. $50 a night to valet or $45 to park yourself. YIKES. Very pricey.

Room was incredibly dirty: including dirt in the sheets, hair in the shower, and all furniture and surfaces were covered in dust. Broken items in the room: like the curtain rod and the top lock. Items left from someone else. And the aquarium was supposed to be open until 8 but it closed at 5 today. It was disappointment. It didnt feel like our room was ready for guests and definitely not what we paid for. The hotel has a lot to do in the area and in union station alone, but I hope this isnt a common experience. It is a beautiful first impression with the lobby and the room itself is nice.

Shower drain was closed and rimmed with grossness. We had to open the drain and run hot water before we showered. Bathroom floor had hair in the corners. Coffee maker was too dirty to use. We called vallet and were told 10 minutes to retrieve our car, we waited 25 minutes. Fire and Water show was broken all weekend, most of the attached restaurants and bars are only open Thurs-Saturday. I overpaid for this hotel as I thought the attractions would be worth it and was severely disappointed with our experience. It was dated, unclean, and lacking in dining options.

This property has great potential but everything about it was average. The room had empty tissues and lotion upon arrival. There were ants in the bathroom. Staff did not go out of their way to welcome you or share noteworthy events/highlights/features. Food was super average. It kind of felt like no one really cared to create an experience or delight guests. A management and hospitality refresher, some menu updates and a few improvements could take this hotel to a destination vs an accommodation.

Good location. Beautiful lobby with light show on the hour from 5:00-10:00 pm. Getting to the room is a bit confusing, but it's an old building. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was quiet (except for chairs scraping on the floor below us in the lounge). I think the room could've been more clean, specifically the bathroom and windows. Not enough towels provided. It does feel a little tired and I wouldn't call it a 4-star hotel. It's got old charm and you're paying for the location. Staff members were nice. Maggie O'Brien's and The Pitch next door both have great food.

I’ve never stayed at a Hilton before, but chose this hotel because of the location and convenience of being near activities for my family. We loved being able to step out of our elevator and walking to the aquarium, mini golf, restaurants, and more. Main problem was cleanliness, which is important to me. Our first room smelled like strong mildew. They were happy to switch our rooms and apologized for the inconvenience. Then the second room also smelled like mildew, but more mild. There was dust in wall corners and vents. The shower was also not cleaned as there were streaks in the bathtub and shower curtain hadn’t been changed out or washed. Unfortunately won’t be staying here again.

Needs an update. This isn’t what I expected from a Hilton Curio collection. The room was just average. Handicap bathroom which looked like it hadn’t been updated in 20 years. Really ugly brown tile and poor water pressure. Very odd hallways and room access through some weird sections of what might have been the hotel but may not have been. Could have been cleaner. I booked this more expensive option so we’d have a nicer stay. Should have just booked the cheaper Fairfield as it was likely cleaner and more updated.

The old Union Station architecture and specifically the Grand Hall were beyond amazing to see, but sadly the hotel experience was rather poor for us. The room had a clogged sink, a broken tv remote, an empty body wash bottle, filthy air vent covers, chocolate drops splashed on the wall, peeling paint in the bathroom shelf cubbies, dust bunnies on the bathroom upper wall corners in plain sight, orange water staining on shower tile, and a filthy Keurig coffee machine that clearly had not been cleaned in ages. The cup was brown inside. I told the staff about the Keurig and they said someone would bring up a replacement but no one came. That meant no in room coffee or tea. Everything I mentioned was obvious and in plain sight so clearly these issues were being ignored and neglected. I get that it is an old city hotel but that does not make these conditions acceptable for the price. The restaurant was admittedly understaffed and forgot to make the chicken on our chicken and waffles order, so all of our food came, but we had to wait for the cook to make the chicken. In all fairness, the waiter went out of his way to make it right, so credit to him for that. The night before the restaurant ran out of two of our meal choices. They just felt very disorganized and brought the wrong food to our table once as well Clearly the cleaning and basic maintenance checklist for our room was neglected. As amazing as Union Station as a whole was, sadly the hotel experience was disappointing.

My wife and I stayed here for a little under a week for a vacation in late summer. Overall I have to say that it was a very positive experience. You are literally right next to the aquarium and Union Station boardwalk area, and are within walking distance of the City Museum. While we were there it was a record breaking heat wave, so we personally didn't do too much outside. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff we encountered were very friendly, knowledgeable of the area and functions, and helpful. My wife and frequented the executive lounge and the staff that worked there we some of the highlights of the trip. The room was great but was lacking a few things that would have gotten a better review. There are no microwaves in the rooms, nor an easy accessable one nearby. The only one I was told of was located within the dining facility in the back of the dining room, which was closed after dinner. So no reheating leftovers or anything. The pillows were hit/miss. Some were very flat and didn't hold shape, others were fluffy and perfect. I couldn't tell which was which without feeling them, but maybe I'm just not that perceptive. Wi-fi access, while free, was very shoddy. Signal would drop frequently and you're forced to use a splash page everyday to sign up. This isn't a big deal except the signal is unsecured and the splash page must be shy as it frequently needs some troubleshooting to even appear.

This hotel was beautiful from the Grand Hall to the room we had, and everywhere in between. The historical architecture was amazing. You could probably pick apart some minor details because of age, but it was even better than we had anticipated, based on some of the reviews. Our air conditioning in the room didn’t cool as much as we would have liked, but other than that it was a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel. We enjoyed our stay. My only criticism is that the rooms are not sound proof. You can hear people in the room next to you, as well as guests outside the hotel, and hear their entire conversation. We could also hear the music from the courtyard start up early. So if you want to sleep in, bring ear plugs.

This is a big hotel with a lot of bustling activity. We saw the cutest families running around with PJ's on for the various Christmas attractions (pancakes with Santa, etc), groups of young dancers staying for dance competition, and folks ready to attend parties. If large crowds and activity everywhere aren't for you, then you should avoid this hotel. We stayed here because of the proximity to the Enterprise Center. I give Union Station 5 stars for its location to this venue. It was an easy 2 block walk, and given the crowds entering and exiting, we felt safe walking in the late evening to and from. I also give 5 stars for friendly staff. I deducted one star because of the loud party at the Aquarium. Sure, you can call me a Karen, but there was a wedding party (it looked like fun) with a thumping DJ going until 11:30 PM. There was absolutely no escaping the VERY loud music. At least we enjoyed all the songs. Just know, if your room overlooks the Aquarium, you are at risk for major sleep disturbance. I've never experienced this when staying at a hotel, something that even my white noise machine couldn't drown out. I'm guessing the risk of party noise would be much better in other areas of the hotel, like the clock tower. I deducted another star for the toothpaste splatter in the bathroom. It was on the faucet, spigot, the wallpaper surrounding the sink, and the counter. This appeared to be more than just one bad cleaning. Other than that, the room appeared clean.

While a beautiful property, our room was dirty and not stocked and prepared for new customers. I made 4 phone calls and waited over 2 hours for bed linens for the sofa bed, so ended up with everyone falling asleep in 1 bed. The vallet wouldn’t answer their phone ever AND lost my keys and I had to wait outside in the cold with my items for 45 minutes. I was rather disappointed with our stay.

Everyone was incredible, all staff was really friendly. We stayed for the Adam Sandler concert and it was a short walk over to the Enterprise Center. We also were comped a really nice breakfast because of a slight issue with our keys that was easily fixed. Amazing time!

It Elways very hard to locate the hotel check-in area. The signs were spaced so far apart that it was easy to get lost. Then there was a long check-in line and only 2 people working the desk (plus one who was on the phone the entire time we were in line, so she didn’t help anyone). One of the other two who were actually checking people in was with the same hotel guest for the whole time we were in line. So basically, there was only one person checking guests in. With a big event (Guns ‘N Hoses) in town, there should have been more people checking in guests. But the hotel room was very quiet and clean and comfortable. Overall a good experience except for check-in and finding the hotel lobby.

Union Station in St. Louis is beautiful. The Grand Hall did not disappoint. My only issue with this property was the lackluster service. We called the front desk twice and physically went to the front desk to request maid service. We finally gave up on maid service (we never got it) and just begged for more towels. We did get towels, but for the price of the room, I would have expected better.

The check in process took forever since they must be understaffed. We were charged for parking after specifically asking if parking would be an additional charge, and then the staff kept transferring me and being rude when I asked about it. Our first room had water leaking out of the sink and on to the floor. We had to call 3 times just to get the front desk to answer and move us which they did do quickly. The new room had no toilet paper and we had to call at least 4 more times for more. Also there were dead birds plastered to the skylights above the hallways…. This hotel is very overpriced and the staff if struggling. Not worth the money at all.

I can’t get anyone to answer the phone at the front desk. And when I finally was able to hours later, she put me on hold, then hung up. I was calling to see how delivery orders worked. If she would have picked up and answered my question I would’ve known to be downstairs waiting on my food instead of never getting it!! And once I just walked down to ask about it, it was too late!! And she wasn’t very nice or acted like she even cared. So now it’s 1:19 am and we are trying to order food again. I’ll definitely be staying somewhere else next time.

Very upset to check in and have to wait 45 minutes for our room to be ready. They comped us breakfast at hotel restaurant but talking to people in line around us they just flat messed up booking with cubs-cards doubleheader that day. A hotel this big shouldn’t make mistakes like that.

We stayed for the July 4th festivities. The history of Union Station and all the downtown St. Louis buildings is amazing...so much architectural detail. The City Park soccer club stadium is right across from the hotel which helps this area remain vital and vibrant. The hotel lobby light show was beautiful and a great feature. The aquarium was very well done. All the Union Station experiences are well worth it. The service was excellent and the staff were so friendly. The room was nicely decorated and looked clean, but a more thorough detailed room cleaning is due. The Union Station hotel is the right place for history lovers looking for a unique experience. Great for families too. I hope crime isn't allowed to take over - it would be such a shame to lose all these treasures of architecture. We didn't feel safe walking too far off Market Street, so we drove to the City Museum, the Gateway Arch, and other places.

Nice, clean room. Hotel lobby was impressive and we enjoyed the light shows in the lobby in the evening. We had to pay $40 extra for parking which I did not notice when we booked hotel, lot did have security 24/7. Aquarium and several restaurants were right on the property we only stayed one night and didn’t have to leave. Staff at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We did not use the outdoor pool but it looked like a nice set up. Would stay here again if we are in the area!

I love this hotel! Being in an old train station that has been beautifully preserved is such an awesome experience. It’s absolutely beautiful! Our room even had a view of the otter exhibit from the aquarium. This will always be my go to hotel when going to any event at the Enterprise Center.

I like how everything is so close to each other. How ever the food at the restaurant by the lobby was HORRIBLE. The service was just as bad. Sat there for 20 minutes before anyone came to greet us. And that’s after letting them know we were there.

We enjoyed the convenience of everything being right there and not having to leave the area. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. More lunch and dinner options would be nice Landrys is quite expensive and food is just ok. Faciity is beautiful and great for a evening walk around the koyi pond. The light show in the main area was really nice

Beautiful and historic common areas. Great staff, walking distance to museums, and restaurants. Beautiful restaurant but only open for breakfast and lunch. Store closed early so late night snacks were not available and there wasn't a nearby store open.
