The hotel, staff, and property were all great! It lacked in the smaller touches that made the difference in my rating. 1. No free coffee in the morning. The in room option is miniscule, if you want an actual cup of coffee, you have to pay for it-and its hours are limited. That is a huge negative to me. To be fair, hot chocolate was offered. 2. The shower has dispensers that I couldn't read what was in them- i never figured out what was soap or shampoo. I ended up wasting more than I used. I can't be the only one who had this issue. 3. It was 50 degrees out so I sat in the courtyard. The stored cushions were filthy so I didn't use them. 4. The hotel still has carpeting. Another negative to me. Small things make a good hotel great. This hotel lacks the small things and attention.

Only spent 1 night, had a wedding nearby, but hotel was very clean, modern and pretty. The lobby bar was great and open till about 2am. One thing to note was that uber either didnt recognize this place or just isnt in the area, so if you don’t want to drive, use lyft.

This property is surprisingly attractive for its brand and price. We enjoyed looking out from our balcony over the grounds. The room was very clean and had all expected amenities except a microwave. Our only cavil was the bed, it was slightly uncomfortable for my husband.

I traveled alone so didn\'t really know what to expect. i felt safe and enjoyed my time there. I liked the balcony (i was on the third floor looking over the courtyard) and the view. The restaurant was nice....i had breakfast twice. French toast excellent....burrito average. Girls at the desk and the bistro were very nice. Gym was small but had everything you need. The area was great too. Right off the parkway but no loud noise and a quick drive from lively Red Bank. Not too far from Shrewsbury and Asbury. my only "complaints" are i wish there was a pool...or a hot tub in the fitness area. I missed that there wasn\'t when booking. There\'s a lot of people there on business and when the doors close they SLAM so i heard doors until about midnight and then starting around 630am. Finally i\'m not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee so wish there was an option but that\'s really it. I\'d go bank.

Upon check-in, we came to find a large urine stain on the side of the toilet. It appears there hasn’t been very diligent cleaning. Aside from that, our stay was good.

The shower was horrifying. Standing water. A strange black streak on the curtain. The sheets did not fit the mattress, the room on sorely needed an update. We were a couple, but siblings were also staying here for family gathering. The other rooms were not any better, maybe worse. In one case, the HVAC system was fully disassembled with electrical wiring everywhere. In addition there was a youth hockey event, and a number of rooms were booked for the kids, but not in one area, all through the hotel. The kids were running through corridors screaming with no parental involvement, and setting up games in the hallways of every floor screaming at 7 in the morning. The hotel did nothing to construct a useful, separate or isolated area for this kind of activity.

Went to front desk at 2:30 am first night of my stay. no1 was there . At 3:30 I used the app to ask for pillows as we had my 4 year old daughter sharing the bed with us. They said they have no pillows available. They don’t answer on the app for 1 hr before telling me this. It was then 4:30 am. There was also a wedding going on and people yelling in the hall ways until 5am. All on the first night of our stay

Totally uncomfortable bed, pillows, no pail in shower/toilet area, no vented/fan lighting in bathroom, one mirror only in whole room, lighting is inadequate, too dark especially for makeup application or poor vision person. Doors too thin, hear everything, and family staying in other area of building said the same. For a Marriot, highly disappointing..needs serious upgrades!!

I went to the Courtyard by Marriott to be with my family member who was going through a medical emergency and was in Riverview Medical Center. I was traveling with my sister, who is handicapped. When checking in, the person at the desk was extremely helpful, kind and courteous. He was able to give me a handicapped room near one of the entrances. I truly appreciate his kindness.

Came to hang in Red Bank for the night and stayed on this property which is only 5 min away from all the action. Property was clean, as well as the room. Perfect for a few night stay. Will def be coming back!!

We have stayed here many times and this time, once again, met all of our needs. Courtyard Marriot always makes the mark with 5 stars. A pleasant evening was topped off with a delicious breakfast. As usual, thanks to the whole staff as well as the folks at Expedia for your help..
