Motel 6-Pulaski, TN

I based our stay on the reviews and the price point. I never expect much for a $60-$80 room other than it to be clean and for everything to work (hot water, A/C, tv, etc). Check in was seamless and Nick was super friendly & helpful. Walking up the metal stairs to the 2 floor was treacherous, they were rusted so bad you could see through them to the ground. Our door was unlocked and had to be rammed close to get it to latch. Hot water was non-existent, the floor was so dirty my feet turned BLACK by walking barefoot for less than 5 minutes. Bathtub had hair and grime all in it. While trying to get the tv to work we found 2 Trojan magnum condoms on the ledge, unused thankfully. The towels were thin and FILTHY, cigarette burns in the sheets and this was. Non-smoking room! The A/C worked great and was ice cold, as did the mini-fridge but everything else was horrid. I’m not one to rip someone’s business, especially such a nice person as Nick, but I was disgusted by the room conditions and I don’t say that lightly. I view most places as just a place to sleep and l, as long as they serve that function well, I’m good to go. This Motel 6 was not even close to being acceptable and I don’t want anyone else to waste their money staying here like I did.

The pool is non existent

The hotel room was really nice and clean. The stairs are a whole different story...they need replaced as there's rust holes EVERYWHERE. The hotel staff were really pleasant and helpful!

Room was a great value. Staff was very nice. On premise restaurant was really good. Only downside was that pool was down for repairs. But either way this was very nice for the price.

I love this motel. The beds were amazing!! I usually stay on the ground level, but this time they put us on the second floor. The steps going upstairs are hazardous. Also, I was surprised to find the pool empty and closed. I didn’t see anything about this when I booked this trip.

The property was definitely not maintained like it should be, we found bed bugs in our room. Was refunded the money for the stay because we left early due to bugs.

Thank God this wasn't a long stay as usual. Upon walking in the non smoking room, it had a horrible odor. This was a cheap room so I chose to stay bc there was no where else around. The room had stains from being smoked in. But the worst part was the fruit flies that were infested in the room coming up from the drains. Never had a room have bugs so bad, I killed 2 roaches while staying there 2 weeks. The fridge didn't work froze my food and costed me to throw out. Not to mention cell service not good and internet didn't work well enough to do my classwork. My room didn't even have a table and chair to accommodate my needs like the other rooms. There were stains and rips in the sheets that were too small for the bed and kept falling off. The air didn't work right and would blow stagnant hot air. But the absolute worst part of my stay is having my door knocked on every day by housekeeping when I specifically requested them not to being as I work graveyard and sleep days. I didn't get a good sleep the whole 2 weeks being there and the room was unlivable. I simply worked and came and slept. Would not recommend. Find somewhere else. There are better rooms for the same price. This motel needs to upgrade for the price they charge.

Bed bugs!!! Water took forever to get warm. Never got hot

This property is massive. Makes it very confusing. Room was also very dirty. The room smelled of dog, so I mopped the floor 3 times. Every time the water was black. Same thing with the bathroom shower/towels. I swear my towels were used. There was feet prints on the bathroom floor towel that they hang over the tub. Along with a booger on one of the big towels. They maybe change the sheets and call it a day when cleaning a room. For a motel 6, I don’t expect a lot. But come on, at least change the towels. The bathroom had so much water damage the walls were falling apart.

I stayed in room 215 and got eaten alive by bed bugs. I checked out on Christmas Eve and had to miss my family's Christmas party. I was covered in itchy welts from head to toe and didn't want to chance spreading bugs in their home. I contacted Motel 6 to inform them of the bed bugs and they couldn't have cared less... I just hope somebody reads this review and it saves them from this nightmare I'm going through...

Roaches, it smelled bad, asked for extra blanket and was told they don’t offer that.

Clean room

Extremely filthy and dirty. Bed sheets and blankets were dirty and full of stains. I will not recommend even for free. Overall horrible experience

The room was very clean. The beds were so comfortable. The only thing is the pillows were very flat. They could use newer pillows or maybe 4 to a bed. Other than that, the stay was very nice.

There were roaches everywhere and it took forever to get my room key to work.

the property and staff were fine, the key didnt work and had to go back to the office once, not that big a deal, and franklt it was one of the better motel 6 ive stayed in, my only gripe was there was no hot water.....

No hot water. No matter what time of day. Was suppose to stay 3 days but only stayed 2. The sheets were stained and the blankets were rough.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The ice cube maker didn’t work, the coffee was terrible, there was no shampoo, but that’s ok as the shower faucet handle fell off as soon as I touched it, so couldn’t shower anyway! There was a very nice diner attached- delicious and healthy.

Our bathroom had bathroom moths flying around Bedspread had cigarette burns. AC leaked inside room to the first bed. Had to wait a few minutes for hot water from the shower. Hot and cold reversed on vanity sink

Phone didn't work

I had several gripes with the property: 1. Our door had one lock, the other lock though was broken off. It’s a $5 fix and yet it wasn’t fixed. Clearly cleaning staff could see this and report it to management. Prior to showing up. 2. The door clearly had been damaged as you could see through the closed door along the frame. Again, not great and felt like we had to stack things in front of the door just to provide privacy. 3. The bed sheets were in horrible condition. One bed sheet had all kinds of holes in it. The other bed’s bed sheet, had crusty or hard sections to the sheet (ick!). We were in town for a funeral and ended up borrowing sheets to actually sleep on. 4. The shower head was broken, when on, shot a stream of water over the shower and soaked anything on the other side of the curtain over the toilet.

Checking in the gentleman was very friendly. Room was ok, could use updating. It was clean. Pillows very flat and beds not real comfortable. For the price it was a good value. Clean and everything in good working order. So overall decent place for a one night sleepover

Very nice clean (smoking) room. Major turnoff was no hot water what so ever. Very inconvenient.

Room was clean & warm ready considering the weather was very cold outside. Front Desk gentleman was really friendly, interactive in conversation with me and helpful. I plan on visiting family/friends in the area a will plan to stay here again. Economical & good place to stay the night.

The heater in our room wasn’t working, so we were moved very quickly to a room with heat. Excellent new beds.

Super friendly owners and most important CLEAN sanitary rooms that are updated and COMFORTABLE BEDS! we've stayed here a lot over the past couple of weeks it's an awesome motel 6 we really like it a lot. Refrigerator and microwave in room.

Water heater broke halfway during our stay. In one of the rooms the water just completely decided to not to come out. Told the office no help at all. Asked for a discount.... no help at all. Dont waste your time or money booking here.

We have stayed at this Motel 6 in the past and was pleased but this time it was not good. No one at the front desk when we arrived. There was a sign that stated they were on the property and to call the number listed. Did that and still had a short wait when several employees showed up at the same time. This hotel has gone downhill within a year. Being our stay was on a Sunday, the restaurant next door was closed and I had to travel 10 miles to town (everything was closed) to find to find a not so good Mc Donalds for dinner. Our room: there was no coffee in the room only in the lobby, only one hard desk chair to sit in, stains on the blanket, bugs in the bathroom, elongated toilet seat on a round bowl (lol), mold in the bathroom around toilet. If we weren't so exhausted from our travel, we would have gone somewhere else. When you are in your late 70's, one would like to have a nice restful evening.

Not a fan! Hotel is old and run down. Office is across a mostly gravel lot. Staff though not rude was not overly friendly upon check-in and did not seem confident when answering questions. Room was very out dated and had many broken/worn features: bed spread was worn and had cigarette burns, soap holder broken off in bathtub, toilet lif was broken on the edge, heat was inconsistent (one part of the room had cool air blowing while the other side felt like a furnace, and it took over a half hour to get the water even slightly warm. (Water was never warm enough to shower and when mentioned to office we were told that they weren't used to cool weather in the area and the pipes weren't insulated. We are from only a couple of hours away and the weather we had during our stay was not out of the ordinary.) The location is convenient as it is just off of the interstate, but the are no services other than a gas station with a convenience store and a restaurant that is not open very often. You have to drive 25 minutes in order to find other food options. This area seems to have possible "extra curricular" activities going on since there were people driving in and out of the lot all night long, well after midnight, and car and room doors opening and closing continuously. Not a great place to get restful sleep.

This stay was exactly what I expected. Room was decent. Convenient to the highway. The grill attached to the hotel was good. I would stay here again

Good value, decent motel for affordable stay while traveling. No food within 10 minutes of motel so plan accordingly.

Property had alot of sketchy individuals surrounding it. The cleanliness could have been better.

It was ok for a overnight stay but not long. No one available in the morning to turn in keys. Beds uncomfortable. In the middle of nowhere. Nothing close except a couple of gas station. And they where expensive.

Great location to highway 65 Nick’s restaurant is awesome Staff is Great!

This motel is easily accessed off I 65. The check in staff was super helpful. We were pulling a boat and he made sure to get us a room near our boat parking. There was a nice restaurant onsite. The room was older but clean and comfortable.

We stay here every time we are in Pulaski. The staff is very kind, helpful and friendly! Nick’s Grill has the best food and is On-site. Our favorite hotel!
