Place is quite run down. The beds are not comfortable and they have no blankets on them. You can ask for one and you'll get something that came from the 80's. Very thin. Ceiling has water leaks showing and the bathroom door was falling apart from the hinges. Shower has almost no pressure and isn't very hot. Floor was dirty like it hadn't been mopped. The ice machine is filthy and the door to it is broken. The breakfast was ok if you want waffles. Milk looked quite sketchy. Everyone was so polite and the housekeepers were very comsiderate. It isn't the best but im sure it isn't the worst, either.

Liked the price because we got in late. The pool was closed as was the weight room. Rooms old, but they tried. To many homeless staying in the rooms. Went for breakfast and the homeless wiped out all the food. Put a bad taste in my mouth for this company.

If you’re coming for the pool, keep going. It’s been closed for a year or more. You can expect to get what you pay for with this place. Don’t expect champagne when you only want to spend beer money. The room served its purpose for a night of rest and the gentleman on staff late was a pleasure to chat with. He even gets the whole breakfast set up!

The grounds are greatly improved and well maintained. The only issue was bath towels and one had a hole in it. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.

This place is an affordable place among expensive choices. I have stayed at a couple in the area and Baymont is the one i will come back to. Clean and friendly. They should continue to improve the facilities.

Although the staff was very accommodating , I reserved a non smoking room. The smell was just terrible and almost unbearable. It was a very old hotel and not very clean. A revamp is sorely needed. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wonderful stay. The front desk associate at check-in was outstanding, treated us like we were checking into the Ritz. The room was extremely clean. This is safe area of hotels and shopping/dining. We didn’t have breakfast but noticed the area was very clean and offered the standard breakfast basics: waffle maker, breads and muffins, cereals, and fruit. My expectations for budget motels are usually low, but this was a truly fantastic stay.

This was the most disgusting room I've ever seen. First off, it was cold outside and they had us talking too them thru a window instead of letting us into the lobby. The door was hard to open with the swipe card, once inside we noticed that the door looked beaten, it had no locks to it. The bathroom door knob was about to fall off, no blankets were available only the sheet on the bed. The room had a nasty, dirty floor. You could tell it wasnt cleaned well, in the corners of the room their was cobwebs and dirt. Then I noticed cockroaches on the floor!! After having my 2yr old on the bed I moved it and saw a bunch more crawl around. Needless to saw I went back to the window and told them I found cockroaches and they didn't even seem surprised, they wanted to move me to another room. No thank you!! We left and found another hotel. This review has a place to add pictures but it's not working or I would most definitely leave some.

The room was not clean, the bed was hard the bed had blood on the end of the comforter, and there was a toe nail under my husband pillow. When I got there at almost 4 to check in there was as no room but the handy-cap room because they were not clean. I wish I would have spend my money else where . The fridge was not working. Was really looking forward to staying away in a hotel for the first time with my husband and it was not at all what we hoped.

This property was in very poor condition. Our linens were dirty, the water sink did not have running hot water, the floors and walls had dirt and food all over them, the bathroom door knob was broken, the room smelled of stale cigarettes, the bathroom had pubic hairs in the toilet and bathtub, the garbage still had garbage in it from previous tenant. I would never recommend someone staying here.

Right next store to a Texas Steak House and a Buffalo Wild Wings, as well as other dining and shopping choices. This was an overnight stay on my was down the east coast from CT to FL. The only negative I have to report is that the internet Wifi speed was exceedingly slow. Other than that, the place was fine.

Its an old motel with new paint, first room had the bathroom door broken just hunged with the upper hinge could fall any time, the room was sourrounded by other construction workere from both sides , they had there utility truckes parked next to each others and the room was right at the center, si i asked for another room at the other side of the bulding. Room is an avreage motel room the only thing made my stay not comfortable the conectting doors on both sides of the room had no insulation or sound muffing, so on one side i had to listen to that room TV show and smell the micowave TV dinner getting cooked, on the othe side had to hear an old leady coughing all night , so basically my sleep was interrupted all night long. The continental breakfast was ok ,

First room seemed ok, however the shower sprayed water everywhere. Walked to the front desk since there was no phone in the room. The desk agent stated I couldn’t change rooms (due to night audit beginning), but she changed the room anyway, the second room had no heat, I called the desk from my cell phone, I was told there were no other rooms available. When I stated I’d call corporate I was told they aren’t governed by corporate, when I reminded her of the Wyndham part of their name, my room was changed. The floor of the room was dirty. Overall, not a good experience at all. Won’t be returning.

My stay was very pleasant and the staff was wonderful. I left one night earlier because i became sick with asthma. I was not given a refund back for that night. Everyone seemed to have passed it over like I stayed there. I asked for trash bags from the time i got there, none was never given or put in the room. 5 nights.

There was a spider in the room and I got bit. That made me very unhappy. At breakfast, at 8:40 am, they had run out of most things. The service at the front desk and at breakfast was fantastic though.

If you’re coming for the pool, keep going. It’s been closed for a year or more. You can expect to get what you pay for with this place. Don’t expect champagne when you only want to spend beer money. The room served its purpose for a night of rest and the gentleman on staff late was a pleasure to chat with. He even gets the whole breakfast set up!

Clean room with no carpets. Close to restaurants and shopping. Only negatives were that the water pressure in shower could have been better and room lighting could have been brighter. Friendly staff. Waffle maker!!!

Wonderful stay. The front desk associate at check-in was outstanding, treated us like we were checking into the Ritz. The room was extremely clean. This is safe area of hotels and shopping/dining. We didn’t have breakfast but noticed the area was very clean and offered the standard breakfast basics: waffle maker, breads and muffins, cereals, and fruit. My expectations for budget motels are usually low, but this was a truly fantastic stay.

This is the place if you like mold, slippery floors and stained linens. Only reason I stayed is I really needed a couple hours of sleep while traveling. I did NOT bring my luggage in because of fear of bugs. AVOID UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE

The Baymont location in Smithfield NC is not up to the standards of the Baymont brand. The rooms are suffering from benign neglect. Broken lights, dangerous electrical connections, microwaves removed, stolen hair dryers, beat up furniture. I suspect that Baymont bought this hotel from another hotel chain. To their credit, they did have a nice breakfast. The young lady that was the night manager was very accomodating. The housekeeping staff needs to be fired and/or the manager. Room deficiencies must be found by staff and documented on incident reports so that building maintenance people can address.The outside of the building is dirty. Cigarette butts, etc. all over. Major corporate scrutiny is needed.
