Comfort Inn Bordentown near NJ Turnpike

No pool no good breakfast, so cheap,

Tv and internet not working, insects in room and corridors and pool was OOO

Pool was closed… it was not told during booking

A Pool was advertised but was informed when I arrived that it was closed until next year.

Property pool on top of being small was dirty GREEN and had a chair sunk in the middle! A pool should not be advertised. The room was dated...ok. but the curtains were dirty, not stained...dirty. staff was very nice. But the place is not recomendable.

The property was in disrepair, pool was not available, breakfast was below subpar, ice machine only on main floor, bathroom room door squealed like a pig opening and closing, making it hard to stay asleep, bath tub spout shot off while showering! Overall poor experience!

Everything was dirty. Sheets were stained with hairs on them. Walls looked nasty. Halls and elevator walls and floors were nasty. Breakbar was subpar at best. When notifying staff about spills from other guests, they seemed mad. Being used and being dirty is 2 different things. This was dirty.

Breakfast menu was lacking. No where near as good as other Comfort Inn's I have stayed in. There was no yogurt, no fruit, no oatmeal, no hot foods like eggs or potato's and no juices. Parking lot was full of cigarette butts. One of the lamps was rusty. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the a/c woked fine.

Overall for what I paid the property met my expectations. I was in the area for a 3 day basketball camp my son was attending. Although check-in was at 3 I was in the area early because my son had to arrive at 8:15am for camp. I went to the hotel at about 9 and the staff was very accommodating and said I could check in at 11 for a really low fee. Although the rooms need some renovating my room was very clean. Breakfast was simple but again great for what we paid. We had fresh bagels and bread, cereal, fresh pastries, and of course the most important since I was traveling with children the waffle station. A big plus the breakfast was available up to 9:30am. They had water, coffee and tea 24hrs and an actual working Ice Machine. They also had vending machines. The pool was open and it was well maintained. My youngest really enjoyed it.

Not clean! Food on floor in room/not vacuumed. Exposed pipes in shower. Paint pealing off of ceiling. Safety latch on our door has been removed/not present, door had huge gap in frame. Common area halls and floors in need of mopping. Elevator walls filthy. Pool NOT open, kids were very upset. Avoid this place. Area was safe though, that’s only plus

The sheets and towels were stained, there were blood stains on the bedspread, the curtains were broken and dirty and there wasn’t any conditioner. There were cigarette butts all around the entrance that hadn’t been cleaned up, there were very little options for breakfast and the items in the refrigerator were frozen. Overall not very happy with th hotel.

The bedding on one of the beds was dingy and stained. The room was dusty and had not been cleaned.

The property was dirty and the hotel room smelled bad. There were stains on the white bed sheets and towels. The bathtub didn't drain properly.

Sheets were stained with hair on them. The room was disgusting. We checked out as soon as we checked in.

From the outside it looks ok. Inside, this place was a mess! The rooms with connecting doors are atrocious. The doors are SUPER CHEAP and do not block ANY sound. After getting a room change I discovered it could get worse - the rooms without connecting doors were FILTHY. I wish I remembered to take pics. The bed was dirty, the walls were dirty, the floors were dirty. There were smashed bugs on the wall, the (once) white duvet was dirt stained. The bathroom tub had a drain spout that was hanging on for dear life. The elevator floor had large clumps of dirt and sticky mess all over it for 3 days. Avoid this hotel at all costs! The discounted price isn’t worth it. The “long term residents” of the hotel go in and out to their cars all hours of the night. There are a number of large trucks in the lot they sit in, run their engines, and a car will pull up next to them for a minute, and then they come back inside. You can decide for yourself what is going on.

Very dirty. They didn’t change the sheets after the previous occupant. Realized it from the smell. Asked them to give a different room to which they said they don’t have any available. They gave me some clean sheets so that I go and change on my own, which I ended up doing. Breakfast area was super dirty. Nobody cleans it until the end of the breakfast time. I thought Comfort inn was one of best among the cheaper lodging and they watch over the quality . I guess it completely depends who runs the branch/location

Dirty, smelly, and run-down. Broken curtains, stained furniture, sticky carpet, beds that looked slept in, trash in the parking area, filthy common areas, and the bar lock on the door had been broken off. Absolutely not worth the money. Had to request a room change. Had it not been late having already traveled eight hours… We would’ve requested a refund and found somewhere else to stay. Anywhere else would be better.

Heater wasn’t working. Switched room. Hair in bed, rug dirty, door unfinished, bathroom ceiling cracked. I know not a top flag but should be clean

Breakfast was terrible with no choices except waffles. Nothing to drink or any other options. Very poor wifi. Slow. Phones not working in the room. While shower turn on was explained and posted very difficult for elderly customers to operate.

The first room we were put in had a multitude of issues, TV was missing both remotes, aTV was actually cracked and broken. There was only one single hand towel wash cloth and towel. When I tried to call the front desk the phone was broken. There was visible mold around the air conditioning unit. There was food left in the refrigerator from a previous guest.They did make it right and move us to a different room the older woman at the front desk was fantastic and had excellent customer service skills. Just was not impressed at the disaster of a room they first put us in.

We had to switch rooms three times because the carpet was soaked from the leaking A/C units and the rooms wreaked of mildew. There were mildew stains on the walls. The ceiling in the bathroom paint was peeling. The toilet ran all night.There was visible mold spurs coming from the venting systems. The jetted tub/whirlpool were broken and only made noise when you turned them on. I believe the motor was burnt out because there were no pressure nor was there any bubbles populated from the jets. There was various traces of hair, a soiled sock and a piece of ham from previous guests left behind under the desk.The Internet didn't work so there was no television to watch. The refrigerator was rusted and stained. There were cigarette butts and other smoking paraphernalia in front of the property that appeared to have been there for a while. When we complained of these issues we told by the first front desk attendant that he just worked there and he would send housekeeping. NOT. He even charged us a $25 early check in fee to access the rooms at 2pm. We were told that they were working on the Internet and it should be working when we return. NEGATIVE. We had left for a few hours for dinner only to return to another attendant to be even more rude, nonchalant and belligerent. We asked him for the corporate's number and he told us to get out of his face and Google it for ourselves. Unfortunately both attendants refused to provide us with their names and neither wore name tags.

Photos do not match the property whatsoever. There were holes in the ceiling and walls. The toilet bowl was cracked in TWO different places and the tub was cracked and patched up all over. Dust bunnies everywhere, the room smelt awful and was just not a fit place to stay in. Packed the car back up and left, it’s been 4 days and we are still chasing a refund!!

The staff was very sweet . However the rooms were sub par. The breakfast wasn’t the greatest either . I wish the quality of the front desk matched everything else . In my fiancés pillow case was a small little jar of Vaseline , the spickett in the shower was so difficult to turn . TV didn’t work , so we were unable to watch it

A little outdated. Front desk guy wasn’t rude or nasty. But it’s definitely time for renovations. A lot of cracks in the walls of the showers and walls I general. I’ve seen worst. I’d stay again if I had to.

Yesterday travel from Maryland to nj and try to stay at the hotel,but end up leaving the hotel at midnight back to Maryland the the lady in the front desk is terrible no manners whatsoever treat the costumers like crap,when i finally went to the room i rented the beds were undone like someone just got up from them i told the lady about it and she said it was not her problem Terrible experience i won't recommend that place i was with my son and she insinuated that i was there to have have with that person

The hotel had lots of wear and tear but was comfortable, clean and affordable. The staff were very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast was lacking but it was overall i decent stay. I would stay there again.

What a poor "Choice" we made with this motel. Non-refundable, of course. We had a horrible 4 night stay at this stinky place. Our room was filthy, refrigerator rusty, no roll in toilet paper holder, toilet seat broken, telephone broken and wires on the floor by the air conditioner. Breakfast was a joke - 3 bins of stale cereal, stale donuts, no fruit in sight and napkins consisted of a large roll of brown paper that you had to rip off like you find in rest rooms. The owners - the Patels - were extremely unfriendly and quite put out if you asked for more towels or a pillowcase, which was missing when we checked in. No one told us there was no room service for 3 days. No one told us you had to put your trash out by your door daily. One day I asked a slovenly front desk woman where the pool was so I could go out and read. She barely looked up from her phone and pointed down the hall. The gate was locked, so I walked back and told her. She very rudely and loudly said "Of course it's locked! It's been closed all summer!" Can you imagine treating customers this poorly! When we travel, we like cleanliness and professionalism. Never again will we stay at any Choice Hotel. I would think that Corporate would inspect their motels more frequently.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Where to start… We did not have a lock on our door. The water did not work and taking a shower/bath was not realistic. Our room was dirty and filled with water/damp upon arrival. They don’t offer housekeeping. Put your garbage in the hallway. There is garbage just lining the hallway as you walk to your room. Given that we did not have a lock on our door, we did not feel safe to stay for the several days that our reservation was originally scheduled for. We talked with staff about our concerns who were less than helpful. When I talked to the front desk on the phone, I was hung up on. we were told that we would be getting a refund for the remainder of our stay but I have yet to see the refund

We were on a couples trip. This hotel had a 7.5 out of 10 rating on hotels.com. We checked in after golfing during the day on Friday. I had requested a handicap room with hand bars in the bathroom. They had one room on the 1st floor which was good. However when we got to the room it looked like they must have been using that room for long term guest. The carpet had large stains. The mattress cover was ripped up and hanging out the bottom of the bed. The curtsins were off the pully and couldnt be shut. Remember we are on the 1st floor. The microwave and the refrigerator were dirty. There was a place for a hairdryer however there wasnt one in the room. When i reported the problem to the front desk the staff went out of their way to try to fix what they could right away. The staff was excellent very friendly and helpful. The place was run down. The breakfast was nothing more then waffles, cold cereal and a few pastries. There was no juice or fruit. They only had green tea we are black tea drinks. They also didnt have an attendent to keep the breakfast area cleaned up. I would not stay here again

Convenient to the highways.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hallways were not so clean. It was close to a very good place to eat. Check in was very nice and he was very friendly.

Check-in was alittle ratchet. The free breakfast included coffee and make your own waffle. The juice machine was broken the entire stay. The hotel is located 10 miles from a major shopping center I.e Walmart, BJ’s, Home Depot, Loews. Dollar tree, jersey mikes, etc. overall my stay was a 7 out of 10. Don’t depend on the “free breakfast. There’s a WAWA across the street from the hotel.

I liked my stay. I would like more options for breakfast. I am diabetic and every thing for breakfast included waffles, cereal, donuts, and toast. Including eggs or a type of meat would be better.

Upon walking in the front lobby had an overwhelming smell like someone used way too much air freshener. The check-in was quick and staff was nice enough. The elevator was dirty. The room was clean but run-down. Wallpaper coming off wall. The bathroom lighting is very dim! I was looking for a second switch but there was none. We opted not to eat the Breakfast m. There was not one healthy option. If you want donuts, waffles sugary cereals and pastries you’re set. No fruit, yogurt or oatmeal. Not even a whole wheat bread or bagel.
