The room was like a small efficiency. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishes. Quiet and clean. Staff were amazing!!! I only come to the area for the basketball tournaments. This hotel was an awesome find and pet friendly. I could have brought my Pomeranian along.

Booked hotel at this location specifically for the OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL. Pool clearly advertised and photos shown of outside pool. Upon arrival, I looked for the pool. I see that it is a big empty "Dry" hole that would not serve as a pool. We did not check in to the hotel and we had Expedia intervene to assist in locating suitable Hotel accomodations elsewhere that did not misrepresent their hotel amenities. This created a very stressful situation very late evening. If I hadn\'t a severely broken/ fractured foot & Ankle the outdoor pool wouldn\'t have been THAT big of a deal breaker maybe. But, I\'m not keen on misrepresentation in any form. Expedia nailed it in assisting to relocate us for a 2 night stay . Thanks Expedia.

Our stay was wonderful. This is a great place to stay. Also, pet friendly, as we brought our dog with us. Would recommend if you need a place to stay near Lancaster, PA.

Decent hotel for a night. Rooms need to be updated with new carpet. Kitchen sink didn’t drain, garbage disposal broken. Kitchen has absolutely no supplies until requested. Had to return to office and carry a heavy box with kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, even the coffee machine.

I had a room on the 3rd floor. The hallway stank, it was a musty cigarette odor. I ventured to the other floors and they didn't have that smell. However my room didn't smell which was great. The pullout bed wasn't super comfy but those never are. The bed was soft but the pillows were very flat, no support what so ever. They don't offer any free breakfast, and the pool is closed for the season due to maintenance issues. They did say that we could use the hotel across the parking lot, so after walking down the lot, across the street and up into the building we used the pool. Staff was really friendly, and helpful, they apologized about the pool situation.

I found this place by mistake, having had my previous room from another place cancelled I booked this one last minutes and man am I glad I did. Front desk staff was absolutely amazing. The room was very spacious and way more than I could have ever asked for. It was about 20 minutes from the local Casino, the pool was operational. The fridge had an ice maker in it. I mean what more can you ask for. I really really enjoyed this place and will look to stay there again next year.

Although the hotel was impressive inside & outside, as were the efficiency rooms, there were problems.The advertised pool is closed for the summer due to maintainence issues. The advertised free breakfast is actually avail only on weekends. The efficiency rooms don't have cooking,eating or drinking utensils. One desk staff on afternoon/nite shift on 5/30 had poor attitude. Both my and my husbands key didn't work when arrived back to room, when we went to front desk, the woman fixed the key but offered no appologies and had a bad attitude. The women on both our check in day 5/29 and checkout day 5/31 were wonderful.

Not a bad hotel but is definitely dated and can hear everything that goes on in the hall and next door. Room had mysterious brown stuff streaked down the walls and door frame. Breakfast is a grab and go, which is fine, but wasnt ready at 630 when stated that it would start at 6. For the money, it wasnt bad.

The place was nice and somewhat clean, unfortunately we notice areas of the room with pet hair and my wife end up having an allergic rash all over her body. We had pet hair all over our bags and in the sofa bed.

Front desk staff was nice. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but wasn’t. Front desk clerk offered to refund, but we were already there and no other hotels were available in the immediate area. Smoke smell in room was horrible and stuck to everything. Windows don’t open. Used soap was in the shower. Furniture was old and needs upgrading. Hotel appears to be for homeless housing.

Room was to be a non-smoking room but the hallways and the room smell like musky cigarettes. The room had cigarette burns in the carpet and the air vents in the room were gross. I would like a refund for this stay it was a horrible experience. My family had to sleep fully clothed as that’s how dirty it felt. Unfortunately, there was nothing else available in the area to leave the hotel

Room had dust all over the walls. Bathroom with food on walls. No hand towel, kleenex box with 5 kleenex left, and no extra toilet paper. Pull out sofa bed too hard and old so had to put cushions on floor and sleep.

We stayed for a sporting event. We booked a two night stay and cut it short by a day after we seen multiple cockroaches in our room! We did not get any reimbursement for checking out a day early. There also was no one working at the front desk for hours the evening we checked out. We tried calling and no answer, doers were shut to the office and lights were out we waited several hours and no one. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

There was a huge black spot (dust? Mold) on the ceiling. The vent on the ceiling had tons of dust hanging from it. We had one fork and two spoons in the kitchen. We had 3 tissues in the bathroom. Literally 3. I loved that I could bring my four legged kid!!

This was way better than a one room hotel and the same cost ,or less than most. 2 bedrooms, little lv area and kitchen . I kept the name to look it up when I travel in the future! Clean and helpful, nice staff too!

This hotel is in a decent location but has very old unkept mattresses and furniture. Linens are minimal. Small room , very loud at night . No fruit options for breakfast. I would not stay here again. Just got bought from extended stay but is not up to brand standards.

We only stayed overnight. Beds are comfortable and I like that there is 1 king bed and 1 double bed. Room is equipped with small kitchen but we didn’t use. Upon entering the room, it had a dog smell which dissipated over time if you stay in the room longer, probably because we already got used to the smell. But if you leave the room and return again after a few hours, the smell will still be there. Carpet needs some cleaning. Lobby is dark and uninviting. Was not expecting a breakfast but they did offer some bagels and pastries in the morning. For the price, I will go here again but only for an overnight stay.

We were planning to arrive on 8/8/2024, but that morning we were hit with unexpected crazy amounts of rain and high winds. Despite that we decided to take the 3 hour trip because my fiancé is a truck driver so he’s very experienced with such conditions, and because it was our son’s 7th birthday and had plans to celebrate. About 90 minutes in we were rear ended by a driver going very fast and ended up sliding into another car in the rain. Our car was totaled but luckily everyone came out alive with minor injuries. After going to the hospital and making sure everyone was alright we contacted the property. We spoke with a woman who claimed to be the manager, I do not remember her name but it was the morning of 8/8/24. We explained the wild and unfortunate situation and that we had plans to celebrate my son’s birthday. She seemed very understanding and sympathetic, after checking our reservation information she explained that since we booked through Expedia we had to go through them to process the refund and that they would absolutely approve it on their end. She assured us that when Expedia reached out to them the refund would be approved. We thanked her and expeditiously contacted Expedia to start the process and even explained the situation to them& that we spoke to a manager& she assured us that the refund would be approved. Expedia thencontacts them& comes back to us and says that after multiple tried they were unable to get approval for the refund from the property manager.

Front desk worker was very rude (Ali). We were supposed to show up on a Wednesday and called at 6:00p.m to let the know we wouldn’t be there until 4:00 a.m. and unfortunately we had a family emergency. Called back at 9:00 and said we would be there around 4:00 p.m on Thursday. When we showed up they said we didn’t have a reservation. I knew I had to pay the cancellation fee for Wednesday night. They wanted to charge us another $700 dollars after they took the first $700. She kept saying the third party took the money. I tried to show her the hotel had taken the money out. She kept staying the third party did. I got so frustrated I had to walk outside. My wife then went in and tried talking to Ali and she told her if you don’t leave the property she was going to call the police. Expedia then tried to call and solve the problem and she was rude to them. All said and done Expedia was able to find us another place after 3 hours. This was the worst experience I have had in the 55 years of my life dealing with a hotel!!

My stay was great. My son had an AAU tournament, and we stayed for one night. The staff was all friendly and very helpful and accommodating. Courtney was awesome in answering all my questions. If I have to go back to Spooky Nook, I will stay there again and again alone on their hospitality!!

the property met my needs for my overnight. Clean, quiet and relaxing. I was surprised when I asked for a morning wake-up call and the person at the desk informed me that the hotel didn't provide that service. i've never been to a hotel that doesn't provide this basic service. we liked that it was off the main highway and that it was pretty quite for the kids to go to bed. We enjoyed having a big regrigerator, and stove top. We also liked that they had a pull-out couch in the main living room and then another queen bed off in another room.

We have stayed here for a few tournaments at Spooky Nook over the years. Very quick and convenient drive to the facility. Within 20 minute drive of anything you may need or want to do. Clean and friendly. Only issue is if you select pay at arrival when you book, they will actually charge your card before you arrive so make sure you use the card you want the charge on to reserve.

Booked for 1-night to visit Jason Woods. The service was great and staff were very kind. The room was very clean and seems updated. We had the 1 queen bed room with kitchenette. Free breakfast on the weekend and free coffee is always out. They also sell snacks at the front desk which is a plus considering there's not much convenience stores around. Overall enjoyed my stay.

Parking lot had a lot of litter. and had to walk off property for 'full breakfast ' which was just a hot waffle machine. These being said the front desk staff was wonderful! staying late so my son, driving 4.5 hours for a family funeral, could get checked in.
