Visited with my daughter.. we picked this hotel because she likes to swim & I like to use hot tub. When we arrived staff said both were closed which was very irritating as we would have stayed elsewhere had I known. We got a call saying pool was ok to use but felt uneasy about using because was told no one had used for 2 weeks and didn't want to risk it. The room the clean but we could hear hallway noise throughout the night. I could have saved $50+ and stayed across town. Breakfast was basic but nice.

We stayed in Wahpeton as we traveled from SD to MN. Travelodge was a good choice. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The pool/hot tub was one of the best we saw on this trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. One thing to be aware of, they do not have elevators. If this is an issue for you, you might want to request a first floor room.

The beds were decent and firm. The inner blanket was scratchy though. The heat/air unit was so loud we had to unplug it. Found old cheerios and some random hair clip. Absolutely no hooks in the bathroom. Breakfast was mediocre...raisin bran was stale and the muffins were hard. No spa/jacuzzi even though it is listed online. The pool was cloudy and cold.

The breakfast was not a lot to talk about, No hot breakfast. The pool had something like algae or film on top. The pool was out of order. Disappointed about the pool.

This hotel has AMAZING staff! They were so friendly and helpful. You can tell the hotel itself was outdated, it did have a funny smell, the rooms smelled as well. The beds were upgraded and comfortable. Bathroom had some issues, with cracked tile, grimy corners and leaky faucets. But my shower was hot, and pressure was good. They advertise a hot tub, but there was NO hot tub so that was a huge bummer for us. For $170 a night, one would think they could update their amenities. Breakfast was basic, but well stocked and I didn't leave hungry. One other complaint was the noise from the hallway, there is a large gap under the door, and very thin doors. We were woken up at 6am with yelling kids and doors slamming. Overall, with the limited options in this town, I would stay again, making sure to pack my ear plugs and leave the swimsuit at home.

Hotel was ok. Had a weird smell the night I arrived. In the morning it smelled like raw sewage in the hallway outside my room. Breakfast room barely had any lights on and wasn’t sure it was open. Pastry options were already running out at 6:45 am.

The room smelled awful to the point it gave me a headache. The doors to the room and the outside door were loud, and hard to open and close. There's no counter space in the bathroom around the sink, and I hate putting my toiletries bag on top of the toilet! The breakfast didn't have any fresh fruit or healthy choices, the eggs had some nasty spam or sausage pieces in it. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

When we arrived at 3:30 there were no rooms ready yet despite check in at 3:00. They found us one shortly but others were told to come back later. The room was clean and in good condition although dated. The entire town stinks bad. Not really the hotels fault but they should lobby the city to take care of it.

The only negatives are as follows, The heating unit in the wall was too noisy, I could not put it into a low speed mode for the fan, it was always full blast. The breakfast bar is weak on offerings, mostly carbohydrates. Had eggs on the weekend and no meats, but on Monday no eggs or any meats. Hotel is certainly good otherwise.

The Front Desk worker seemed annoyed to help me when I checked in at 3:15pm - like I was "too early"...check in stated 3pm or later. Over all terrible value for what you pay. Would not recommend staying here. Better off sleeping in your car instead of shelling out $200 for a MID motel at best.

Very nice staff. Pleasant to work with!! We had stayed the prior weekend and mentioned we would like a room for this visit in the same vicinity. They called us 3 days prior to check in and told us they had secured what we wanted. Very happy!! The only down side is the limited breakfast. Not much to choose from especially on a diabetic diet. But we made it work.

Was able to check in earlier than expected. Got the key for the room before it was clean because I was coming back late. Manager was great about it. A . Got to room late and didn’t have to worry about checking in. Walked in right to the room.

Not allowed to check in until 2 hours after checkin as they didn't even start cleaning the 2nd floor rooms until 430 pm. Lots of people waiting. Breakfast wasn't stocked. Staff was rude. Not very cleanly.

We were up in Fargo for a family adventure but didn’t want to stay in the city. This lovely town offered everything we needed and the front desk had a map for us. The side entrance smelled a bit of smoke so we were worried, but the room itself was clean and cool. The AC thankfully had a remote since it is placed so high you can’t see the buttons (or at least I couldn’t). The pool and hot tub were lovely after lots of walking.

The continental breakfast was very limited. We asked about it during checkout and was told that guests can go to one of the other Wyndham properties for a hot breakfast. They said we should have been told about that during check-in but we werent.
