Attended a concert and stayed here with our family. It was a very convenient location and the hotel provided a shuttle. Great breakfast and ample parking.There is an outdoor patio with some beautiful plants and a koi pond that’s just beautiful.

Great location, they have a shuttle to American Dream making it really convenient. Their breakfast is decent. The only drawback is they have 2 elevators which back up quickly during peak season. If you need your room cleaned, you need to give them advance notice. If not, the room is cleaned every other day, but make sure to double check. Rooms are a good size and I'll use a small fridge.

Everyone treated us very good. It was clean the breakfast was very good. The house keepers work very hard. Employees always cleaning the rooms and the breakfast area. Breakfast 100% love the coffee/tea 24hrs. Everything was excellent. Thank you!

Easy and ample free parking. Rooms and lobby very clean. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Although the morning breakfast buffet can be crowded, the selections and quality of items were impressive. Free coffee and tea in the lobby a bonus. Free shuttle van to and from the American dream mall. A short drive down the road leads to chain restaurants, independent restaurants and cafés. It is a short five minute drive to the American dream mall where parking is five dollars. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was great, wonderful breakfast. The only thing not great was the shower. It had very little water pressure and the shower head was so high we couldn't reach it to adjust to see if that was the cause. We were really on a tight schedule because of our flight, so we weren't able to take a shower.

They placed me in room 215 which is directly next door on the opposite side of the wall - hearing BOTH loud elevators ALL NIGHT! I didn't get any sleep. Absolutely HORRIBLE!

We had two rooms next to each other. 433 had ZERO water pressure in the shower which made it impossible to wash hair. 435’s shower was great. Also, every single outlet in 433- every plug would fall out. Cords had to be rigged to stay in, including the refrigerator which was not on (thanks to the cord falling out) when we got there. Loose outlets are fire hazards. Breakfast was impressive and everything else about the stay was great. Close to American Dream and NYC.

Handy spot to stay before our cruise that left from bayonne. Bus stop located across the street for transport to new york city via the tunnel for touring. Friendly staff. Clean and quiet room, although the door closures are very loud (no silent openings or closings of the door, waking family).

I absolutely loved this hotel. The staff I dealt with were all world-class and went above and beyond. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The room was clean, air conditioning was cranking. Parking was easy. Amazing location right across from American Dream. The breakfast buffett was amazing. I can't understand how this is rated a 2.5 star hotel. It is nicer than many 4 star hotels I stay at.

The staff was friendly and very helpful especially with directions on catching the bus to NYC. The room was clean and spacious. We had two queen beds. The only complaint I had was how firm the mattress was. The included breakfast was very delicious and included many options! There was always coffee available in the lobby, which was a nice touch!

Hotel was truly fantastic except for one male front desk employee who couldn’t have been more dismissive and condescending during 3 separate interactions throughout a two-night stay. He should probably change careers. Simple polite questions conveyed, short defensive “you are stupid” responses each time. Two dysfunctional room key cards after a busy day 2 prompting a visit back down 5 floors to the desk should prompt at least a mild “sorry about that.” Instead we got “ID,” and new key cards slapped down on the counter. Complimentary breakfast was good and well organized.

We took their shuttle service to go to the game. It takes you to Redd’s and then you take another shuttle to the Metlife stadium. Coming back, the hotel shuttle didn’t come to pick us at Redds leaving us stranded after midnight. When we called the hotel, we were told the driver had left for the night. There were over 60 hotel guests left stranded, we weren’t the only ones.

When checking in at the lobby the staff said the expedia did not pay and that my payment was declined since it was a third party so basically she wont let me check in eventhough i had an email for reservation stating that it is all set. Until she called the manager and they both were giggling and just said oh nevermind you are all set Ma’am! It’s just that we have a different rate today. Ugh! That was so unethical! I will never stay at this hotel anymore!

Front desk staff were nice and friendly. We took the shuttle to American Dream Mall. We thought it would be a great idea. We wouldn’t have to carry bulky coats around while shopping since it would be door to door service in a heated shuttle. At the end of the evening when I called for the shuttle to pick us up we were told to wait outside where we were dropped off. It would be there within 10 minutes. However, I had to call the hotel several times. We were left waiting outside for over an hour in the freezing cold. We were later told that the driver had to stop for gas before picking us up. That seemed to be a poor excuse. It doesn’t take that long to get gas. As the mall is only 2 miles away from the hotel. When we got in the bus it wasn’t heated up. It’s a little bus. It was obvious the bus came directly from being parked at the hotel.

Front desk was extremely off putting, made us feel like a burden! Room was not ready for hours, and they scoffed at us when we asked for an estimated wait time. On top of that, we asked to be called when a room was open, which they also did not do. The room on the other hand, was extremely clean! Bathroom was sparkling and spacious. While we understand having to wait, the front desk staff (morning shift) was honestly kinda rude, and left a bad taste in our mouths. Wish they were as nice as the property!

My family and I checked in for a 1 night stay while visiting NYC and the surrounding area. The gentleman (unfortunately, I didn’t ask his name) at the front desk was accommodating and knowledgeable. He gave me a bus schedule including all of the details and FAQ to make this process as smooth as possible. The only reason I gave 4 stars to the property condition was due to a broken shower. However, when I went to the desk the gentleman once again was accommodating to my request and gave us a new room. Overall excellent experience.

The property itself is well kept. I found the downside as that it is advertised as within 20 minute walk to Metlife stadium but you cannot actually walk. There is a shuttle that runs which worked out but that should be clear in the ad for the hotel.

The Hampton Inn is a great location for a family visiting NYC! The NJ bus stop was right across the street, and took us directly to the NYC bus terminal. The breakfast buffet was delicious and my family enjoyed the daily options.

The hotel and room was great but the breakfast had good food but a really long wait because of the waffle machines. We waited at least 20 minutes the first day and the rest of our food was cold. Just about the same on the second day. They need to make breakfast until 10:00 not 9:00. And there was not enough seating.
