Best Western Harrisburg I-81 Grantville Hershey

Overall good - it smelled clean but like the clean smell was covering up another scent instead of being clean. It seemed a little dated too. The room was quiet and had blackout curtains. The included breakfast was amazing and had so many options. The pool was small but a nice amenity to have. Good for a quick stay. The staff were helpful and kind.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Pool was cloudy but enjoyable. Breakfast was good, except no meat offered but sausage gravy and only fresh fruit was apples.

The breakfast was under-stocked. Some things were not working (yogurt). I would also have appreciated a small outdoor seating area.

The staff all seemed to be trying their best and were courteous and respectful but it seemed like processes were not great and were slow, in general. Check-in took really long despite there only being a few guests checking in at the time, and the receptionist only gave my husband one key even though there were two adults registered in the room, so we waited in line for another 10-15 minutes to get a second key behind only two people, only for a lady to walk in the door and cut the line and get waited on first, and she had an issue that also took long. We gave up and never got our second key. The breakfast was okay but multiple things ran out and took a while to refill. The worker was polite and courteous and seemed to be trying his best to refill things but probably could have used help. The room was fine, the hotel and room seemed clean and I did not see anything that looked like it had been forgotten or left dusty, etc. but we still just didn’t feel super comfortable and relaxed in the room for some reason. The worst were the pillows. Bring your own if you choose to stay here! My neck was sore for our whole trip after sleeping on those things and I have spent 3 visits and $165 on the chiropractor so far, and still need to go back for further treatment. Really wish I hadn’t cheaped out and would have just booked the Hershey Lodge instead. I’ll have spent more than the extra money that would have cost by the times I’m done with the chiropractor.
