Very comfortable room. Spacious. Great breakfast. The cinnamon rolls are the best!! Friendly staff. The pool is a little small, but the water temperature and room temperature was perfect! We atayed here while visiting some attractions in Canton. Everything that we had planned was about 15 miles away. Lots of construction on the roads, but easy enough to get places. We had trouble with one of the rooms being unreasonably loud at an unreasonable hour. Staff was quick to try to remedy the situation. Everyone we came in contact with was very pleasant.

Not as advertised. I chose location due to having indoor pool. Being early march in northern ohio indoor seemed like best option for swimming. Sign on door says pool closed. No dining or lounge within ealking distance, just a few convenience stores. Television had a very extensive printed lust of channels on desk. Not sure why they would print a list of unavailable channels. Room guide offers vending machines, however all machines are empty and a small shelf in lobby with an extremely limited selection of snacks and drinks. I travel to the area frequently on business and will not make the mistake of booking here again

Excellent stay, only negative was the hair dryer did not work. Other than that, it was an excellent stay. We have an EV and we were able to plug our car into an outlet in the back of the hotel under a light, right outside our room.

Check in was slow. The card reader wasn't working correctly and had to have them re-enter and reswipe several times . There was several policies on the counter about needing to use a credit card or debit card and not cash to check in. You don't see this at nicer hotels. Makes me wonder what problems there have been or who frequently uses the hotel that it is necessary to post those rules. Area seems safe and hotel is currently undergoing updates. Saws were going later in the morning . Checked out the gym and pool. About what you'd expect from a hotel gym. A few machines that were in good order and some free weights Pool floor seemed dirty. Room was clean with no odd smells. Bed was nice and firm. Shower pressure was good and the bathroom was clean. The morning breakfast was good. Though it was supposed to go until 11 on Saturday according to the sign and they were cleaning it up at 10:15 so be early. Check out was quick.

Was recommended by owners at the I-76 Antique Mall and was VERY pleased. Room had great ligh blocking window treatments, lots of pillows, was very clean and quiet. The ONLY thing that disturbed me about the room was that the A/C fan was kinda noisy even on low. I did not use the pool but it looked like it needed to be vacuumed. The continental breakfast was awesome.

This hotel was so dirty. My daughter and I stayed there for a night as part of our visit to Kent State. The only positive thing I can say is that it is close to the university. The first room we were put in smelled like someone was in there eating just prior to our arrival. There were crumbs on the nightstand and the beds were dirty. When I asked to be moved to another room the desk clerk said it was probably like that because the cleaning staff were eating in there! We were moved to another room and told that was the only other option available that night. That room also had a horrible smell, but the beds were “cleaner” than the prior room. We felt there was not other choice so we kept that room. When the heat kicked on an hour later the overwhelming smell of stale weed filled the room. Absolutely awful. It was so bad we turned the window unit off for the night. I would never stay there again and would recommend you don’t either.

Staff was extremely rude. Rooms were not properly cleaned. Trash behind bed carpets were sticky. Found a little tiny bug crawling in our shower curtain. The phone didn’t work the refrigerator stunk horribly and the remote only worked half of the time half of the time we were in and out we had to stop at front desk for them to re-code our key to get back into our room, when checking in front desk clerk tried to keep credit card extreamly unsatisfied will never stay here again

Great hotel! The only issue I had is that the room beside me was playing the tv loudly late at night (after midnight) and it was annoying. I didn’t tell the front desk about it, because it wasn’t a huge deal, but the walls made be a bit thin. Definitely not a reason to not stay here. Breakfast was good. One of the machines wasn’t working but there was still plenty of other stuff offered.

The room was ok.There were barely any outlets in this room to use.The blinds did not operate. We were not handicapped, and they put us in a room that was handicap accessible. This was not great. It was fine for a quick sleep but other then that it was not good.

This Holiday Inn Express was a solid property. Clean, relatively comfortable, convenient. The room was a little difficult to navigate in my wheelchair and the bed was too high for me to sleep in it. I slept on the couch. Above average stay.

We received excellent service from our arrival until we left for home. The front desk staff person was very patient kind and helpful. Everything looked new, it smells good and clean. The best part was the beds...most comfortable mattress of my life!

The property was very clean & convenient location. Checking in was a little different. The clerk was rude & very dismissive. The hotel's amenities were very good, but there's no excuse for rudeness in the hospitality industry.

We did not have air conditioning first night and it was 80 degrees in room. Phone did not work and we had to wait 15 min to get in our room. Maintenance came to help but they had a hard time with the lock. The lady at desk was nice when we left but said we couldn’t get a discount because we went through Expedia?

Nice hotel near highway and not far from Kent St. univ. nice room, adequate workout facility and good breakfast. Might need a little better lighting at entrance off of Rye. 53. At night it was difficult to see where the road was to turn into the property. I would stay here again if I was coming to Kent.

A great choice for travelers coming off I-80. Very convenient, yet far enough off that highway sounds are muted. Also, just steps to a good Mexican restaurant. Good beds, clean bathroom. Excellent overall.

I was pleasantly surprised in the building, inside and out. The room was immaculate and big! The clerk at the check-in desk was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast bar was very eye-pleasing and tasty. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express.
