This was not a good property. Very run down and lots of people just hanging around. Didn't feel particularly safe. The front desk person was not friendly, and the front desk area was cluttered and shabby. A stroke of good fortune, I suppose, is that they "overbooked" and I was turned away. My son and I wound up spending a lot more money than I hoped, but went to a decent place. I would not recommend this hotel.

Check in they told can not give second room they did not receive funds funny booked this all in one transaction finally got it straight after 1 hour both rooms tv problems one room was herifick curtains falling off rod carpet dirty i would not even wash my dogi in tub it no bed sheet bed spread holes in it no pillow cases no ice bucket this was the most discusting place on earth many people. DO NOT STAY HERE. Simple and plain. DON'T DO IT. Roaches everywhere. Condition of the room was HORRID. Holes in the comforter, holes in the walls, blood stains on the walls and furniture. Homeless people sleeping in the hallways and in their cars outside. NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN or any human being for that matter. Hotel advertises they have a hot tub. LOL. Don't be fooled by the amenity list. There is no hot tub. Breakfast is just an apple and granola bar in a paper bag, and only on weekends. The staff might not be friendly. There might be mysterious stains on the sink and curtains. The police might show up as you're trying to check out. But if you're just looking for a comfortable bed close to Dorney Park as I was, it'll get the job done.

Needed a place to sleep to break up my trip. I didn't want anything extra just clean sheets and a shower that didn't scare me. I guess they don't have to be clean if there aren't any. Everywhere I looked something was damaged or just torn off the wall. I have never seen a worse location under a national brand.

By far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel for work. There was a roach infestation so bad they were living in the microwave. If you’re curious, turning the microwave on didn’t seem to bother them. There were stains on everything, dead bugs throughout, and we only had a single very stained towel. Needless to say we left after suffering through the first night. Whole place smelled like an ashtray even in non smoking rooms, and the exterior doors didn’t have latches. Not secure at all. This hotel seriously needs to be demolished.

The front desk attendant was slightly rude and not very helpful. The condition of the hotel was poor and rundown. The cleanliness of the hotel was terrible (roaches, cigarette burns in the what appeared to be dirty bedding, trash and clothing all throughout the hallways and stairwells, etc)

The property is very run down. When I moved in one of the bed was propped up on a stick a giant fan was blowing in the room "to dry up the mattress" as the manager explained "helpfully". The room reeked of smoke even when I ordered non smoking room. The blanked and bedding was almost unwashed and the blanked had holes clearly from someone smoking while lying with it. The hall was noisy till late into evening. I would have asked for another room, but it sure seemed from the conditions of the hotel that I would have been non the better. To top it off, the morning I moved out someone pulled the fire alarm. It most likely was just some (justifiably) disgruntled guests pulling the fire alarm, but judging from the conditions of the motel it is probably better off to be just burned down, as long as no one gets hurt. TL:DR avoid it at all cost!

We booked this stay specifically because the website said they had a hot tub. When I called to ask the office about it they said it was a jacuzzi room and it had to be rented for an extra price. Very disappointed.

They had bed bugs and roaches broken ac mosquitoes and terrible breakfast they didnt have laundry or a hair dryer the tub was disgusting the bathroom ahad pubic hair they over charged me and kept some of my deposit because i spoke up about the nasty bloody sheet and bed bugs they had cigarette burns in pillows and sheet and the carpet was filthy so ffilthy we couldnt be barefoot and some one try to break in our room and my husbad lost his wallet and they didnt care and came checkout they bang on door and harrass until u do so and i was banned wothout my knowledge because i asked for a refund due to the bed bugs biting me and us sitting in the lobby to wait for manager

The staff member was very rude. When we explained that we meant to reserve a non-smoking room, we were told no changes even though there were available rooms. Then the key would not work and the staff member acted like we were a bother to him. The room looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. There were cigarette burns on the chair, floor, bed linnen, ans pillows. There were roaches crawing around the room. Even though the roon was advertised as having a mini fridge abs TV, there was not either of those. There were no towels or wash cloths. The room smelled so bad we couldn't even stay. We left shortly after we checked in and went and slept in the car in a rest area.

We found bed bugs in our bed when we woke up in the morning. They had bitten overnight. The place was in general disrepair- a hole in the wall, cigarette holes in the bedding, a dripping faucet, stained sheets and towels, rusty and poorly attached towel rack, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling...... The smell of pot was everywhere and overwhelming in the halls and staircase. Breakfast was only served at the inconvenient times of 6-7am and 10-11am. Stay away from this place.

Checked out after 30 minutes of being there, told front desk we were uncomfortable to stay there. Did not get refunded. Would not recommend staying here.

The hotel was utterly filthy with no breakfast as advertised. They had some muffins and coffee, but that was one of the reasons I went and paid more for this space. The smell was a stench that carries through out. The cost of the room is insane for the quality. In a 3rd world country this may be satisfactory. I was here for two nights. No Blankets with holes on the cover sheets. You must not go. It is horrendous, and the smell is haunting through out.

You walk in and it immediately hits you with an overpowering cigarette stench that penetrates every part of the motel. The water pressure was abysmal. My 10 year old could have cleaned the room better. The beds and blankets where rough and uncomfortable. When we went to check out the feont desk attendant was fast asleep. Will never stay here again amd warn anyone else not to either.

This hotel needs to taken off your list! It is a dive/dump. No lamp shade, heater was noisy. I unplugged the fridge due to its noise. I have never stayed at such an awful place in my life. Hotels.com used to have reputable lodging, not so much anymore. HORRIBLE!!! And the advertised breakfast was a package of 'Uncle Wally's Bake Shoppe Muffins', choco chip. No milk, juice, or tea bags. Coffee and hot water, only. All the furnishings were there, though not used. Highly disappointed. We were traveling, made late night reservations, and picked this hotel all because of the price and stated 'breakfast included' on your site. Breakfast is NOT a package of 2 small muffins!!!

Many cigarette burns in blanket. Sink drain clogged. Hallway stinks like sour milk. Key card not working, but office is in another building from rooms. (Not the hotel's fault, but constant shouting, cussing, people upstairs jumping, kids running all night. If you stay here, you will need earplugs.)

The carpet was filthy. The towels - all two of them - were incredibly old with stains. I got a blanket out of my truck and slept on top of the bed as the bed cover it was so old and unkept. No microwave oven. The chair was broken.

Upon looking over the room. Mattress was clean and protected as were the sheets. Only issue had was safety. Window was not able to be locked and there was no screen. Could reach out and touch the dirt on the ground. Bedroom door, dead bolt didn’t latch, and swing arm latch was missing screws. Front desk worker refunded my money no questions asked.

my Room felt gross. There were stains on the floor that looked like blood, writing on the bathroom wall, and my door was having problems unlocking for me. I even got locked out for a solid 30min, which they then had to come fix. It wouldn't have bothered me as much, but I left stuff inside and was in a bit of a hurry. I would feel a bit unsafe as the wrong customer.

We chose this location based on the location and we knew it was an older building so we did not expect the latest and greatest. We were happily surprised by the excellent quality and comfort of the bed. Overall we were happy with the location and staff during our check in. We "bumped into a facilities/maintenance worker who also very nice and polite. We did have a bad experience at check out, the front desk worker was asleep and we could not wake him. There was no free breakfast (it was advertised) probably because he was sound asleep and didn\'t set it up. Unfortunately we had a tight schedule so we left our key cards at the desk and bought breakfast after we left. If we could attach a photo of the sleeping employee we would.

They Are CHEATERS, WORST property & management and super RUDE staff. They charged us even after checking out immediately after finding issues of hairs on pillow, no pillow cover, cigarette bud mark on bedsheet, COCKROACH on floor, smell was unbearable, phone receiver was so dirty to touch. They are CHEATERS, did not check me out and kept my reservation active even after I checkout immediately, which we found out after getting checkout email from expedia on schedule checkout day. Upon calling, hotel staff asked to wait for 24-48 hrs and call back, before that she HUNG UP thrice and kept me on Hold. On followup, manager asked to call expedia and not them and hung up. They are FOOLING people and EXPEDIA SYSTEM to make money.

The staff member was very rude. When we explained that we meant to reserve a non-smoking room, we were told no changes even though there were available rooms. Then the key would not work and the staff member acted like we were a bother to him. The room looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. There were cigarette burns on the chair, floor, bed linnen, ans pillows. There were roaches crawing around the room. Even though the roon was advertised as having a mini fridge abs TV, there was not either of those. There were no towels or wash cloths. The room smelled so bad we couldn't even stay. We left shortly after we checked in and went and slept in the car in a rest area.

I would not recommend staying here. I flew into Allentown, PA just for the night and thought the pictures looked decent for the price and quick stopover. The attendant at the front desk was very friendly, and that is where the positives more or less stop. The room, as well as the lobby and halls, smelled strongly of cigarettes, even though I checked to make sure it was a non-smoking room. There were burn marks on parts of the bed, as well as all over the tub. I found insect parts in the bed sheets and under the mattress. The walls and towel racks were really beat up and damaged. I felt so uncomfortable that I ate the cost of the room, left and got another room north by the airport. I definitely suggest spending anther $25 or $50 to feel comfortable and avoid this Super 9.

Our first room was disgusting. I was there alone the first night because my husband was late trucking in from his job. We told the front desk we wanted the room thoroughly cleaned while we were out exploring the area and going to an appointment. When we got back 6 hours later, the room hadn’t been cleaned. My husband was furious and went to the desk demanding we be moved and some form of compensation for all of the trouble we went through. We were moved to a clean room, but the damage had been done. The next night, my husband went to settle the bill, and they only gave us a $5 discount. My husband was supposed to file a complaint with Super 8 about the issues we went through and some form of compensation. I recommend that anyone needing a hotel room in this area of Pennsylvania to stay elsewhere! This place needs a total overhaul and new owners and to enforce a no loitering policy to keep creepy people away.

This was not a good property. Very run down and lots of people just hanging around. Didn't feel particularly safe. The front desk person was not friendly, and the front desk area was cluttered and shabby. A stroke of good fortune, I suppose, is that they "overbooked" and I was turned away. My son and I wound up spending a lot more money than I hoped, but went to a decent place. I would not recommend this hotel.

What an horrible place this is. A damaged car ( accident and damaged body with knife) was parked on disabled parking spot. I booked non smoking room but it was smelling cigarettes & marijuana in room and common places. It was smelly and stinky, dirty rooms hallways. Avoid this place for your own health and safety. I felt unsafe in the area and worried about my car would get damaged. Never going back there again!

Allentown Health Department had orange sign o front door stating that hotel was “Operating without a food service license because of non-compliance with food service sanitation.” Pillows were filthy. Bed spreads had cigarette holes in them. Carpet was never vacuumed and had cigarette butts and plastic bottles on the floor. Trash can had not been emptied. When I complained and asked for room change, desk clerk said the would send room service. They never came. My family slept on top of the covers because we just could not bring ourselves to pull back the sheets. There were no bugs but that was the only good thing about it. One review said "no toilet paper" and it was true... What hotel does that?!?!? Run away. Enter at your own risk.
