This property was great for an inexpensive option in Gettysburg. Each staff member was friendly knowledgeable and helpful! Pool was wonderful for hot days and everything was within walking distance!

The beds are terrible. Terrible night sleep, and the pool is green so I didn’t we didn’t swim in it is that fine they were nice people. They only complaint was the bed and the pool is green.

Very good access to town and shops,close to all battlefields and monuments,the hotel is in need of upgrades , you step back in time to the late 70’s at this place , but it accommodates pets at a cost of $30.00 per day , and is in a great location,

Good value. No frills motel. Wifi works great. Bathrooms need updating and towels are low end. That said if you frequent Gettysburg and don't want to pay $100/night, it's a good.deal.

Not very clean. Breakfast was a Walmart type honey bun. Just very shabby. Worked because it was pet friendly though$30 a night for a pet is high. Web site said$15.

Ideal location. Great rates. Nice staff. What I didn't like: The cable TV didn't work (No big deal) The Wi-Fi was problematic my entire 2 week stay. While not a deal breaker this caused me inconvenience and additional expense.

Unfortunately this place didn't have a microwave. They close the office at 10pm, so we barely made it in time not knowing it closed. FYI, My gueen bed was broke.

The air conditioning worked very well. One mattress was firm and the other was softer. Unbearable heat for bike week and the outdoor pool helped to cool off when we needed it. TV had many channels however please invest in brackets to hang on wall. Pillows were flat as pancakes. Exhaust fan did not work in bathroom very humid. Furniture needs updating. Please buy chairs or benches for outside rooms and pool area. No where to sit outside of room. Please buy cover for light above sink a safety concern. The staff were very pleasant.

Floor was so dirty we had to scrub our feet! Mattress sank way down, shower didn’t work correctly, and air conditioner was lousy. We stayed one night and checked out early losing our paid days. Do not recommend!

Bathroom was dirty, Hair all over tub and sink. Mold growing on shower tiles and shower Curtin had mold. Towels and wash cloths were very cheap and very old. Door knob was so old I had to fight to get key to work.

The was fair for the price. Bed needed to have new mattress as i felt the spring in my back all night. Ac needed a good cleaning as you could see filter hasn't been done in a long time. Shower needed a good scrubbing. Had to remake the bed as fitted sheet was not on properly.

I would not recommend staying in the motel. Room was dirty, sheets were think and worn, bed had bed bugs which gave me issues thereafter, breakfast was merely a muffin and coffee. Overall, not a great offering unfortunately and I will not be returning.

The motel is well past its expiration date. Old furnishings from the 1960s, poor lightning, the bathroom was filthy (see photos) and smelled moldy. The mattress was awful, it sagged as i sat on it, and had a terrible night's sleep. I brought flat sheets from home and used one as a fitted sheet and a top sheet. The employee at the office during check in was not friendly in the least. There are long term residents that live there, and i really didn't want to go to my car for something I forgot, the place has a slum feeling to it. The motel could be a uniquely retro property, but the long term residents would need to go elsewhere, and every single room would need to be taken to the studs and be brought up to 22st century standards.

I decided to book this hotel after seeing the rating as “Good” I should have read the reviews. We booked for two nights but decided to move on after the first night. I will say it is in a great location….. that is the good. The bad… it is not clean. The bottom of the toilet was horrible and looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time (No excuse for it to look like it looked) The room needs a good deep clean for sure. We asked for extra towels and they never came. The next time we visit we will be sure to spend the extra $50-100 to ensure our room is at least clean. I took pictures of the toilet and will attach if can. If you absolutely have to stay here I would bring cleaners and throw away rags and give it a wipe down.

Our room was filthy. Our feet or socks got dirty just walking from the shower to the bed area. There was dog hair on everything. Visible dirt on the plastic covering the lamp shades. Pieces of broken glass in a couple of spots. Stains on the sheets and towels. Although the room is nonsmoking, there are ashtrays outside of every room that have not been emptied. The only good thing about this motel is the location. It was an easy walk to several restaurants, shops and tourist attractions.

The sheets were stretched out and wouldn’t remain in bed. It was gross sleeping on the mattress like that. There were stains and yuck. The floors were also dirty. My partner wore his socks around and they were brown after a few minutes. The place needs a deep clean. But love the location.

This property has a great location but the upkeep of the property is lacking over the years. We have stayed there many times before. It is an older motel, but a little maintenance could go a long way. Our room was very dirty- one bed the sheets were not changed between guests, dirty and full of hair. The floors were not cleaned and the shower drain was clogged, and the room smelled like smoke. The people were nice, but the place was very disappointing. It used to be a great place to stay, but we probable will not stay again

There are several decent small motels in Gettysburg, unfortunately this was not one of them. We stayed here a few years ago and it wasn’t too bad. This time I we got a pretty crappy room. The mattress was old 10 years ago. There was no pad on the mattress, only a thin sheet. Mattress was also stained. (See pics) Bathroom was old and nasty. Tub was slippery, dangerous and didn’t drain. Will not be back here ever. Better bets are the Colton motel, Best Western or Quality Inn all on the same road.

Check in was super easy and fast with a good price, the room was okay, mattress covered in cheap plastic and sheets slipped off easily when tossing and turn on very firm mattress. None of the outlets would charge our devices but other than that average for an older property. Had a VERY UNCOMFORTABLE interaction at the pool with what I'm guessing is a long term stay guest, lady came up to pool gate on video call and showed my teenage daughter and myself in the pool and said about the color of our swimsuits, weirdest part she wanted for my husband to go back into our room to get something, we got out and felt very unsafe at the pool area.Sadly the outstanding reviews and recommendations, we won't be staying here again on our next trip.

The property is very rundown. The window air conditioner installed in the wall had all the markings for the buttons worn off. Somebody had marked them with them sharpie but most of that had worn off. The door opens to the outside and you can see light around it

For the price I paid, I would not stay here again. The room was in need of a major upgrade. Upon arrival, I left the door open for about 15 minutes to air out the smell of cleaner. It still smelled for about 24 hours after. Furniture was sticky, stains all over walls and dust everywhere. Remote did not work the flat screen tv and it took about an hour to figure out how to turn the tv off. The mattresses were covered in plastic, which could be seen as a blessing and a curse at the same time. We were in room 130, which is near the street so we heard traffic all night long, in addition to our noisy neighbor who passed out over the steering wheel of his running car the first night we were there. We were told by the front desk staff that this is normal. He stays there all the time. I expected a lot more for what I paid for the room. I would not pay more that $100 a night for a room like this, even on a busy weekend.

Basic 1950's room. Not handicapped accessible, but a single wooden ramp got me in the room with my scooter. Plus side, the place was built before they put heavy restrictions on lodgings, so it's right in the middle of the old part of town. Walkable to many of the museums, and right across from the Cemetary.

Have stayed there several times in the past and where very satisfied. Always clean and comfortable. This time checked in and left for an off-site event. One thirty AM, exhausted came back to get some rest. Nice comfy King size bed. My wife and I immediately fell into a hole in the middle of the bed. Fitted sheet kept flying off the mattress. No matter which edge you tried to hang on yo ended up in the hole in the middle of the bed after two nights of rolling into the void our stay was over. On checkout the desk person's response was, the owner is aware, he's getting a new frame, that one is broken. Said it promoted snuggling. There were plenty of vacant rooms. If they knew that the bed was broken they shouldn't have booked it. Very disappointed probably our last stay there

First time at this property was in 1976. Still has that feeling, the deck around the pool is still the same, though no one uses it, it's there. We had enough soaps, towels, and tp for our 6 night stay using 2 adjoining rooms. The mattresses were fairly new but were wrapped in plastic. This made the bed very hot and the bedding constantly was coming off besides hearing every turn one made during the night. Though the floors look newer, my husbands socks were very black. Even a swiffer might do wonders. The parking lot has been recently paved, the grounds were clean, but no frills. It's a bit run down over all but the location is super convenient. I think there are folks living in the rooms, though we never felt unsafe there was a lingering odor of stale smoke and even of weed, the smell permeating the air. I really wouldn't say there's a continental breakfast either.We stayed here more out of nostalgia, but might move elsewhere the next trip.

We had enough soaps, towels, and tp for our 6 night stay using 2 adjoining rooms. The mattresses were fairly new but were wrapped in plastic. This made the bed very hot and the bedding constantly was coming off besides hearing every turn one made during the night. Though the floors look newer, my husbands socks were very black. Even a swiffer might do wonders. The parking lot has been recently paved, the grounds were clean, but no frills. It's a bit run down over all but the location is super convenient. I think there are folks living in the rooms, though we never felt unsafe there was a lingering odor of stale smoke and even of weed, the smell permeating the air. I really wouldn't say there's a continental breakfast either.We stayed here more out of nostalgia, but might move elsewhere the next trip.

Customer service was poor- the attendant at the front desk took a personal call AND took a call from their boss while checking us in and was yelling at both people because they “didn’t feel good”. Cleanliness was okay- clean towels and blankets, but the shower walls had dirt grime on them and there was small black facial or pubic hair in the tub. There were facial hair trimmings around the sink. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the air conditioner, but it appeared to have visible black mildew in it. Beds were comfortable, room only had about 3 available outlets, water pressure was poor, and the door locks were very hard to unlock with the key (not card… good ol’ key). Good location though, in the heart of Gettysburg. Will likely not be staying here again.

I arrived a few hours early hoping to check in only to be told very rudely that our room wasn’t ready and they (other guest) didn’t even check out and told in a nasty voice come back after 2, your room will be ready then!

Terrible experience. I reserved a room with two beds. Was given a room with one bed by person at desk. When I told clerk I reserved room with two beds, was told that's what the manager gave me and he can do whatever he wants. They said no other rooms were available. Luckily, a girl waiting in the slow moving line agreed to swap rooms with me. Will never, ever go back and will tell all members of the organization to which I belong to avoid at all costs.

Desk clerk made it out to be an inconvenience because we checked in around 9 pm.had to get hair drier from front desk. Went to get some extra towels was told had to get them between 9 and 11 am. Smell of smoke and Marijuana all hours of the evening and throughout the night. When checking out couldnt get service just had to drop key and and tie hair dryer to door handle because door was locked at front desk at 8am in the morning.

Another wonderful stay! If you're looking for a budget hotel, this is the place to go. We're in the room long enough to sleep and shower. If you get hungry or thirsty you're only a few steps away from Tommy's Pizza, also within walking distance to dining, shopping, coffee shop, bars and 2 convenience stores. Its always a pleasure to see Harlin too!

I arrived after the office had closed to find a note on the door telling me which was my room & where I'd find the key, simply asking that I dealt with the checking-in formalities in the morning, before I left. I was very grateful - & quite impressed. The Manager told me that's how they do things there. Only criticism was, as is so often the case in America, "breakfast" meant coffee. Still hope to return some time.

The wooden door swelled from humidity and I had to call police to bust it open to escape. My cell phone continuously dialed the desk from 5:15 am to 6:05 am for help getting out of the room but there was no answer. Then I called local Gettysburg police who came and burst the door open.

The location is perfect for visiting the battlefields and cemetery and historic area. All are walking distance. Parking is excellent and staff are very friendly and responsive to requests. The room has everything you need and is spacious.

We had a great time in gettysburg. The budget host three crowns is a nice little motel. The price is right and location is good. The people working there are friendly and helpful. The room was clean. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a nice motel in the middle of the shopping district. There are shops and restaurants within a few feet. Our room was close to the main street but it wasn't noisy at all. I would definitely stay here again.

This was the best price of any clean, safe, convenient place, and I was pleased. I got what I paid for. As advertised, it was a simple inexpensive place that met my needs. Old and not beautiful, but clean, safe, and good price. Coffee at the front desk, but ONLY coffee there in the morning. Simple. Great location. Great price.

Location was great to Gettysburg National Military Park and shopping, etc. Sheets were stained, not enough electrical outlets in room, sink backed up and strained very slowly, advertised breakfast did not occur. Area was very quiet which was nice.

The room was pretty clean, but the wall AC was a bit noisy. I can sleep through anything so it wasn't an issue. The water pressure wasn't great, but sufficient. Super WIFI. Free breakfast was coffee and a honey bun or muffin. I would stay here again.

I stayed at this property when I was 10. It was cute then, but now as I am older this property has lost its cuteness! No in room amenities except for a fridge, coffee only available in the office area during breakfast, large empty Folgers coffee cans outside each room for cigarette butts! Office manager called me en route to inquire what time I would be arriving! I guessed at 5pm and asked if there was an issue. He said no, that he wanted to make sure someone was in the office when we arrived! Really? Check in after 2pm so I’d expect someone there. Never had that in all my years of booking a hotel! He also made no mention of breakfast, which was coffee and Hostess danishes! No mention of driving off the property which is tricky, no mention of anything! As much as we love Gettysburg, we will not stay there again! My kudos to Chuck the housekeeper, who was not only friendly and caring about our stay, but because of a hot water issue, came to work on his day off! Thanks Chuck, you were the bright spot in our stay!

It was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was all we needed for a one-night stay. I especially liked the hotel's proximity to the sites we wanted to see while we stayed there. We were able to walk to the cemetery, right across the street. We were within walking distance of Gettysburg's cute shops and restaurants. I highly recommend Johnny's Pizza.

It is certainly a “motor lodge” and we got what we paid for. But it was convenient. I wouldn’t stay there again and highly suggest that, if you do book, you bring bleach with you. The amount of suspicious black growth around the shower faucet and grout lines was quite alarming.

At first, the guy at the reception desk was kind of rude. I checked in around 4:30, and he acted like it was super inconvenient. I asked a question about where I could walk my dog and he acted annoyed that I had a dog -- which I had disclosed when i made the reservation. He charged me an additional fee, which I expected. His information about where I could walk her was incorrect. On the other hand, the location was wonderful. We were right in town and near the cemetery.

If you’re looking for a five star hotel this is not it! This is our second stay here location is great rooms are dated but clean. Pool looked good but we never used. Room was spacious and they do house keeping every day. We will return
