The front desk staff gentleman with the fun hats was a delight and the bar side was great. The room was big and clean, no issues. The buffet breakfast was okay. The use of disposable everything is disturbing. The pool are was very neglected and not cared for at all. No garden or aesthetic appeal at all. . The location was perfect for us and we utilised the public transport.

Staff went above and beyond. We were disappointed that the pool was closed the whole time we were there since that was one of our reasons for choosing the hotel.the staff was very friendly and helped us tremendously since we were stranded there while our vehicle was being repaired. When we travel to Dallas this will be our go to hotel.

Pool was closed and filled with green water, the area around the pool was unkept. My room, a king suite, had a duct taped closed window and it was very noisy since it was facing a Main Street. The room itself was otherwise nice. I did call to change rooms but they had nothing available. The night time front desk attendant was sleeping and had no idea I was even there. Also I would call down to the front desk and no one would answer for periods of time.

The pool was too cold to use, too many trees covering the pool area which means no sun can come through and lots of leaves and birds mess on all of the loungers. However the hot tub was a good temperature. No kettle in the room. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Allowed us to have a late check out and held onto our luggage so we could make the most of our time before leaving for the airport.

People at reception are rude no smile no greetings I feel this weird greeting and little smile on your face makes others comfortable and pleasant other thing I dont like is floor carpets in my room was very dirty although we book room with our pet that doesn’t mean carpets should be dirty my pet is potty trained and very well behaved small shitzu everything else was fine .in the picture you can see the dirty carpet

The staff and area was great. Breakfast staff was very approachable and helpful. The hotel is in walkable distance to restaurants, cafes, and other amenities. I’m not sure if it was the vents or the carpeting, but my family got extremely sick while staying there. My family started sneezing and developed an itchy throat. Once we left, we were fine.

I booked this property after checking for a hotel close to the American Airlines arena. The property is a ten minute walk away. The rooms are plenty spacious with a mini kitchen. I would book here again.

The stay was great. I got a King room and to my surprise it was a suite. It had a kitchenette with a small stove top, regular size fridge, and sink and dishwasher, stocked with dishes. There was also a pull out couch which was great because I was visiting a family member and they decided to stay a night with me. My main complaint is that there was a strange sound that came from the bathroom, after staying for three days I figured out it was the AC which is installed above the shower. The sound is incredibly annoying, it sounds like a gurgling and whining sound. I also wish they had somewhere for me to sit outside and enjoy the weather. The entire pool area was shut down and there were no benches out front. But otherwise very great stay.

Everything was wonderful for the price point. I would definitely stay here in the future. I would, however, make sure that my room was not located on the front of the building in any future stays. The road was busy all night and the windows did little to block the outside noise. Everything else was wonderful, from the service to the facilities.

The air handler in the closet was disturbingly loud and seemed like it would kick on just as I was dozing off, startling me awake. I was disappointed that the pool was closed for no apparent reason. Also, there was piece of rubber in the transition from the kitchenette's tile to the living area carpet which was a major tripping hazard since it was ripped up out of the transition.

I told Hyatt Place Customer Service that I would be arriving late but when I got to the hotel, they said my reservation was deleted because of a late check in and that they would not reinstate the reservation. Then the front desk lady laughed in my face when I expressed my frustration. All around bad approach when the result is someone is effectively left homeless after a four hour drive to Dallas.

I told Hyatt Place Customer Service that I would be arriving late but when I got to the hotel, they said my reservation was deleted because of a late check in and that they would not reinstate the reservation. Then the front desk lady laughed in my face when I expressed my frustration. All around bad approach when the result is someone is effectively left homeless after a four hour drive to Dallas.

We were greeted with a smile and how can I help you. Check-in was quick and instructions on how to get to our room and other details we needed to know. The room was clean and comfortable. Check in was very slow and the clerk spoke very low and mumbled most of the time. Was a line for check in and another worker just stat at the other computer rather than help to check guests in. Stay was decent but hotel is very dated and is need of a revamp to truly represent the HYATT name. Breakfast was very very bland and was barely edible. Not one of my best hotel stays.

The breakfast was great, room was clean and stocked with the essentials. The hotel has a good location, walking distance to restaurants and the Katy trail. It was perfect for our family 5, 3 young kids. We especially enjoyed Tammy, she worked several days that we were there. She is so friendly and hospitable. She made our mornings very pleasant. Breakfast wasn’t the same when she was gone.

Found the Hyatt House by searching for the closest hotels to the American Airlines Center. Only about a ten minute walk. The staff was extremely welcoming and transparent and did a wonderful job at making me and my friend feel welcome. The next time I go to an event at the AAC, I will be staying again.

Hotel staff made check in easy. Room was clean and good size for daughter and I. Free breakfast was good and offered several options. Tammy is a great asset to your hotel. Greeted everyone who entered the dining room and always had a smile on her face. My reason for not rating excellent is the comfort of the bed. It was quite firm and we woke up a little stiff. We would most likely stay here again if visiting downtown Dallas.

There were a number of issues with the room. From a broken cabinet to stained floors to damaged tubs to ripped chairs. The second issue was their breakfast was less than subpar. I stay at Hyatt houses all over the country. The food was cheap, and the quality was extremely low. Bacon with burnt and very very thin. No fresh fruit just yogurt, eggs bacon bread. House is typically a three star hotel this was a one and a half

Tammy at breakfast was super nice and attentive. The front desk man was nice as well. The room wasn’t what I asked for and the carpet was pretty dirty. The A/C was struggling all night to reach temperature. Not the best Hyatt I have stayed at. No eggs at breakfast was a disappointment as well.

We chose the Hyatt House Dallas/Uptown because it advertised as walking distance to the American Airlines Center. It was PERFECT to be able to walk to the Center and back after a game. The room was quite large and the kitchenette came in handy. Breakfast was pretty good. Saturday's breakfast was GREAT with Tammy taking orders for customized waffles! We were bummed that the pool was closed, but all in all - a great hotel to stay at!

Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast choices were limited and not very good. Room was spacious and comfortable. Pool interior needs to be painted and landscape in the pool area needs attention. The neighborhood immediately around the hotel is not very pretty, but it is conveniently located.

The price-quality ratio is good. We went to an NHL game and it was an 8-minute walk to the arena. The breakfast was good. No American-style cardboard plates. I might come again.

The room was spacious and clean. Only problem was the water would not get get hot and it was late and early when I showered so not worth calling anyone to sort it out. The pool and hot tub was great. Breakfast had a great selection including the miso soup! The staff was very friendly!

This was my second stay at the Hyatt Place Dallas/Uptown, and overall, the location continues to be one of the biggest reasons I would choose this hotel. If you’re attending an event at the American Airlines Center, the location is extremely convenient. The hotel itself was clean and well kept, and the pool was perfect for my niece and nephew to enjoy during the heat of the day. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a significant communication issue between the front desk and housekeeping during our stay. Our reservation was for four guests—two adults and two children—but there were not enough towels in the room. After one person in our party actually had to use a hand towel to dry off, I called the front desk the following day and asked for additional towels and/or a room refresh. That request never happened. I eventually had to find housekeeping myself to get clean towels and have our trash removed. More concerning was that while we were away at an event, a hotel staff member entered our room and left a baby crib that we had never requested. When I called the front desk, I was told it had been delivered to the wrong room and was asked to place it in the hallway, which we did. Then, at almost midnight, someone was knocking on our door looking for the crib. Having someone knocking that late at night was frustrating and disruptive, especially with children in the room. The night before, we also had someone attempt to enter our room because they were apparently at the wrong room.
