Love the location, comfy beds, attentive staff and beautiful property though clearly aging. For negatives, if you arrive on day they are hosting weddings, may have difficulties finding parking and possible night noises when wedding guests coming back to their rooms at night. Also would love to have a refrigerator in the room.

Very nice hotel. Lovely restaurant for breakfast, on the expensive side but very good quality. Pool nice but got very busy on a weekend afternoon-had to get a wristband from reception which we weren’t told at check in. At this price point I’d expect a porter to help with doors, it’s difficult bringing suitcases through doors without help opening them. Staff very friendly. Easy walk into Red Bank. Parking good, gets busy with events over the weekend

Booked a Garden Deluxe Ground Floor room Ground floor is actually below the basement No elevator to the floor. No luggage cart offered Takes a good 7 minutes to go from room to lobby. They sell pool passes to virtually everybody so pool is very crowded and they host many events that curtail access to rooftop area. And you can’t get in the pool without a wristband was not told that at check in So everyday you want the pool you have to go to the front desk…Rooms are old and shabby Shower head well below 6ft and pressure so bad felt like I was showering with a garden hose. Not worth the big money they charge

Room was spotless and very comfortable. So happy that I didn’t have to request feather-free pillows and bedding. Restaurant has a lovely view of the Navesink River area. Special shoutout to Josh (who checked us in). He’s a sweetheart and could not have made us feel more welcome. We were in town to attend Little Feat show (at the Count Basie Theater). When we returned after the show, Josh was waiting to hear about it. We had a lovely trip and will happily stay at the Molly Pitcher again.

The building was very pretty and the location was great. The main halls and elevators had no air conditioning and were quite humid. Our room was clean but had an extremely stong musty odor though there was no visible mildew or mold.

Property is beautiful, the food is excellent and not overly expensive. The bathroom in the room does desperately need an update. Black mold should not be growing up the wall or behind the wallpaper that is peeling back.

I was traveling with my friend for a girls weekend so I booked a room with double beds. When I checked in I was told only king rooms or suites rated a mini fridge and coffee station in the room. The bathroom tiles around the bath spigot had mildew and there was brown stains in the tub. The tub was very high and there were no grab bars or towel rack outside the tub. There were no hooks to hang your clothes in the bathroom and only 1 hook and four hangers in the closet. No light in the closet. Bed was comfortable with six pillows. Housekeeping was very noisy. Banging every door in the hallway and yelling at each other. Very limited menu in the main dining room and for room service. Not vegan/vegetarian friendly. No entrees for you just salad.

I was not sure what floor I was going to, but I told them I hope is not like in a basement because I am allergic to mildew and dust and the exhaust in the bathroom is full of caked dust. Lo and behold my room was closed to the ground level and it smelled like mildew and also a foul smell coming from the rug. Unfortunately not a happy stay there. I want to let the hotel management know.

The hotel is a historical hotel in Red Bank and a beautiful lobby, bar and restaurant. Breakfast was very good and affordable for the style and price. Certainly on par with some of the other places for breakfast around Red Bank. The bed the room was comfortable and they were able to provide non allergenic linen and pillows upon request. The room we were in was probably the smallest in the hotel and felt cramped. The bathroom was tight and had no water pressure for a good shower. Something that a hotel of this caliber shouldn't have an issue with. There was also no refridgerator, but they were able to accomodate without any problems. The other annoyance was music being piped through the hallways, even during the night and as this is an old hotel, it can be heard and unfortunately, it's pop favorites and not something tranquil, so for light sleepers it can be heard through the walls along with other guests speaking in the hallway. Would I stay there again? Possibly, but would make sure what the room would be before confirming.

Our stay started off a bit rocky - bathroom was not clean (and no one came to correct it after multiple requests and assurances), room had a very bad odor, and the night manager was very dismissive. However, the Day Staff Manager, Jeff, along with Christina (sp?) were kind and super helpful and accomodating. They turned our stay completely around and enabled us to relax and enjoy our trip. Thank you to them both!!

Another Great Molly Pitcher stay! I have stayed here quite a bit over the years and am never disappointed. Our room on the first floor in the newer building was much larger than the rooms in the main hotel, with a patio on the pool, which was nice. Only complaint would be the prices of food/drinks at the pool (cheeseburger at lunch was mediocre) and no available pool loungers/towels due to rude people reserving chairs with towels and then never using them!

Very old drafty windows. Room facing front of the building was noisy with traffic and the local train. Dinner was excellent. Good ambiance and well prepared food from start to finish. Service during dining was excellent.

The Mollie Pritchard is a lovely old school hotel with a lot of charm. The rooms do not have a refrigerator but they will put one in the room if you ask for one ahead of time. I would give it 5 stars except that we were assigned a room on the ground floor, which is actually the basement. So the ceiling was low and it felt small and dark. These rooms are called “delux” and you must take stairs to get to it. We didn’t ask to switch rooms because we were only staying 1 night and were too busy and tired to make the effort. I would advise if you are staying here to make sure you get a room accessible by elevator. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable I would stay here again, but not in the basement

We were put in the basement in a smelly room. They moved us when we asked to be moved (to another basement room that wasn’t musty) but instead of cleaning the first room they just assigned another guest to it. Over $350/night for a basement room is ridiculously expensive.

We had a communion and decided to stay a few nights. This is the third time I have stayed here and enjoy this hotel very much. Very friendly and helpful staff, good food, clean facility. We will be coming back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the pool.

We stayed here because it was convenient as it was the wedding venue we were going to. The property is beautiful! The staff was friendly and attentive. The room itself was quaint but small. The mattress was comfortable. The bathroom wasn’t completely cleaned before our arrival. The toilet was clogged but attended to immediately by a friendly staff member. The tv remote was broken and missing the battery. Since we weren’t planning on watching tv we didn’t say anything about it until shortly before check out time. I believe they would have attended to it if was important for our stay.

Nice place, quite cozy. Only reason I would rate it at 4* is that check in was a bit unorganized. Room wasn’t ready when we arrived and some of the request we booked prior to our arrival were not ready either. Other than that it was a nice stay overall.

Room was nice but exceptionally old and probably need getting into the 21st Century. But it was allright. Bed comfortable and shower ok. Thought we were getting room in newer units but ok. Here is the one reason I would not go back. At 7:30 the housekeeping ladies were in the hallway closing doors loudly and laughing and giggling. Impossible to sleep. And when I went to their station and complained to them they giggled at me. I complained to from desk as we were leaving. Desk person was nice but not overly concerned. Not very goid

Horrible stay We were sent to a room all the way down to the basement , no elevator access only stairs carrying our own luggage - no one helped or care to even hold the door when we were coming inside ! When we asked to change the room because we couldn’t carry the heavy luggage they said they couldn’t because we booked through Expedia Finally after basically begging them they moved us one floor up ! We called to request a WiFi password and the hung up on us twice , we had to go to the lobby to ask ! Extremely rude staff , front desk was so so rude I cannot believe they treat people like that ! Never going back and NEVER recommending this awful place! Stay away !!!

Our stay started off a bit rocky - bathroom was not clean (and no one came to correct it after multiple requests and assurances), room had a very bad odor, and the night manager was very dismissive. However, the Day Staff Manager, Jeff, along with Christina (sp?) were kind and super helpful and accomodating. They turned our stay completely around and enabled us to relax and enjoy our trip. Thank you to them both!!

Cleanliness was everywhere! Room small, furniture big. Front desk was pleasant but when I called they were curt . Traffic at five getting out of driveway impossible. Missed the ceremony ! Took 40 minutes to get three miles; all because we could not make a left out of driveway! Place was lovely though! Grounds beautifully kept.

Stumbled across the Molly Pitcher Inn when looking for a place to stay for a concert in the area. What a great place! It was perfectly located and we were able to use the amenities while we waited for our room to be ready. Will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel and dining facilites were nice. The pool was crowded and there were no chairs available in the 4 hours there. The rooms were small, the ac wery noisy and the room damp/humid. Nice whish producta in bathroom but low pressure in shower.

I was traveling with my friend for a girls weekend so I booked a room with double beds. When I checked in I was told only king rooms or suites rated a mini fridge and coffee station in the room. The bathroom tiles around the bath spigot had mildew and there was brown stains in the tub. The tub was very high and there were no grab bars or towel rack outside the tub. There were no hooks to hang your clothes in the bathroom and only 1 hook and four hangers in the closet. No light in the closet. Bed was comfortable with six pillows. Housekeeping was very noisy. Banging every door in the hallway and yelling at each other. Very limited menu in the main dining room and for room service. Not vegan/vegetarian friendly. No entrees for you just salad.

From the moment we arrived at the Molly Pitcher inn till we left. The experience was excellent. The valet parking person, the front desk staff, the servers, and personnel could not do enough to make our stay positive. All staff went out of their way to assist and overall make it a very positive experience
