The hot tub was hot and one of the 'must-have' items for our stay. It was below a deck, so we couldn't sit back and stargaze as we prefer, but it was still nice after a day of hiking. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The fridge was fairly new, and the kitchen worked well for our needs. Our two constructive criticisms would be the old boiler on the lowest level and the showers - the boiler functioned fine and the house was very comfortable, but the boiler sounds like it won't survive much longer. We fortunately didn't need to use the bedroom next to the utility room (one of the two queen beds in the house) because I can't imagine being able to sleep through the sound of the boiler. As for the showers, both of them took a bit of fidgeting with the shower control valves to get hot water, and there wasn't much more than a trickle of pressure. My wife and daughters decided to wait until we came home to wash their hair. The living area on the upper-most floor was very spacious and comfortable with plenty of seating, including plenty of space at the dining table for family dinner and games, and we appreciated the very private back decks and hot tub. We didn't have a chance to use the community rec center and pool, but that would have been great if we had more time.

Great stay. Loved the quiet location and ability to walk to the ski lodge for dinner and how close the rec center was. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Great bed options and plenty to cook with. We loved the stay and would stay again. Great for hiking and also bringing the dogs. Trails right out the front door.
